Although the service staff was courteous and punctual my issue has yet to be resolved. At this point I am not sure if I will get any satisfaction. It has been almost two weeks and I haven't heard anything from the company. I would appreciate an update from Appliance Masters.

OK, but Took to Long to Get Part
My dishwasher failed to drain. The technician correctly diagnosed the problem - a faulty pump. Problem: initial visit was on Thursday. On the following Wednesday I was notified that the part was in. The technician explained that the part was ordered on Monday. What happened to Friday?
In my opinion, there is no excuse for this foot-dragging delay. I could have got the part faster from Amazon.com. Also, the technician charged me $100 for the initial diagnostic visit. I made a check out for $100. After I wrote the check, the technician said the charge was $106 (with tax). I offered to write another check for $6. The technician said "no good". I had to void the $100 check and write another check for $106, which I did not want to do. This company should use some customer service oriented policies, not "my way or the highway" policies. In any event, the new part was installed and the dishwasher drains properly.
Honest, reliable and would use again, BUT......
I have used them a few times. The last time, I had a freezing condition in my refrigerator. The knowledgeable tech showed up, opened my freezer and literally turned my dial down. I was unaware there was a separate control in the freezer that affected the refrigerator portion. The actual "fix" took him about 9 seconds max, probably more like 7 seconds to open the door. Then about 4 minutes to fill out his work order on the tablet. Then another 12 seconds to walk out the door. The total bill was $75.00 plus tax. Would have been nice for him to cut the service call fee in half since this was such a simple "turn the dial" solution. That would have been good customer service. I understand paying for his time, fuel, etc., but STILL. Lesson learned.
Yep, I should have opened my computer and taken a few minutes to Google this condition. Now I'm $75.00 poorer and helped NJ with some additional sales tax.
Home Visit for Dishwasher issue
They were at our house when they said they would be. The gentlemen was very nice and seemed very knowledgeable. He analyzed fairly quickly and helped us with an honest opinion. The service charge was comparable with others.
In our case the problem was not worth fixing so we got a new dishwasher. I gave them a 4 and not a 5 because they did not actually do any repairs so i could not judge that.
Excellent thorough repair by a young professional
I have a large two door Subzero refrigerator freezer that was no longer getting cold. Appliance Masters was able to come the next morning at 10 AM. The young repairman named Greg from the Flemington was right on time and got started right away. After a few minutes of initial diagnosis, he determined the refrigeration unit needed to be recharged. Greg did the recharge quickly and efficiently and neatly. I was impressed how knowledgeable and confident he was in his work. I wished all repairmen worked as smart and efficiently as Greg did. He represents Appliance a Masters very well.

We have used Appliance Master for many repairs over the years, and we've always been very happy with their service. They are knowledgable, courteous, and reasonably priced. I can recommend them without any hesitation.
Dryer still not working
The individual who came out to look at the dryer was very experienced and quick to come out and identify the issue. From there a part was supposedly ordered. No follow up, and no part almost 2 weeks later, despite the fact that a down payment was taken. We are still waiting, next to a huge pile of laundry...and phone calls have led us to believe that the part was never actually ordered at all. Supposedly it now has been, but we will believe it when we see it and there was no effort to hasten the delivery or service. At all. Disappointed.
Disappointed, will not use again, would not recommend
Repairs for my washer/dryer combo took over a month and a half as parts were on “back-order”. I never heard from the company unless I called them. I decided to use another repair service; they fixed the machine and stated that the "$500 worth of parts on back-order" were not even needed.
ApplianceMaster refused to refund my deposit on the back-ordered parts that hadn't even arrived yet. They insisted this was to compensate them for a "diagnosis" fee, when in fact their diagnosis was incorrect.
Service Guy great - Office staff a mess
Ca't say enough good things about EJ. Office staff sucks. Three times I've waited for a part. Three times I waited to call them until the time when the part should have been back was exceeded. Three times the part JUST came in yesterday. These are appliances, something I use . . . daily . . . refrigerator, oven. Come on. I complained the last time and apparently nothing has changed. I don't believe for one second that 3 parts coincidentally came in the day before I called, but I even if that was the case, why weren't you on the phone with me at 9AM, vs checking for me at 4PM?

I've been a customer for many years. They are reliable. But recently, there has been a shift towards even better customer service. Not only are they knowledgeable, they're downright friendly....at least Matt C was. He did the job quickly and got it right the first time.
over-priced dryer repair
Repairman was pleasant and efficient, and came on time.
However, the charge was outrageous. 15 min job, nothing difficult. Should have been half of what they charged.

Repair person always arrived when scheduled. Even though it resulted in him having to make multiple visits to fix the problem, he tried to save us money by attempting a different fix. Very professional and trustworthy.
