Great service, great communication, compulsive attention to detail, treats your car as if it were his own. Andy fitted an Integrated Automotive CarPlay upgrade kit into my 2015 Audi A1 and I cannot speak highly enough of both.

I wanted to get 360 camera installed in my 2017 Q7and found Andy through the forums. Andy was very thorough and professional from beginning to end. I also added a ghostII immobilizer in the service I opted from Andy. He clearly explained the timelines of when the parts would arrive, when he could do the job and kept me updated all along so that I am in the know without me having to chase him for any updates!
On the day I dropped my car off at his garage and he dropped me at the train station! Nothing was too much trouble for him and he even fixed some issues not related to camera install that he found during installing the 360 camera install.
After the job is complete Andy took time to explain all the features of the hardware he installed, how to enable, disable ghost, valet mode and applied for the tassa installation certificate which came in two days after.

First time visiting Andy yesterday but I am so glad I found him and I wouldn’t hesitate to go back or recommend him. From first contact via email Andy was incredibly friendly and helpful, taking the time to explain things clearly. Yesterday when I went to get the work done he couldn’t have been more accommodating, he took exceptional care of my car (I’m fussy and always a bit fearful of letting someone do work on it, not an issue with Andy!), and the work was carried out flawlessly and quickly. He also very kindly tracked down an annoying rattle in the roof area that had been driving me mad, diligently disassembling (and reassembling!) the entire upper console to find the random bit of broken plastic that was bouncing around (which started after a windscreen replacement - thanks well-known auto glass replacement company!). If you’ve found Andy and think he may be able to help you, don’t hesitate to contact him - you won’t be disappointed!

Got 360 cameras and ambient lighting fitted in. Andy kept me informed of his progress from start to finish. He did a brilliant job and I am really happy with how everything turned out.

During a service and MOT my local Audi dealer decided to upgrade the ECU software, without my permission. I normally sign the waiver as I know how bad the update is and Audi leave the cars software alone
The dreaded 30E3 update that removes the cracks and pops and renders the Sport exhaust button nigh on worthless. If you want to quickly fall out of love with your Audi (mines a ttrs) then allow Audi to plonk this update on your car.

Anyway after speaking to a few tuners, who said that they wouldn't be able to roll back the software I received a private message from a member on the TT forum, who said to try Audi Upgrades .

I contacted Andy and he asked for the cars VIN number to see if he could role back the update. Process was quick and I took the car to Andy yesterday who rolled back the cars ECU.
It's a pity that Andy didn't video my reaction when he first started the car after the roll back, as I just started laughing and smiling as the car is now back to how it was.
The 308E update is not required for the UK market, as it was brought in for the German market as any car without the update will fail its mot in Germany after February of this year. The funny thing is though, after Audi plonked the update on my car, its still as loud in Dynamic but the car just didn't seem right. Car sounded like it was stuck in gear for far too long, so dare fuel consumption and wear and tear would have been worse with it left on the car. Something I mentioned to Audi service manager. And also you lose the amount of pops and f@rts whilst driving it. Auto is nigh pointless with the update as it doesn't seem to work either. The only way you can get the sports exhaust button on the console to work is to chose Dynamic and sport, which seems to hold the gears for too long, so it looks like and sounds like you are reeving the car for too long and don't know how to change gears.
Audi service centres cannot rewind the 308E, hence this is where Andy comes in.

Overall more than happy with the service from Audi Upgrades. Had a few other add options added. MMI update with maps and am now not looking at selling the vehicle as I had even listed it with a certain website that makes you go wow about cars after the Audi update. It really is that bad. And as mentioned to Audi, If I didn't want the sound of the RS I could have saved myself thousands when first purchasing it by going for a TT without the Spec.

