The staff was very good and friendly and efficient. I would have liked to have the weather publicized each morning though.

Internet sucks

It is difficult to single out one reason we had a terrific time on our first cruise on the Snake Columbia river cruise. The food, staff, fellow travelers, guides, rooms, balconies, entertainment, side trips, and weather were all first rate. Always something to do including just looking at the scenery and locks. Hells canyon is a must for you but I believe it is misnamed, I would call it Heaven's canyon. The pianists were unusually fantastic even went overtime playing together the second night. Put this trip on your bucket list near the top.
The pretrip work was challenging and discouraging at times as my wife went to Heaven before the trip just when many trip excursions were due.

Ms Chou(chew) and Andrew were fantastic. Suzy did a great job behind the wheel. Please talk to her employer and get her a raise.

Enrichment speaker was excellent. Nice relaxed atmosphere. Loved that every cabin has a balcony. Many food options.

Great Great Customer Service. All Employees bent over backwards to help. Great Staff and Food.

Despite the difficulties caused by the Nor’easter the crew went above and beyond to make the cruise enjoyable!

I find the atmosphere relaxing and, at the same time, engaging. The people I meet and the activities available are what keeps me coming back. The staff and service are second to none. It is always special to cruise with American Cruise Lines.

All the crew was super nice and so helpful.

Our Eighth trip on American Cruise Lines and each one has been Fantastic. Looking forward to number nine and beyond.

Organization to a “T”

The first day I was on board, I fell on deck #4.
It was a gentle fall and I was not hurt. Christian,
the Gentleman in charge happened to be right there and another staff member picked me up.
I have food allergies and when I met with chef, the first day, he made the suggestion that I sit at a certain table and have the same wait staff for each meal. I did that and Janay was our server. Between Chef and Janay they were able to advise me with the menu and it was a wonderful dining experience. The chef was prepared with Gluten and Dairy free items for me. Travel is sometimes hard for me because of my allergies. However, on this cruise it was handled well.

The staff was great. Very well trained & friendly.
Here is a suggestion- there should be a representative from ACL at the hotel the night before the cruise. Set up a table & distribute the packets. Rep could answer any questions & welcome passengers. It would also be helpful if the rep could coordinate the transfers from the airport to the hotel. We had to wait about an hour for transportation along with several other ACL passengers. Not a good start to the vacation.

I had a great time. Problems are me. I did not know that I had to tell the hotel that I was with the american cruise group. I have limited walking. On my next trip I will have a scooter. This will make it easier for me . The ship is big. I just got tried. But you did a great job. My friends were right. I had a great time. Everyone was very helpful.

very well organized and very attentive staff

My 8th ACL cruise was on the American Symphony doing the Tennessee Rivers itinerary. As always, the staff was great! Very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The food was great as were the excursions and nightly entertainment. The boat was clean and modern and had all the amenities I needed. I have 3 more cruises already booked, which says a lot about my enjoyment of these cruises and ACL. Whenever I have questions about an upcoming cruise, the answer is just a phone call away.
