I have so far been very happy with my experience with Appliances of America. A lot of that has to do with the most charming Billy. He has been wonderful about keeping me appraised of developments on my order. Also, like most people I shopped around and not only did you have the best prices but more! Free delivery and no tax were wonderful. But, the best thing for us was the ability to have our order held until our new house was ready, and there's where Billy really came in. He made sure to let me know when the appliances would come in, and when they would ship. Then he followed up with me today to let me know when they would arrive and what the procedure would be.
Every time I have spoken with him has been a pleasure! He is helpful and fun, and always makes me feel I can call at any time.
I'm very excited to receive my new appliances! And if the finish of our transaction is as smooth and easy as dealing with Billy has been, it'll be great!

I bought a high end slide in oven/range from Appliances of America and I have to tell you there prices are the best out there without question. Also their customer service rep, Billy, was able to answer all of my questions . Very polite and knowledgable. First things first: I can confirm that all the following information is 100% true and can also give evidence of this.

The Better Business Bureau (BBB) have an alert on Appliances Of America and have scored it F (the worst score possible). It's not hard to imagine why.

I would suggest reading the reviews on their website before you interact with this company. From day one my experience has been nothing short of appalling.

After waiting and waiting for my $1500 fridge to arrive after it's scheduled date I decided to contact the company. It's near impossible to reach anyone - I was unsuccessful in getting any response after left messages and emails. I read a little more about them online and discovered other customers were experiencing similar problems. I contacted my bank and put the payment into dispute. I rang Appliances of America one last time and left a message informing them of what I'd done and that I no longer required their services.

Within 5 minutes I received a call back from a representative who was extremely combative, aggressive and sarcastic from the outset and for the whole lengthy conversation. During the calI tried to have them confirm that my order was cancelled and I wanted a refund. Amongst other things, the representative sarcastically stated that as I live in Vegas it would be a "roll of the dice" whether I got a full refund. I have this conversation recorded should the company refute this.

After various communications over the next couple of days I finally got a verbal confirmation that they would refund in two weeks.

It's now over 6 weeks later and this is still ongoing. I've had a couple of interactions with the same representative again in which they offered more excuses as to why I haven't received a refund. The latest one was that they are waiting for a "transaction ID" from the accounts department. When I stated over the phone that I hoped this would be a short wait he replied "We can hope...".

In essence, I would simply advise anyone who asks, not deal with this company in any capacity. Do not order from them. The catalogue of excuses I was given as to why they couldn't a) deliver on time and then b) refund MY money was breathtaking. In my opinion, this 'operation' is dishonest and unprofessional, and undoubtedly the worst company I have ever dealt with.

UPDATE: I never received that refund from Appliances of America. My bank credited my account and agreed with me that this company acted fraudulently. Once again, do not deal with this company.

I placed an online order to Appliances of America on July 27, 2015 (Order # W8256). $3,494.00 was immediately deducted from my banking account. It is nearly impossible to speak to anyone there. It took them three months to let us know our item had been discontinued. We then canceled our order and was told it would take 2-4 weeks for reimbursement. It’s been 4 months and we don’t have a refrigerator or our money. Please check them out on the BBB (Better Business Bureau) website.

Great price excellent service and honest advice

Appliances of America was significantly less than all other websites I visited. With no tax and free shipping, I was very happy when I made my purchase. However, the timing didn't go as planned. I thought I would be getting my appliances in 3-4 weeks, but it turned out being 10 weeks due to high demand during the Labor Day sales. We didn't need the appliances right away, but I actually had to call to figure out when they were supposed to come. When I had a hard time reaching someone I started getting concerned, but when I finally got through to Billy he offered to extend my warranty by a year to make up for the miscommunication. If I had to do it all again, I would definitely purchase from Appliances of America.

Purchased 4 appliances on 6/24. I found them cheaper locally so I called to cancel my order. Mr customer service offered a price match and said I would get a check for the difference after appliances were delivered. I received the appliances on 7/16. Called to get my refund check and I was told I would get it by 8/4. Check never came. I called on 9/24 and was told I would get the check by 10/30. Still no check. Called on 11/4 and again was promised a check that I am now waiting for. Mr customer service continues to make excuses for why I haven't received the check and each time says it takes 30 more days to get it. Please read all reviews and not just the good ones. Mr customer service asks for reviews to be written even before you receive your items so the transaction isn't even complete. I will update this if I ever receive the money I was promised.

