Food,great friendly service great presento enroute

This cruise itinerary did not follow the description in the brochure. Stops we anticipated were not available. As 11 star Eagle members we were disappointed in the excursions. On the boat things were excellent but the docking areas were isolated.

It was relaxing, and the excursions were very interesting. All your people on the boat. had a great time.

Very friendly, professional, efficient crew. My one complaint is the online description of the boat said it had a self-serve laundry available. We packed accordingly. But when we got on the boat we were told there were no laundry machines available for customers to use. We had to wear dirty underwear.

As always, it's the young people who are new but really want to please you in every way. After 16 trips with American, we have seen so many great kids who we know we will never see again.

Our redesigned ship, the Ranger, was much more useable & comfortable compared to the earlier versions. The ship was clean, the staff professional, and the food well above average. The trip down the Hudson at this time of year (October) was enjoyable.

Great staff, wonderful food, amazing historians and entertainment.
The talks given by Richard Rubin were very educational! We learned so much. We enjoyed his great evenings at the piano as well. Also, the talks given by Leonard Lounge were very interesting. His vocal range of music was impressive!
I liked the soft feel of the bedding.
Everyone from every discipline on the boat were so very friendly and courteous!

I love this small cruise line. It’s pricey but perfect for those folks my age (60s, 70s). Amazing scenery, cool stops, great food, pleasant staff. No need to wear dressy clothes, just casual. Been 4 times. So love it.

The overall experience was absolutely perfect. Staff, food, excursions, cleanliness..everything. The crew members were especially incredible. Definitely coming back. Highly recommend American Cruise!

Small boat/number of passenger, no children, quaint paddlewheeler, drinks included, GREAT room attendant (Christian) and dining server (Donnie). First ever shampoo and lotion to do the job. HOWEVER, the vegan meals started out great but toward the end were absolutely awful. My former experience on an ACL, the chef was clueless about vegan.

We are lost in LGA airport for over an hour now. We don't even know if we'll make this flight. Haven't ACL done this route before this mess? We have a coach full of panicked people. What a wreck this is. HELP!!!

Awesome boat and excellent service and good!

I loved learning about a part of our country that I would otherwise never had the chance to visit. The lectures and entertainment were excellent and pertained directly to the culture of the region.
The crew was so helpful and friendly as were our fellow travelers.
The Tennessee River is beautiful and the pre trip to the Great Smoky Mountains was astounding. Gorgeous views!
This was an older crowd and there were several with mobility issues but they always seemed to make wise decisions about their capabilities. The crew is very experienced and helpful in this regard.

I answered the questionnaire that the food was excellent, but if there had been a block for very good, I would have checked that one. We were on the Lewis and Clark trip and found that food excellent, vs very good on this one.

I think it would be very good to have a historian on board for all thrips to give the history of the region we are "in"... not just about locks and dams - but what that state and region are known for - doing 'then and now'... but the guest speaker was very good.

Loved the entertainment but would encourage movie days when it rains - we had the Field of Dreams movie and that was great, but on the day it rained, another movie would have been fun. And someone needs to check technology and batteries regularly.

I asked for a birthday celebration for my brother but the cake went to my room once and to my sister's room twice. Never to my brothers. These are little things but those that make a vacation perfect.

The excursion in Red Wing was way too expensive for what we did... we drove by places and the tour guide told us about the places, but I was hoping we were going to go into those homes and the old hospital.

All in all, the trip was great, and you guys do a great job.

Our American Cruise exceeded our expectations. They were organized. The food was outstanding. Special thanks to the fabulous staff- so warm and welcoming.

Most entertainment was good to great; did not enjoy the all hillbilly music of the 4 or 5 guys,
rooms were good.
Service was great: I panicked when I realized at 3 am I had packed all my shoes, and went on a search, saw a gal from my 3rd floor Bow, told her what happened, she found my suitcase and brought them to me very pleasantly!
