We provide Lobsters, Crab, Oysters, Langoustines, Seafood Platters, and all manner of shellfish. 2024 marked a keystone moment when moving into our New Shellfish processing factory located at Berwick ramparts Business park. We are now capable of holding over 7000 kg of Live Shellfish , with a cooking facility handling around 950 kg per hour, proving to be one of the most long term shellfish export companies in the UK, now delivering to over 11,000 clients across the UK via our online sales network.

I have ordered north sea cod fillets…

I have ordered north sea cod fillets and it has a terrible smell and taste something like ammonia, I wrote them a message about it and they haven't even bothered themselves to reply...
And their website is rubbish at least on phone..

Excellent products but abysmal customer…

Excellent products but abysmal customer service. I ordered my last order in my correct home address as I have always done without problem but on this occasion the order was sent via Shopify to my old address of 5 years ago. Needless to say I never received it but Graham at Berwick Seafood seemingly considers this to be my fault and has ignored my request for a replacement or refund. As a long standing customer I am saddened by such a cavalier approach and will never use them again.

I ordered a package from this company

I ordered a package from this company, but it never arrived, I rang them to let me know that it had been delivered to the wrong address, it was left to me to phone the delivery company who had no record of the delivery whatsoever, so rang back Berwick seafood and they said they wouldn’t refund or replace the item as it wasn’t there fault, they said they wouldn’t refund or phone me back with a tracking number, but they never did, I used to use this company quite a lot, but not anymore, feel totally let down, and the are just not intetested

Delicious monkfish

Ordered monkfish, very pleased with this, also ordered calamari and kippers, received calamari and crab legs, (not liked or wanted), sent 2 emails , not received a reply.

Disappointed

Placed order online - didn't see anywhere to submit preferred delivery but assumed fastest would be applied.
Had a missed call from Berwick - returned the call many times with no answer and also emailed - no answer. Eventually one of my calls gave the voicemail option and I left a message with delivery options.
Then had a call advising delivery - this was good! However the delivery was delayed by AFC and when it arrived 2 days later the order had defrosted. I like my shellfish but 1 kg in one go??
Bit frustrated really - Berwick could have got a good rating with very little additional effort. Good communication doesn't cost anything - but keeps the customers returning! Unfortunately I won't!

No communication after order…

No communication after order confirmation, didn't answer phone calls and ignored e mails. Had to claim money back from my credit card. their either a con, gone bust or have terrible customer service.

Lobster meat

We bought your lobster meat. An excellent product at a good price. You have got yourselves a fan. Very well packaged and excellent delivery service. The meat was "top notch" with no waste and big chunk. Well done !

No seafood and no refund

I have been a customer of this company for a few years. I had issues with the delivery before, but my 2025 Christmas order, which was placed and paid for on 18th November 2025, has never arrived. I have tried again and again to contact the company by phone, SMS message and email asking for a refund. The phone was simply never answered and there has been no reply to my emails, so I am left with no fish and no refund. The produce is excellent when it does arrive, but obviously I can no longer use this company because customer service is non-existent.

They took my money and failed to…

They took my money and failed to deliver the two lobsters ordered. No communication other than a call I placed with a promise to come back to me - never materialised. Poor experience. No excuses. Ruined my NYE dinner.