After ordering a Samsung gas range, I got an immediate response from Billy Jackson informing me of a back order on that range and an offer to switch to an equivalent. Billy is professional and easy to talk to, makes me encouraged I ordered thru Appliances of America. There was no pressure to accept the change, just a delay, which we can handle. If the rest of the team is as comfortable as Billy, I will definitely be recommending Appliances of America!

I called to check on the status of my order and Billy Jackson was very helpful in finding out the status and helping with ensuring the expedited service I needed and added extra warranty for our oven which is also very helpful. Thanks for great service and pricing, we will definitely include Appliances of America in future appliance purchase research and decisions.

I was surprised at how exciting buying a refrigerator could be, I am happy with the price, but the service was exceptional. I am telling all my friends and letting them know about Billy and the company that he represents, thanks Billy, my next appliance will be purchased from you also. Does your company have a catalog I can show to my friends, and could you open a store in Cleveland, Ohio, we need companies like yours locally.

Billy helped my order for a gas oven. He personally followed up with me to confirm my order and special needs. He had a great sense of guest serive. It was great to have a business with a person like Billy.

Appliances of America won me over. A Samsung range over that is currently priced at Home Depo & Lowe's for $2449, I got for $1545. Thanks Appliances of America.

Billy was awesome at helping me get what I needed, He was very polite and knowledgeable with the products, I would do business over and over with him and his company.

Went to a bunch of other websites after pricing kitchen items at local retail stores onky to find that they didnt have the answers i was looking for. I found appliances of America online and gave it a shot. I called and spoke with Billy and they had walked me through all the kitchen items i needed to fit my new kitchen design. I placed the order and within 10 days i received a call from the shipping ccompany that my order was ready to be delivered. We scheduled a time, they brought the pieces into my home, un wrapped it, inspected it, all in 100% working order and fit exactly where i needed them to go with out having to call my contractor. All in all, great price and better experience!

Appliances of America was not my first choice when I began my shopping for a new electric range and range hood. I was so disappointed with the first company I ordered with I cancelled my order.

My experience with Appliances of America has been drastically better. Their website was easily navigated. I found the items I was looking for and placed my order. Checkout procedures were straight forward and worked great.

Really, I was lucky the first company didn't work out. Appliances of America had a better price on my higher priced item and a comparable price for my other item.

I had a question about a week after I placed my order and called Appliances of America. I got an automated system telling me everyone was busy and to leave a massage. I left a massage and to my surprise, in about 15 minutes Billy Jackson, a rep of Appliances of America, called me back. Billy readily answered my question satisfactorily. He gave me his extension no. if I needed to call again. He was courteous and genuinely glad to be of assistance.

The next time I need appliances the first place I'll look is Appliances of America.

Easy user-friendly website. I was able to make my purchase fast and accurately. I immediately received a confirmation that my order went through along with an email confirmation and a follow-up phone call from Billy J. He truly went out of his way to make sure he had answered all of my questions/concerns in regards to my order. He was professional and polite. He knew his product & website well and really extended a helping hand with anything I would need in the future as my go-to sales guy. I appreciate him connecting with me one-on-one. I spoke with Billy today regarding my order for a refrigerator. Though I have yet to receive the item, Billy was very pleasant and knowledgeable. He assured me of the delivery time frame (ships in 3-4 weeks; about 1 week in transit) which will work fine for me.
Best price I found on the internet for the item I was looking for too!

I ran out of time waiting for my order so i had to cancel and they assured me that i will recieve full refund within 7-10 days... i will change review to five stars as soon as i get email verifying that the order has been cancelled and will be recieving full refund and will write another review when i recieve full refund back... i placed my order on oct 29 2015 and was promised delivery within 15 to 20 days and nothing so i called and they said order should ship out nov 27...then heard nothing called again nov 30 and they guarnteed me 1000% that my order would ship out dec 4th which again it did not ship ... i called today and they told me that it MIGHT ship out on dec 11th...so i decided to cancel my order... im very skeptical about recieving my refund... because of the reviews on the bbb website..

Billy J. in sales was very helpful on answering all my questions about my order. He even gave me extra incentives because of the waiting period of my order. I haven't yet received my product yet, but once I do i bet i will be buying from Appliances of America again.

I left a message for Billy to call me back about ordering some appliances for my daughter, within about 15-20 mins he called back and we discussed what she was looking for, Samsung Washer/Dryer combo and a Whirlpool microwave. He was extremely courteous and very helpful, the pricing he offered was the best that I could find and so we ordered everything. Again, Billy called me back later to make sure that both and my daughter were happy with our transaction, I thanked him and assured him that I would spread the word among my friends and would do business again with him when we are ready to buy new appliances.
