The review below is incorrect, they had me fouled. They do not stand by their commitments, Billy will tell you what ever it takes to get you hooked in. Once they get your money be ready wait, to wait for a LONG time for any form of service.... STAY AWAY... I ended up filing a claim with my bank to retrieve my money...

I had the pleasure of working with both Sean and Billy and oh boy, talk about MILITARY APPREATION, these two gentlemen took it to the next level. Not only where their prices lower than the sale prices of online or in store competitors, but they also offered me an additional “Military/Appreciation Discount” on top of that. The skill set of professionalism and strive for customer satisfaction has definitely open my eyes as to what some of these other big named companies are missing, the mission to take the time to meet the needs of the customer by reinforcing the acknowledgement that the customer comes first. Sean and Billy I would like to personally SALUTE YOU and reassure you, that you have found yourself a new life time costumer for the years to come! Thanks again for the GREAT service…..

In my search for a new refrigerator to go in my family's new home I found that appliancesofamerica had the one we wanted for at least 400 bucks less than anyone else. I promptly purchased it and called their number to see if it could be delivered on a specific day since we were moving to a new home. I spoke with Billy and he explained the process and that it would be an extra fee to specify delivery date. This makes sense and the total price is still well below the other companies. Ultimately, i couldn't get the fridge delivered in the 2 day window required. I called Billy, who can't speed up the shipment of course, but he tried everything he could to make it right. He was willing to drop the delivery charge, offered a free warranty and more to try to keep my business. If it was anything besides a refrigerator i would have just waited. I needed somewhere to put my food for the move so I was forced to go to a big box store that was more expensive, but could deliver in my specific time constraint. If you want exceptional customer service and personal interaction and great prices, check this site out. I went with a different company due to time, and not money. Billy had the best price by hundreds of dollars, so definitely worth a look!

What a delightful experience speaking with the gentleman at Appliances of America today! He made the purchase process very simple, and did a great job of explaining the extra options that are available. He absolutely understands customer service and building customer relationships, and he excels in both of those! I would highly recommend Appliances of America. They are now my new best friends!! I will admit, I've often paid more for things online by using nationally recognized big box companies, but when I needed a new fridge/freezer recently I really wanted to get the best deal I could for the best product. I searched high and low over several days and kept coming back to Appliances of America. Any reservations I had about a lesser known company were swept away by the incredible customer service I received (I immediately got a human being on the other end of the phone each time I called - imagine that?!) and the swift and professional delivery of my appliance. Everything went so smoothly that I don't know why I would have paid several hundred dollars more elsewhere. I've found my new appliance shop!

Billy Jack and Appliance of America were extremely pleasant to work with. Billy went the extra mile to make sure all my needs were met when I had questions or concerns with my order/appliance. Exceptional customer service that look out for their customers....Highly recommended!

After dealing with the frustration of cleaning up after my 10-year-old Frigidaire refrigerator stopped working two nights ago, I then had to spend hours looking for one that would fit my small kitchen. The LXFS24663S seemed like the right one although it was more than what I had planned on spending. However, the reviews for it were better than those of other comparable fridges, so I thought it would be worth the extra cost. In looking for a reputable appliance store, I came across Appliances of America, which, surprisingly, also offered it for one of the cheapest prices online. I decided to buy it from A of A after reading other customers' reviews of the company. I did not want to deal with the hassle of bad customer service, and Billy lived up to his online reputation when I spoke with him. I outlined exactly what I needed, including expedited shipping, haul away of old fridge, and installation, and Billy quoted me all the extra charges in a friendly and professional manner. He was very patient in recalculating the price when I asked him to take out something so that I wouldn't go too over budget. I look forward to the delivery of my new fridge so that I can determine the expertise and professionalism of the technicians installing it. I hope that Appliances of America will be a company that takes very good care of its customers from start to finish. Then, I will not have to waste hours shopping around when I have to replace my range and dishwasher when the time comes. I can just rely on A of A to give me competitive prices with extraordinary service.

I recently completed a large kitchen renovation which required new appliances and I was feeling a bit deflated by the ever expanding costs of the project, including quotes given by a designer for some local appliance vendors. I decided to go out to the web to do some research on my own to see if I could find some better options and to stretch our savings a bit and came across the Appliances of America site and found what I would still call a steal of a deal on a fantastic fridge. Much nicer than even local vendors and for a huge cost savings versus others. Saved a ton of money even shipping from out of state and without sacrificing the functionality and aesthetics for what we were looking for. Great door-to-door delivery and experience, customer service, and awesome high end fridge at a budget price! Highly recommend AoA and will definitely be shopping there again when we have future appliance needs.

Over the past few weeks I have had the pleasure of speaking to Irene many times. She answers the phone at Appliances of America and is a delight to speak to. She is very helpful, kind, and super efficient at her job.
She made me feel as though she was my best friend and would do anything to help me. She is one of a kind for sure. I hope this review will be shown to her so she understands what a wonderful person she is.

