The Activ8 team were great from start to finish from our initial sales consultations with Simon to the very professional team who came to do our installation. I would highly recommend, and I felt the whole process went very smoothly, with a very neat and quality finish.

Efficiency and professionalism of the team who worked here were admirable. Everything was clearly explained to us. Their time keeping was excellent. They were timed to be here at 8am and arrived to the second! They worked hard to complete the work. We were impressed 😊

absolute disgrace of a service from this company, everything is mis-sold from the sales Rep who promises everything to then the managers who were in touch over the botched job I had trying to get the Eddi device fitted , promising everything but then nothing once the installation is done, they work with SSE who again provides disgraceful service, the only good thing with Activ 8 were the installation team their work was over and above, just beware, do not go near this company 3 k more expensive than their rivals but the rivals say it as it is and no mis-selling. MY Neighbour got a rival company, and her experience had been second to none. Also, Activ8 do not supply a changeover switch; they put plugs outside for you to plug in extension cables for electricity when you have a power outage.

To be honest, I've had a bug to near with this company from the moment their team arrived on site and one of their crew spat in front of me on the drive way and kindly left his used coffee cup on our letter box. This happened several years ago, but it still annoys me and didn't tell them to leave, I really felt disrespected but we wanted the solar panels and contracts had been signed.
But, my real bone of contention is, the placement of their unit in the attic. At no time where we told, that if we change our WiFi, the app on the phone will no longer work. To fix said problem, you need to get to the unit. Now, that's all good and dandy if you're able, but being disabled, a lot harder. Had I known I would need access to the unit, I would have placed it somewhere else accessible to me.
Now, the company gave me two options, 1, find a trusted family member to climb into the attic, where they would talk them through it, or 2, pay €250 for an engineer to call out.
So, if you are disabled like me, be aware of the placement of the unit and learn from my mistake or the company's intent to save money.

The instalation went very smoothly. The work was carried out efficiently and very neat and tidy and everything was clearly explained to us.

Just pure professional work from start to finish , very helpful, explained everything . The front line staff on the phone were exceptional, down to Barry who came on first visit to the lads that did the survey and the amazing installation team. Activ8 trusted name and product, exceptional.

From initial contact, to full install, it was professional. The installers were top class. Only hitch, original install date was cancelled on the afternoon of the day before, without satisfactory explanation. Perhaps review communication protocols. However, the overall experience, was excellent.

It started with good clear advice from the salesman who seemed interested in us getting the best configuration rather than trying to sell everything he could. Activ8 followed up and kept to the promised timelines and procedures, culminating in a quick and clean installation on the promised date.
