Food was great. Ship was spotless & beautiful. Crew were hard working, friendly and wonderful.

The Columbia and Snake River cruise was amazing! There were always beautiful views! The staff were great! They were always friendly, helpful, and busy helping each other to make sure everything was smooth and easy for the passengers!

Great staff; great food

Great service, fantastic food, friendly crew, good entertainment and activities. Beautiful scenery and met several great people.

The stateroom was immaculate upon arrival. Plus, I observed crew cleaning the decks and outside furniture daily so the ship was always pristine. All officers and crew were friendly, professional and respectful. Special shout-out to Captain Stewart, Mariah (cruise director) Kelsie (excursion director), and Evan Alexander for his insightful enrichment presentations.

the entire staff! the entertainment with maria and the couple Gosia & Ali was amazing We are looking forward to enjoying them both on future cruises.

My companion and I thoroughly enjoyed the Great Heartland Cruise. The meals were great and we loved having the half portion option. The deck crew were awesome getting us up some really steep levees; having the golf carts is a great option. We were much more impressed with your cruise than Viking or (the late) Vantage trips. Having the simpler meal options for breakfast and lunch was awesome. If we weren't already to sign on for another cruise, the multiple events plugging your future cruises would have been irritating.

The crew, food & entertainment are great! When our room was serviced the towels were replaced even when we didn’t put them on the floor… which was nice but not necessary. Clarification on tipping staff would help. I always thought that was included but others in our party did tip some staff, so we did too. Did not want the staff to think we were cheapskates! Same for the excursion guides. Do we or don’t we??😂 We have scheduled 2 more cruises so all is good!😍 Diana Haxel

The service was over the top!
The cabin's had enough storage for luggage and things.

Very impressed with the organization in transferring passengers from ship to busses for scheduled tours. Disembarking the final day was easy and smooth.
Dining was enjoyable and meals were presented with an art flair but most importantly is that all meals were delicious.
KUDO to the chef and his staff.
Dining staff was friendly and polite and truly tried to accommodate any requests.
Richard (last name?) was our historian and was extremely knowledgeable with Lewis and Clark (I read Undaunted Courage) but he was very entertaining as well. Plus, he played a mean piano too.
The lady vocalist was very talented and enjoyed her very much. We didn’t go to the lounge after dinner very often because with the busy schedule we had we were exhausted.
I want to mention the staff I remember but in reality everyone was awesome.
I want to shout out to MEEKS, Lizzie, Robin, L who took care of our cabin, Jordan and Russell in dining room
Truly everyone was great.
The ACL booking staff was helpful and answered any questions I threw at them.
The travel team was courteous and I was able to obtain the flights thst worked for us.
Last but not least , the ship itself. We sailed on the American Song and although it is an older ship in the fleet it was clean and comfortable and we completely enjoyed sailing on her.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The Cruise director Jillian was a pleasure to be around, the restaurant had some amazing food and the wait staff went out of their way to ensure our choices were served in a timely manner. Everyone met us with a smile. Wonderful time.

We were both so impressed with everything! The friendly efficient personnel, the food quality!, the entertainment, the cleanliness, the excursions, plus the travelers’ friendly nature. We have to do a shoutout to the captain and his crew for keeping us safe and informed about the weather. The staff worked so hard to create experiences with very little notice since our itinerary had to change. Thank you all!

The entire trip was wonderful!! We booked two future cruises while aboard.

Our waiters werewonderful, kind and efficient. Zada was assigned our area, always very efficient and polite. On the fourth floor lounge area, Melissa was always on hand serving, smiling and working hard to keep the area clean and well stocked.
Our cabin steward, Lew, was always keeping our cabin clean and will stocked.
We were so impressed with Captain Morgan with his Welcoming Smile, his “Hands On” approach assisting his crew with day to day operations . Captain Morgan was the most “visible & friendly” representative of American Cruise that we had the pleasure to travel with. Captain Morgan can help me on or off an American Cruise ANYTIME

It was a fantastic trip! From the incredible staff who bend over backwards to help with anything, to the awesome excursions, the excellent food quality, quantity and diversity, to the superbly laid-out ship, ACL has upped small ship travel to the next level.

Complete crew is responsive, friendly and great to be around. Great excursion, fantastic food and selections.
