Lemon in my living room
Aside from the whole sales and installation nightmare, while the technicians are very courteous, this lift has been repaired more times than I can count. It was installed 8 months ago, so it's still under warranty, but it is very seldom used and we end up calling for repairs almost every time we try to use it. Now that I need it, it's down AGAIN. Lemons happen and I think we got one. Last time it was a loose wire. Another time it was switches incorrectly set at the factory. Our church was looking at buying one. We told them to pass on this. Our builder who brought them in won't put them in anyone else's house. I'm going to be stuck with, and at some point, in, a $65000 piece of junk eating up my living room

We had a fantastic experience with Arrow Lift, and their chair lift has truly been a game changer in our home. While we don’t currently need to use it for riding, it has already proven to be incredibly useful for safely transporting items up and down from the basement. What used to be a hassle—and sometimes even a risk—is now simple and convenient.
The installation process was smooth, and the team was professional, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. They made sure everything was set up perfectly and took the time to explain how it all works.
What we really appreciate is knowing that the chair lift is already in place for the future. It gives us peace of mind that when the time comes to use it for mobility, we’ll be fully prepared. They didn’t know that in Rossmoor you…
They didn’t know that in Rossmoor you must get a Walnut Creek permit for anything you do. And that is included in the price it made for some anxiety. The lift works well, but the back is sort of tilted toward me and it’s quite hard.

While a city-issued permit is almost never required to install a stair lift in a private residence, it sounds like in your case the HOA Board for Rossmoor Walnut Creek required what they call an "alteration permit." Unfortunately, these kinds of requirements can vary quite a bit between different communities, and it's not possible for us to review every client's HOA documents, but we do appreciate the frustration you must have felt.
We also appreciate your feedback about the seat comfort and positioning. That’s not a typical concern, and we’d welcome the chance to take a closer look and see if any adjustments can be made to improve how it feels for you. We want to make sure you are fully satisfied, so please do feel free to give us a call if you’d like to discuss further.
