From initial consultation to having solar panels installed was an easy process. Everything was explained along the way. The lads installing the panels were on time, polite and left the site clean.

Great installers, but not great on follow up on missing AC Backup plug. Customer Service failed to follow up. I had to request plug from Solis (Ginlong), who were able to supply it

SEAI invited us to become an "NSAI Standards Committee Member for the Design and Installation of solar PV Microgenerators in Homes" to help eliminate unqualified and dangerous installations. Activ8 has been named Green Energy Provider Award Winners 2025, Green Energy Supplier of the Year 2024, and one of Ireland's Best Managed Companies in 2024 at the Deloitte Awards. Activ8 if you want to future proof you’re solar investment
Our installation was carried out in a very professional manner on the day. However equally as impressive was the after sales support from Activ8 when we were getting used to the system after it was installed. I’m confident that if we need to add to our existing installation in years to come we are in the best hands possible.

From first making contact with Activ8…
From first making contact with Activ8 we received professional and friendly service. First was the visit from a member of the sales team who gave us all relevant information with regards to the solar panels and how they work, and the process of fitting. The next visit was from an engineer to confirm that our building was suitable. On the day of installation the team arrived on time, working away and made sure to clean up after themselves. The team leader made sure that all was working as it should and made sure to explain all about the panels and the app. Every one we encountered were friendly and professional.

Poor communication within Admin/ sales
The installation, was very professional, the engineer was very knowledgeable, nice bunch of guys, work done without any nuisance or stress, and within the time frame.
However the reason for 4 stars is your lack of communication, in your administration team, from your sales person through to your office staff,it leaves a lot to be desired, and nearly led to me cancelling the contract.