I was searching online for a new stove/range for my kitchen and came across Appliances of America in my searches. I liked that they offered free shipping but the price was a little more than I found at another online retailer. Because they offer a price match, I sent in a request and Billy called me. He was willing to match the price without any hesitation. In addition, he was very knowledgable about the appliance and offered great insight! This is something I wouldn't have received had I made the purchase through the online retailer. We had a few discussions by phone and Billy was very quick to return my phone calls and answer any questions. His personal attention will have me looking to Appliances of America first for any future needs!

Initially we couldn't get through on the phone, but once we did the customer service was great! Once I contacted Irene and Billy I was well on my way to resolving my own refrigerator error in ordering; and getting the fridge I really needed and wanted.

My initial interaction with Appliances of America was very positive. They seemed to be very customer focused and friendly. I ordered a $2,100 cooktop/oven on 8/9/15. They notified me at the time that I should receive an email within couple of weeks confirming shipping info. After several weeks passed with no notificaton - I called them back. They informed me that the merchandise had been delivered to their warehouse, but it had been damaged - so it would be another week or so before they could get a new one in. Again, a few weeks passed with no word from Appliances of America. I called again to get an update and they informed me that due to a religious holiday - there was another delay and I should now expect notification from them on 10/16/15 with shipping information. I called them on 10/16/15 since I still had not heard from them. They assured me that I would have an e-mail from them before the end of the day with shipping info. On 10/19/15 - I had still not received any shipping info - so I was forced to file a dispute witih my bank over merchandise never received.

To summarize, I ordered merchandise on 8/9/15. They charged my credit card for the full purchase amount on 8/10/15. It is now October 19th and I still am no closer to receiving my merchandise than I was 10 weeks ago when I ordered it (and paid for it).

Billy was SUPER helpful with my order today!! He went above and beyond to help me figure out options for shipping my order. He even called me back with alternate delivery options! I would for sure do business with him and his company again as well as recommended to friends and family.

Waited FIVE WEEKS for a microwave and it arrived damaged. Going on three months now from original date of purchase and I still don't have the appliance. The salesperson that I dealt with is a smooth talker that tells you what you want to hear but that is as far as it goes. I have requested a refund and am going to buy the appliance from a legitimate dealer. I looked up their address on Google streets. It looks like a used appliance store with a different name. Should have gone with my gut. Avoid these guys!

In placing my order, Billy was friendly, comedic, and helpful. I look forward to receiving my products and seeing the quality of service that Appliances of America provides upon delivery.

I placed an order online 7/15 and patiently waited for the shipping information. After 10 days there was still nothing online so I was forced to wait on hold for over 20 minutes to speak to someone. Once I finally reached a person who clearly doesn't care to handle customer issues, he explained that it could take up to month to receive or I could pay for expedited shipping...which would get it shipped within 7 days. 10 days later it still hasn't shipped and another 30 minute wait later no one can give me any information about when it will actually ship...I would have been well worth the extra $ 800 to buy from a reputable company locally.

Though, I still don't have a ship date for the fridge. I did receive a call from Billy Jackson who said it would ship on the 15th-21st and offered to refund me the expedite fee and honor the 5 year warranty as well as the white glove delivery. I may not have had a good experience at first but they have corrected it, so I certainly need to give them credit for that.

When I initially tried to order a barbecue grill on line from Appliances of America, there were some issues with the process. However, when I was able to contact Appliances of America directly and particularly their sales representative Billy Jackson the process went very smoothly. Billy was very helpful in sorting out my issues, and even worked with my son for whom we ordered the grill, to make sure it was the color he wanted. The way they do business is great, the basic good old fashioned way!

I will buy all my appliances from here forever, Billy was extremely knowledgeable and efficient, helped me place my order in a few minutes, price was unbeatable anywhere! thank you

Pros:
* Appliance of America reps are nice on the phone
* Price is outrageously cheap
Cons:
* Despite repeated confirmation, there was a miscommunication of when to expect appliances from when they were released to shipping. We went 2 extra weeks without appliances after our kitchen remodel was complete.
* The AofA reps did not catch that the downdraft I ordered was NOT compatible with the range I ordered. This caused several hundred dollars in reworking cabinets. (Fortunately we caught the issue before granite was templated.)
* Shipping company was a mess. We stayed home all Saturday waiting for the delivery and received a call at 9pm at night stating that their truck broke down. We didn’t receive the order for another 4 days. Additionally, when I called to check on the order, the phone reps were gruff and hard to understand with an extremely long wait time.
In summary, the price was so cheap it was worth the hassle. If I had it to do over again, I would have asked my contractor to review the appliance order with the manufacturer directly. I also would have released my appliances MUCH earlier so it didn’t hold up finishing the kitchen by an extra two weeks.

Came across Appliance of America while searching for a GE Cafe cooktop. Couldn't believe the price compared to the big box stores and other online sites. Called in and got ahold of Billy who was extremely helpful and easy to work with. Appliances of America and Billy will be my first stop next time I'm in the market for appliances.

I called Appliances of America to confirm some info on their products and spoke to Billy Jackson. He was extremely helpful and informative! Their prices were the best anywhere, no sales tax and free shipping! I normally don't get extended warranties but since I was spending over $1,500 on a refrigerator! They are the only company I know of that refunds 1/2 your warranty money if you never use it. I will be doing all my future appliance and electronic shopping with them!
