Ascent Bicycle Avis 

From the customer service team not responding to dozens of emails over a months time or helping from their text message system to a seat that doesn’t retrofit to our bike it was one of the most terrible interactions I’ve had with a company I purchased from in a very long time.

I was finally able to get my first ride in with this new seat, it was AMAZING! The seat is extremely comfortable and made riding my bike easier.

Shipping thru the post office was aweful.

I haven't had a long ride as yet. The ride i did have was a pleasurable experience. Looking forward to many rides in the future. Now I know ill have little or no trouble as I did before.

Haven't had a long ride but the short ride was very comfortable. I'd give it a 9/10.

I was a little skeptical at first now 234 miles in and it’s getting better it’s just now getting comfortable and it’s going need more then 30 day trial to see how good it really is.

Finally rode my e-mountain bike yesterday with the Ascent Sport+ saddle that I received 2 weeks ago. I did 12 miles and 2,339 feet of elevation gain along technical terrain (roots and rocks). I am thrilled to report that my derrière and back are not sore. This is very unusual for a technical ride of this distance and elevation. I could feel the difference as soon as I got on my bike—softness but still supportive, and I expect that the seat will get even more comfortable with each ride due to the memory foam.

I got both the wider and the narrow style saddle for two different bikes. One a gravel and one a hybrid. Both are improvements from my Bontr seats. I would say if you re a bit heavy like me the wider saddle is nice for longer trips.

The product was good and service was alright

So far the saddle has been great! I thought it was soft at first but its really nice. Still working on the nose angle. I've ridden a little over 100mi since I got it. Will definitely get one for the fat tire and the road bike.

I’ve been using the Ascent 2.0 bike saddle for a couple of weeks now, and it’s definitely getting more comfortable as it breaks in. At first I wasn’t sure about it, but after several rides I’m noticeably less sore than I was with my old seat. It’s supportive without being too soft, and it’s made my rides much more enjoyable. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because there was a break-in period, but overall I’m happy with the purchase and would recommend it to anyone looking for a more comfortable saddle.

Seems comfortable only 3 short rides on it and the 3rd i was cut hit by a car can't ride now but the seat looks like it survived and should make it on a new bike when the time comes

It is a great seat. I was using a Fizik seat that came with my titanium bike. I had the bike serviced and the technician told me he loved my bike but hated my seat. I decided to make a switch. Glad I did. The Ascent Bike Seat is much more comfortable on my gravel bike. The racing style was perfect for my 75-year-old frame.

I love the seat. I did email a few times about the status of my delivery, after a couple of weeks, before I got a response but eventually Ascent did get back to me ironically on the same day the seat was delivered. All good.

Ascent cheated me out of $20.00. I ordered a bike phone holder along with saddle. Saddle took a month to get. I haven’t recieved my phone holder as of yet and it’s been 2 months now. They kept asking me to take pictures of packages or damaged items. This last time they asked if I took a video or pictures of opening my saddle when I recieved it. They do not refund lost merchandise. They are a very poor company to deal with

after 10 years of same seat on my bike it was time to replace it(gel was breaking down/Sticky) so I bit the online offer to try Assent. Did not disappoint. I did take it to shop to install, No charge. I only had to adjust to get used to smaller size but the last few rides are getting better!

The Ascent bike saddle was a significant improvement over the saddles I was using. much less pain in the nether regions.

First before testning I thought it was too soft, but after some rides (mtb trail) and one 4 hour ride I realised it was just perfect, no pain, no numbness, no tingling/loss of feel in the back. Could easily take a ride on my city bike later the same day without pain. Great stuff - recommended!

Bought it because the original saddle on my bike left my hips so sore & stiff I couldn’t function. No more

Saddle easy to install and it is a significant improvement over the seat that came with my Aventon Level 2. Too soon to comment on durability.
