UPDATE no 2.
Finally 'finished' after 20 days , but to add insult to.injury they have not plumber the Dishwasher in, despite a plumber saying everything ok.
Also, the decorator was S*!? I could have done better. He did one coat and I can see the writing through the paint where the kitchen fitter wrote COOKER
position!
Where do I start? From start of work there has been so many problems with my Kitchen refit through Amplius HA formerly Longhurst Group.
1. The day the kitchen work was due to be started (Monday 16th March) and after me clearing out my Kitchen of all items except appliances which I was told I could leave in place, I had a phone call from Chris Twyenham, Contracts Manager to say that my Kitchen would not be started that day. I asked when work would start and he said he had "no idea". When I pressed he admitted that the kitchen had not been delivered. I asked why he did not phone me Friday to let me know so I could have postponed clearing out my kitchen, he really had no answer. I phoned HA team and told them. Later that day Chile from Bell rang and said most grudgingly that they would start work the next day. Tues 17th. So in a nutshell Chris had lied to me.
2. Tuesday came and went and no workers turned up.
3. Wednesday 2 guys came and ripped out kitchen. I think Electrician came to take a look.
4. Work was scheduled to take place start to finish 10 days it has been 15 days and still decorating to be done.
Aside from these items, workman have:the
Rushed jobs, left mess,
Parts were missing e.g. Coloured filler panels, when I complained I was told that's how it's supposed to be! Wrong design so worktop needed changing, wrong tiles were delivered. I was told that it would be sorted but still waiting.
A Friend gave me an end panel of the same colour in case they couldn't get hold of one and the plumber stole it.
The flooring man removed all the appliances out of the kitchen to lay the flooring great, but he did not put them back. When they were put back the next day the plumber did it and scraped the brand new flooring ruined it.
My back door handle was broken by someone but instead of telling me they botched a repair with Mastic.

All in all a very bad experience and it's still not over. Most of workmen were polite and friendly, but I really don't understand how badly they are managed. Three different electricians came out and 2 different plumbers.
But today Sunday 5th April (Easter Sunday) took the biscuit. I put a load of washing on and it flooded my Kitchen. When the plumber left he said it was all working. Co
I am disgusted by the service, having worked in the Kitchen design business and employed many trades people myself in my own homes I can only say Bell and their contractors are worst I have ever seen.
Thank goodness Amplius have withdrawn their business, it is definitely the best decision.
I know nothing will or can be done now but I feel i need to vent my frustration and anger. Hopefully these reviews help other businesses see what an unprofessional company Bell is.
UPDATE.
ON TUESDAY 7TH the site manager arrived and managed to re plumb the washing machine (without leaks). A plumber has since rectified the previous useless plumbers shoddy work.
Site manager advised that a decorator would arrive on Wednesday 8th to decorate and it would take one day (lol).
Needless to say said Decorator did not turn up and when i messaged the site manager at 11.53 he said that he had "forgotten" to let me know that he would not be attending!
Thursday 9th the decorator turned up at 9.15 I asked how long he would be here and he said " all day". He did 2 hours work before shouting to me "I'm going out". At 2pm he still had not returned, leaving the kitchen a complete mess with the kitchen cupboards sealed up and equipment and dirt every where.
I called the Site manager to inform him he said "apologises he's had a family emergency".
The problem is that having being told it would be finished by today i placed a shopping order to be delivered this evening, but I can't use the kitchen.
Tomorrow with be 20 days in on a job scheduled for 10 days! And it's not even finished yet.

I recently had a new bathroom installed by Bell Group, and I couldn’t be happier with the entire experience.
From the very beginning, Ellie-I’ve unfortunately forgotten her surname, but I hope she sees this and gets the credit she deserves-provided exceptional service. She was always available throughout the process, from the initial consultation to helping me choose the perfect colours, and was quick to address any questions or concerns I had. Her support made everything feel straightforward and stress-free.
I would also like to give special credit to the installation team. They worked incredibly hard to ensure the project ran smoothly while minimising disruption to our home.
Thanks to their effort and professionalism, my family was able to continue our daily routines without any inconvenience.
I am also currently having my kitchen upgraded with the Bell team, and I’m really looking forward to seeing those plans come to life.
Thank you, Ellie, and the entire team. I absolutely love my new bathroom and would highly recommend Bell Group to anyone considering a renovation.

I recently had my kitchen refurbished by Bell. On the first day there was an issue with my central heating, Bell dealt with it well and everyone was really helpful and got it sorted out ASAP. El was really helpful and kept me updated and sorted out any little issues that came up quickly. Overall it was a positive experience and I am really pleased with my kitchen.

ASHP - Heatpump (with new radiators)-Solar panels-Wall insulation-Loft insulation...Originally told works to start 17th October 2025....todays date is 7th March 2026. All jobs are still not complete. Massive issues with all aspects of their works. Eg. Non arrival, change of dates, incomplete work, non response to messages, and so much more. I have a huge amount of emails sent a huge amount of whatsApp messages. Meetings arranged to sort but still issues arise. I DO NOT RECOMMEND. There seems to be a huge amount of confusion within the group and lack of communication. People arriving, unable to do the work, arranging to come back but then not arriving... Water flooding hallway... Burn marks on hallway carpet...uncovered carpet with men trooping inside upstairs and down with wet dirty shoes....Wall insulation entering into the bedroom over clothes etc...Visit from IAA (insulation Assurance Authority) telling us they have issued a Category 1 failure (works need to be rectified within 24 hours.....and the list goes on) I have had consistent contact with ONE person who has I feel has gone above and beyond to help (even though it is not within their remit). I am happy to name this person if you are interested.... I am happy to arrange a meeting to discuss with management (face to face). Sadly, this has been one of the worst companies I have ever had to complete any works to my home. Never again.

My experience with Bell group has been amazing! Everything has ran smoothly with my new kitchen and ive been updated every step of the way.
Ellie has been on the ball the whole time, calling texting and visiting to make sure everything is as planned. Ian has always answered any questions or queries i have had while the engineers have been in my home, couldnt ask for a better team they work really well together, really trustworthy and get the job done.

My experience with bell wasn’t good to begin with I was waiting over a month for good communication and a plan for my kitchen to get finished.
Ian has been great keeping me updated coming to see the problems and sorting most himself whilst he was there he has been lovely and the fact I have answers when I’m asking questions is great. If you need your kitchen doing I think these are the go to now. Thanks Ian

I checked my ring footage and to my supprise one of the cow boys has used his hand to lean and move the main branch at a 90 degree angle, to be able to paint behind it, snapping it in the process, then they did it to my other conifer at the other side of the flower bed, these conifers are uselees now, and will no longer grow any taller.. These guys have no respect. I will be pursuing compensation via complaints, and if need be court action if WCHG doesn't resolve the issues.
