Benchmark has spammed my company multiple times, suggesting we'd like to sell while getting several things (inc. company name!). One more such email and we'll have to make an official complaint about this.

Benchmark managed to write to our general email address requesting an appointment to discuss a vague interest in sale of our business. Thus informing everyone in the company.
I hope they avoid us in future.

Dont bother ! Salesman visits with all sorts or promises and sales talk then doesnt answer emails or phone calls . Produce fancy documents but dont do much else as far as I can see.

I was looking to sell my archive business, so I took the time to review and then interview various commercial agents regarding the process, asking also about their experience and the value of the business which they could obtain on my behalf.
We decided to go with Benchmark, and found there experience in both confidentiality and professionalism at a very high standard throughout the instruction ...... from finding a buyer and the process to an eventual sale.
I have other businesses which I will look to exit in the next few years, an my first call will be to the guys from Benchmark, we cannot recommend them high enough.
I just wanted to thank Benchmark's transaction team for the extraordinary effort and support throughout our sale. The process with Benchmark was excellent. Having tried to sell before with another company we are delighted to have found Benchmark. They understood our business and cared about getting the best deal for us. Without them, I don't think a sale would have happened.
Avoid, These people have been spamming me for months now, sending mail to someone with a different name and a different business name than mine.
If this is the level of due diligence that is applied in their spam based marketing (it isn't hard to check an email against a website against companies house records) then why would anyone think that they would be capable of professionally marketing the sale of a business?
For any business owners out there thinking of selling their business -
whatever you do don't appoint any one of the several businesses that use spam or direct mail to encourage you to sell though them. Speak to local mid-tier accountants, get personal recommendations and make sure that you speak to the owners that they have worked with that have successfully sold their businesses and those that have not succeeded yet.
