Beautiful chocolates

Birthday treat for Wife
What can I say more than ‘beautiful’. I ordered the penguin, prickle of hedgehogs, coconut ice and tipsy partridge in a pear tree. Everything is packaged so cute and all made a lovely gift for a chocolate lover. I’ve recommended to our friends because the chocolate is just ‘truly scrumptious’. I won’t hesitate to order more goods from Audreys’s, especially if shopping for a special gift addition. Thank you to the Audrey’s Team ps quick delivery too ♥️

Just meh

Just meh. I placed an order for a boxed assortment to be delivered. The packaging was beautiful, but because there weren't separators inside the box between the chocolates, the contents of the box had been tossed about and most of the chocolates had come out of their paper wrappers. I also found the chocolates to be of mediocre quality. A lot of the chocolate was grainy, as if it hadn't been tempered properly, and the fillings were bland. Maybe some of this is due to the Christmas rush.

Each box is packed by hand and while we take great care to protect the chocolates in transit, it sounds like this one may have been shaken during delivery. We’ve also noted your comments about texture and flavour our chocolates are made in small batches with freshly tempered couverture, but we’ll review your feedback carefully with our chocolatiers, especially during this busy Christmas period. Absolutely delicious high quality…

Absolutely delicious high quality chocolate with beautiful packaging. Selected a pick your own selection. The box contained 2 sets of chocolates that we didn't choose and a set we couldn't identify as it wasn't on enclosed card. Possibly close to Christmas they have low stock?

Ordered my first box

Ordered my first box. The Audreys team were wonderful when I didn't receive my package initially, and they ordered a re-send. I found it slightly irksome that the Parcelforce service required a signature. It's a box of chocolates not a Rolex watch.

The chocolates were in a tiny sky blue box, much smaller than I'd anticipated. The chocolates looked delightful inside and they certainly tasted 'high class' - not the sort of chocs you'd buy from a high street shop. I chose a selection of Milk Chocolate Rose, Violet and Lemon fondants.

The biggest problem for me was the sugar content. I found all of the three flavours much too sweet, to the point that I could discern a massive sugar rush to my head after nibbling and savouring just one. For that reason alone, I am unlikely to order another box from Audreys even though I enjoyed the flavours very much - especially the Rose chocs. Unfortunately. I don't like dark chocolate, even though it is likely to have less sugar, so that is not an option either.

We are very sorry for the inconvenience with your delivery and completely understand your frustration about needing to sign for a small parcel. The signature service is intended to keep parcels safe in transit, but your feedback is helpful as we review our delivery options, particularly for smaller orders.

Your comments about the sweetness are also valuable, as everyone’s palate is different and it is important for us to understand how our fondants come across. Our rose, violet and lemon creams are made in a traditional style that is naturally quite sweet however we understand that everyone has different preferences so we're sorry you didn't enjoy the sugar content.

Hello, I recently gave Audrey 1 star because my chocolates had not arrived. They arrived the next day. I apologise to the whole team at Audrey’s. The chocolates were simply amazing. Thank you and if you can tell me how to remove my 1 star I will happily to do and definitely place a new order in time Christmas

The chocolates arrived on the second rearranged date as promised and the gentleman was thrilled with the chocolates and said how beautiful they are and was very impressed with the presentation box, I wish to thank you all at Audreys for making his birthday very special.

Mouthwatering chocs and a local company…

Mouthwatering chocs and a local company to me, so two major plusses. They aren't cheap, but nor is the taste or the packaging. The website is easy to use and the delivery was speedy (of my sister's favourite rose and violet creams and my dad's favourite cherries in liqueur). Now I just need someone to treat me!

Really disappointing

Really disappointing. Two boxes of different collections. Both were incredibly sweet and to the extent where the taste of the cream centres were overpowered. The sweet aftertaste was so sickly I needed to drink water. The selection was also very limited with many flavours repeated. Some of the cream centres were also really quite dry. I've previously purchased many times from Fortnum's, the quality and selection was much better. I cannot understand why this would be so, but won't be ordering again.

My first order that won’t be my last

I’ve just ordered by first boxes of chocolates to try with a view to getting some for Christmas. One of the boxes I just had to buy for my friend whose name is Audrey, so I couldn’t resist. I’ve had a little taste of my selection box, and found the chocolates delicious, but this evening I thought I would try one of the jellies I’d ordered with an idea to order more for Christmas. To say they are a joy to eat is an understatement. Beautiful fruity flavours makes you want to eat more. I’ll definitely be ordering more of the jellies and chocolates for my Christmas table.
