Quick delivery
Looking through the reviews I was a bit apprehensive about ordering but I had nothing to worry about! It was a very quick and smooth process! I ordered a Ring doorbell through Blue Light yesterday and received the item today. All in all very happy with the service I received.

Brilliant service! Thank you! I’m not going to lie…. I read the trust pilot reviews and was really sceptical. But… the customer service was brilliant, really helpful and kept me updated. The ooni pizza oven, which was a vodafone promotion, was delivered quickly by DPD. Thank you for your great service and help!

Very poor customer care
Ordered a door bell via Blue Light Card and dispatch email arrived on 03/07/25 with UPS tracking. Confirmation of arrival at local delivery depot next day but 13 days later my purchase has still not arrived. Very slow email responses and no offer of sending a replacement or refund given.
Very disappointing customer service I just want my money back now !

If there was a minus I would choose that. Ordered a doorbell that arrived damaged. Contacted the company for help got a ridiculous "ticket" promising a response within 24/48 hours. Contacted them again two days later as I had heard nothing. Weak response eventually received. Over a week or so I sent approximately six emails trying to resolve this, each time the ticket pings into your in box. The small print says if items aren't returned unopened they will only give a partial refund, refunds have to be within fourteen days but given that they consistently ignore you it feels this is so you exceed the two week return window. Eventually reported them to my bank. Just had another email saying as I've raised a charge back they will no longer be looking to resolve the issue. i.e the bank pays so we don't. AVOID AT ALL COSTS AND READ ALL REVIEWS!!!!!

Ordered shark robot hoover. Didn't get sent confirmation. Queried it and was just told it will arrive soon. Never did. Cancelled order told I would get refund. No mention of when. Still waiting

New rating 09/07/25 - AOD has been very helpful processing my return and refund in the end. It took a few days to aknowledge and advise but overall has been handled very professionally. 5 stars.

Order Not Received – No Communication, No Support
I placed an order for a pizza oven through Activate onDemand using a Blue Light Discount (Order #291603), spending over £300. Since then, I have received no communication whatsoever about the status of my order.
I have contacted them multiple times via their official enquiries email and through their online contact form—which claims to respond within 48 to 72 hours—but I’ve had no response at all.
There is no phone number to speak with anyone, and the complete lack of customer service is incredibly frustrating and concerning. At this point, I’m worried that I will not receive the product or a refund.
I’m extremely disappointed and expect either a proper update or a full refund immediately. I will be escalating this further if I continue to be ignored.
Avoid this company unless you want to risk losing your money.
UPDATE - Following on from my review I have had a direct phone call apologizing and updating me on my order. Speaking with a person is the Best Customer Service, so fingers crossed the delivery arrives.

Please do not buy from this company, twice they have dispatched the wrong items to me and on both occasions told me I ordered the wrong item, even though the email I sent them included a copy of their receipt which clearly showed I ordered the right item. Customer Services are appalling, no telephone number to call them. Just a complete joke

Honest but not very organised company
They said they attempted to post the item but were unsuccessful so returned it to their warehouse and in process of sending me a refund. I knew nothing about this until I called them asking where my item was. They have all my details, why didn't they call me, email me or leave item in a safe place. I had to re-purchase the item again and wait for refund on the original order. My advice to this company is....try working smarter, not harder.

I ordered two items and when only one arrived I contacted them for support the person that emailed me back was very polite friendly and knowledgeable and they informed me they would look into my issue. The very next day I got another DPD notice and as the email came through my item was at my door :) I find them to be a very honest and trustworthy company and will definitely be ordering with them again as the items I received were of great quality and the prices great thank you

Update - Thanks for responding. The product has been returned and I am just waiting on the money to credit in my account .
I do think your customer service could be improved by providing a phone number .
Original post - I’m looking for a refund . I opened 1 of the box to check fittings and now they say i can’t get one as seal broken . I have sent numerous emails explaining the reason for return and getting no where. The returns policy said it will bin the whole product if 1 seal broken which seems crazy !

What an amazing experience
What an amazing experience! I asked them cheekily if I could have my speaker sent next day as I'm off to Scotland for my birthday, I offered to pay and they emailed me the following day with the postage proof and wishing me a lovely time and no payment required! Such a warm and comforting experience.

Avoid this scam !!!!
I’m trying to return a Veho speaker and they keep trying to scam me.
they asked me to sign a doc that states:
“Activate OnDemand (AOD) Ltd. Customer Faulty Goods Declaration
Please fill out the section below with your name and order number.
In signing this document, I confirm that the item(s) being returned are faulty and were so on
arrival in accordance with the Activate OnDemand returns policy (attached).
I understand that faulty items will be checked on arrival at Activate OnDemand’s 3rd party
distribution centre and if the item is not faulty and/or return conditions are not met, I
understand that I will be ineligible for a refund and the item will be disposed of.”
I never even mentioned that the item is faulty, but they will dispose it if is not and i don’t get a refund.
then the worst of the worst (email from them) :
“We kindly wish to inform you that we can only accept returns for items that are unused, in their original packaging, and with all security seals intact.
To proceed with your return request, may we please ask you to confirm whether the item is unopened and that the warranty seals remain unbroken?”
how TF could i be happy/unhappy with a product if i’m not allowed to open it!
And in their return details:
“RETURNS
Our policy lasts 14 days. If 14 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.“
there is no mention about warranty seals.
But when i received the item it had already 2 seals (one on top of the other) and the bottom of the box was damaged by the previous owner.
I already have 5 days since i’m trying to return this item.
to get a reply to my latest email i have to wait another 24-48hours: and who knows what other silly ways to delay or scam they will come up with.
it will be at least 6-7 days just to have it approved to send to item back.
FCK knows how long will it take to get my money back!!!

Ordered a Ninja Airfryer via the Lloyds…
Ordered a Ninja Airfryer via the Lloyds banking app link, and a week later am still waiting for my order to arrive. Have had to chase numerous times for tracking, only to be told my product appears to be lost in transit by Yodel. Takes a long time for them to respond to your emails instead of someone just handling it then and there. Am now being asked if they should rearrange for my product to be sent to me?? Which would be quite obvious as I’ve paid for it. Not sure what I am going to get in what state and when it will eventually arrive.
