The colour was not bad. Adequate space inside.

The colour was not particularly far off what was advertised. I don't like the grey zips, however, but the bag was inexpensive and is adequate for travelling with a lunch box, a drink and accessories (including train tickets and a tablet - and some wipes, etc).

Back pack took ages to arrive

Back pack took ages to arrive, came from China. Looks very cheap if I’d seen it in a shop wouldn’t have touched it. Was going to return but was going to cost postage back to China. Save your money and buy local!

Merchandise ships from China

I haven’t received my order yet so can’t comment on that - but what they don’t make clear is that the merchandise ships from China! The website misleadingly states “fast and free delivery” however I have been waiting nearly 2 weeks already and my tracking shows my order is still somewhere in China. Very disappointing and the item is meant for a birthday gift and looks like it won’t be arriving on time.

I ordered George | Men's Large Leather…

I ordered George | Men's Large Leather Commuter Messenger Bag

The delivery was good as wasnt in a terrible rush BUT the product itself is awful. They say this is leather but no way. It’s paper thin and the inside lining is like a paper bag. It rustles and I know it’s not the most expensive item in the world but you could probably get it off Temu for a fiver. Teaches me a lesson. Let’s see what the return process is like.

** Update **

Trying to return the goods, they have emailed three separate times to ask if I’m sure. They still have not started the returns process. Absolute joke of a company. Never buy from these!!!

Brilliant customer service

Brilliant customer service! They got back to me so quickly and sorted out the problem very quickly. Would definitely use this helpful company again and highly recommend them. Thank you Backpack Bazaar!

Poor customer service and delivery

I ordered some Compression Packing Cubes in good faith, relying on the 3 day delivery. Ordered on 18th March it’s now the 26th March and no sign of my delivery! I decided to use the tracking, and realised the shipping was from China, clearly this was not going to be with me in 3 days! I sent an email on day 6 no response, however the tracking showed the plane had left China. Great I thought, however 28 hours later the flight still in the air and no sign of my goods, I need my parcel for 30th I’m unlikely to get it. I wish I hadn’t bothered. Why mislead and say 3 day delivery and pose as a uk based company? Don’t bother if you want your order in reasonable time scales. If I get the goods and they are good quality I will update this review but currently I would give zero stars if I could.

Delays and unable to contact

Order # 2834 for £240.00 Placed on 9th of March 2025. Today is the 18th of March and I am still waiting for delivery. Was told it takes 3 to 5 working days. its been more than that. I keep trying the phone but there is no response. I have sent an e-mail. Hopefully they respond.

Delighted!

I was initially very sceptical about placing an order directly from China and half expected something to go awry. However, I couldn't have been more wrong! My order was despatched very promptly, the tracking was detailed and accurate (takingvaround a week) and when the bag arrived, I was absolutely delighted with it. It is very sturdy being made of strong, classic cotton canvas with good strong zips. I think the trims are real leather or if not, excellent faux. The lining is particularly nice with a nice cotton feel. I certainly won't hesitate ordering from them again, I am very pleased.

Slow delivery, return fee and horrible customer service

It says fast delivery time however my package arrived after roughly a week, I ordered the Jordan Crossbody Sling and it is tiny, the water bottle holders on either side aren't stretchable and can't hold a store bought bottle of water. The bag came with seams and stiches broken, thus why I have emailed for a return however it takes the customer service roughly 3 days to respond PER EMAIL. Meaning I had to send my initial email, a follow-up due to no response simply for them to ask for pictures of my damaged product. I sent those pictures 3 days ago, with a follow up message yesterday AND today (06/02/2025). I am still yet to receive a response or any implications to how I should refund/post my bag. Horrible service and a horrible bag. I genuinely believe 0/5 stars should be an option. To anyone who wishes to purchase from this website, PLEASE DO NOT IF YOU VALUE YOUR MONEY.

The 45l travel

The 45l travel, suitcase style backpack is good. Lots of room, quality feel. But it does NOT have a waist strap. Something I just expected on a travel backpack to support the low back.

Service doesn’t live up to its website promise

Chose this uk based website to ensure prompt delivery. Service does not live up to its website stated promise of fast uk wide delivery. 2 weeks since placing an order it has been stuck for days ‘being shipped’ with a china based carrier. Terrible service and have requested an immediate refund.

Ordered the backpack and after about a week, I reached out for an update. The bag I ordered is out of stock and they made no effort to contact me, then they gave me the option to wait or pick another bag from their site, I asked for a refund and not received an email since

Poor Customer Service

Unfortunately no stars wasn’t an option. Ordered a backpack several days ago, money was taken out of my account but have had no indication as to when I’m likely to receive my purchase. Have emailed twice and have had no response and have rang the number given on the contact us page of their website and nobody answers. Beginning to get very suspicious as to whether this is a legit company. Going away the beginning of March and need a backpack but still awaiting a response as to whether the one I ordered will turn up or not. Hopefully will get a response and My opinions may change. Avoid this website at all costs!