My advice is never ever accept this update from a dealer during a service as you will fall out of love with your car the very first time you start it after Audi's tinkering. And if the dealer is crafty and places it on your car score them a zero on the customer survey as that way Audi UK should be in touch (friend used to work in the trade) and then you will have to visit a tuner to put right. As mentioned I spoke to about 3 other tuners who said that they couldn't revert the update only for Audi Upgrades to say no problem and work carried out yesterday 10/01/24

Top notch service and would be getting 10 out of 10 if that was an option on here

Andy retrofitted a rear view camera last October to my C7 RS6.
He kept me informed on parts arrival in the run up to the installation date, and on the day it was a pleasure to see him work, and chat to him whilst he fitted the camera.
He was even kind enough to accomodate me earlier than anticipated to allow me to take the car on a weekend break we'd booked.
He clearly knows his way around these cars, and each panel and fixing was removed and replaced with care like it was his own vehicle - which if you're as OCD as I am - is exactly what you want!

I've used a LOT of different garages and so-called specialists in my time as a car enthusiast, and I'm not one to dish out praise for average service.
With that in mind, I would honestly say that if you want retrofits professionally carried out with expert care and attention, and at a reasonable price, you cannot go wrong with Audi Upgrades.

Andy even followed up with me twice post-installation (un-prompted) just to ensure everything was still working as expected.
Modern companies could definitely learn a lot from his customer service! Thoroughly recommended.

I had my Q3 front parking sensors retro fitted with one of Audi upgrades partner business and Andy helped with the coding remotely. Andy was very professional and his knowledge of cars is outstanding, providing his expertise in getting the front sensors working as if they were fitted in the factory.

A great first experience with Audi Upgrades (VAG wide).

Andy really knows his stuff and is very approachable with it. I personally think Andy has pitched his service right. He's not trying to "over offer" across all manufacturers and he knows where his skills, expertise and offerings lie.

(+) Don't expect to contact on Monday and be seen on Tuesday, Audi Upgrades are busy. Busy is good. Busy means customers are going back time and time again (customers that in some cases are travelling from overseas).

I'll be returning for sure.

Andy's expertise and skill in performing all the required programming and fitment is second to none, but more importantly, his service is exceptional, and nothing is too much trouble. Having dealt with a number of people in this type of work over the years, Andy is by far the best, and nicest person I've used for upgrade work. This was the third time visiting Andy and his service and dedication is second to none. He went out his way to research a retrofit that he had never done before nor did we know if it was entirely possible. This shows his true dedication and passion to the job. When we arrived, he talks you through the process, lets you help when needed and overall it just an all round good guy. When one retrofit did not go to plan, he tried alternatives and found other solutions to make sure me as the customer was left satsified. Again this was from his own time and hard work. Will hopefully be seeing Andy again in 2024.

Just completed some retrofits to my Audi A8 2017 and Andy completed them with success even if some of them were impossible to do. I have been to different garages before but no one could do it. Repeat trip to see Andy

Had a few small issues with the car and didn’t know where to start-

Took it to see him and in ten minutes he had diagnosed all the faults - ( parts of original factory software missing - non idea how he located that as totally unrelated to the visual fault.) - but he did

Also stripped out half the interior - rewired a faulty cable , made me a coffee and had it put back together quicker than I can tie my laces -

Can’t recommend this guy enough-
So good I do a 320 mile round trip to get work done - and still save money-
You won’t find better -

Absolutely amazing is how I would describe my experience with Audi Upgrades. I wanted to upgrade the standard monochrome instrument cluster of my Audi Q2 with the colour version (which is offered as an option from factory) and from the moment I first contacted Andy until the job was completed, the whole experience was just simply amazing. The communication, openness and dedication from Andy was simply first class, he really does treat your car as if it was his own. The job was completed over two visits, the first to prepare the car for the new cluster and the second to do the cluster swap - his setup is really nice, you can sit on a sofa with a drink, free WiFi and watch Andy do his magic. He keeps you constantly updated on what he is doing, is happy to answer any of your questions and, if interested, happy to show you and discuss with you the more technical aspects of the retrofit - it truly is a pleasure to be there! No doubt I will be back to future retrofits.

Had my SQ7 in with Andy to have the front driver and passenger memory seat function fitted to the car. He couldn't have been more helpful from start to finish. The level of communication from order acceptance to delivery to instal date was all on point. I couldn't fault Andy in anyway at all and would certainly recommend to others needing work done. I will certainly not need to look for anyone else when the time comes for my next upgrade.
