ApplianceMaster sent repair man out for $70 bucks minimum charge against repair. Turns out my washing machine had a bad fuse. Repair man said fuse replace would be $200. I told him fuse takes 10 minutes and showed him that fuse cost $1.99 online. He said "I am already here, so you are going to lose $70." THAT'S THE SCAM. Knowing I'd already been scammed, I said fine but argued that it only takes 15 minutes, so even at 200/hour it should be $50 plus parts. Repair man would not give me stamdard hourly rate for repair. Anyway, I will NEVER use appliance master again. Total rippoff artists.
Fast effiendy and great communication
On time took the time to show me what was wrong. The part was ordered and they came back promptly to fix it. This is the third appliance they have fixed for me. I trust them and will use them again when needed
Unacceptable
The representative was pleasant and knowledgeable, HOWEVER, It should NOT take two weeks for Appliance Master to get a part for a refrigerator that is only 5 years old. I was without a refrigerator for almost two weeks. I was told that they do not stock the part, but I was not told that it would take 2 weeks to get it in. This was totally unacceptable. If I knew this, I would have called another service company.

Mystery of the of the "faulty refrigerator" solved!
We have a refrigerator freezer that is about 8 years old. It was working fine until one day we noticed the mysterious "E" "F" codes appear on the message console.
We called Appliance Master and asked for help. The friendly scheduler took down the Model number of the fridge and dispatched a repairman who arrived the next day.
The repairman "Tom" was very knowledgeable and diagnosed the problem quickly. He explained the problem and ordered the needed parts, a control board and a fan motor immediately using his on-line note book computer. Several days later he replaced the parts and like magic the refrigerator came back to life.
Tom and Appliance Master can handle any appliance problem in my opinion. They are very fast and explain all of the options needed to make an informed repair/replace decision. I recommend them without hesitation. Thank you Appliance Master! Ivan Raupp

problem solved
I have had trouble with my fisher paykel dishwasher for sometime. I have had several other service calls but no one seemed to know what the problem was.
Service master tech Shawn was careful to take the time to determine the problem and did not just brush it off as others had. They were on time, tidy, and professional. I am grateful for the proper service and repair and things are working like they should! Thanks
Totally unreliable.
Think twice before using them. Here is my experience;
Had to repair our microwave and got someone to come in and check what was wrong, found out we need to change the magnetron and 2 other components accompanying that.
1. Technician completely forgets to order the magnetron and put in the wrong order for replacement, so the order was delayed by 1 week.
2. Further to that, customer service never calls you back to tell you what's the delay. And then tells you it will there on a certain days just to get a call to say there is further delay.
Overall, it took us 3 weeks to replace something that take 5 days!!
Feels like a sham
I took the day off from work and made my issue very clear on the phone. I explained what was wrong with the machine. I also called back to give the model number. The repair person did not have the particular part, and the cost of giving the problem exceeded the coat of a new machine. It was the ultimate waste of $75 and of a day off from work. The repair man was not rude at all.
Great service and attention
I had a very sick clothes dryer. After a visit it was determined that I needed new rollers and a new belt. My dryer was an Asko product and it took many calls and great effort to find the parts. Upon returning to make the repair, the technician discovered that the stainless steel drum was cracked. I was given the telephone numbers to call customer service and all parts were returned with no cost to me. I recommend Appliance Master to anyone.
Service Call
On time arrival. Thorough inspection of the washer and provided detailed information of the proper operation of the equipment. Very satisfied.
Prompt and efficient
When I called I was scheduled for the very next day. The tech arrived as scheduled, was very personable and efficient. He explained the problem and completed the job quickly.
Maytag washer not fixed
I called Appliance Masters based on a previous VERY SATISFYING repair job on our Maytag washer and dryer after a flood in our basement, where the appliances are located, due to a super storm.
This time the washer was stopping in mid-cycle after a loud sound of the motor struggling and a smell of burning. It, however, started again after some time to cool off.
The repairman came and diagnosed the problem as a timer fault. I was relieved that it was not the motor because I know it would have been expensive. But it still cost $300.00! I though OK, if it fixes the problem, great. The repairman said that my fears were not warranted as the motor sounded fine when he turned on the washer to test it. He ordered the part and when it came, installed it. Thinking all was repaired, to my disappointment, this time the washer REFUSED TO CHANGE CYCLE, from wash to rinse, to spin. It just stayed in one cycle. The repairman returned and said that the timer was probably the wrong model and came back with a different timer to replace the previous one. IT WORKED, BUT only after one full wash. A second wash produced the original problem of stoppage mid-wash after a loud sound of struggling motor and burning smell. Again, after waiting some time to cool off, the machine started again and completed the wash. The repairman returned and helped us stabilize the machines which were perched on 4 x 4 wood to lift them off the floor in case of flooding again. I thought perhaps this imbalance was causing the washer to shake so much during spinning that the motor shut itself off. Nope, it did not correct the problem. The drum still vibrated during draining and spinning cycles. He returned again and this time opened up the front to inspect the drum. He could not find anything to repair and closed it up and reported that it must be that the motor needs replacement for $350.00. This was my original fear and I thought, if this was the case he had misdiagnosed the original problem and I paid for a part that DID NOT have to be replaced. Now the real cause would cost double! I told him we might as well buy a new washer which he could have said from the beginning.
My request is that since the washer was NOT FIXED, I should be reimbursed some of the cost of the repair job. I am willing to pay the labor cost of the first visit by the repairman but feel that I should be reimbursed at least $200.00 for the part that never really needed to be changed. I am now out of $300.00 with a washer that needs to be replaced.
Excellent service.....but
My range was repaired and service was excellent. Cost to replace an igniter $244. The second appliance I requested service for was my washer. The spin cycle sound was that of a jet plane. The vibration horrible. My service provider moved my dryer over a few inches and the vibration lessened dramatically. That was the extent of the repair. I was charged $59.99, the initial charge for the second appliance. Very disappointed by that charge.
Very Unprofessional and does not honor what they say.
If I could rate no stars if I could. I have been trying to get my dishwasher fixed for over two months now. The first part they ordered didn't fix the problem. I asked the tech to check it before he left and he didn't. I immediately called them back and told them the issue. They had to send out the tech again. First the tech said the part they sent was defective and then said I needed a new part after they made me watch why it wasn't that part. They changed their minds. We agreed to a negotiated rate and when it came time to honor the rate they wouldn't. Now they won't fix my dishwasher. By the time I am done paying them I could have bought a new one.

I would recommend Appliance Master for a refrigerator repair. The technician Chandler was prompt, polite snd fixed the problem quickly. He explained how to prevent the probkem in the future and cleaned up work area.
Have been using Appliance Master for years
I've lived in this old house for over 30 years so have had need of Appliance Master's services several times. They've always been prompt and professional. They've been able to "nurse back to health" most of my aging appliances.
I believe their prices to be very fair!

Wearing Proper Attire for Work!
The service was okay but it would have gone a bit easier if the technician had kept his pants properly worn and not able to see his underwear the whole time. He had his pants on way below his underwear half way down his butt crack.
This I consider to be distasteful and out of line for coming into a clients home dressed in this fashion. If I had taken the time I would have taken a picture of this action but didn't get the chance.
