Delivery is unreliable...Boston Seed take the "it's the courier, not us" approach which just makes matters worse. Of course it's you!! I didn't choose DHL, you did! If DHL is delivering a bad service to your customers, own that problem and change to better courier. Don't pass the problem on to your customers.

I have been a customer for many years and up until my most recent purchase , everything had been great.

My last order included a 5kg bag of daffodils. About 20% were “ soft”. I emailed Boston Seeds who quickly replaced the entire bag.

It gives me great confidence that if there ever is a problem , they will sort it . I would highly recommend this company.

Ordered 5kg of seed to oversow an existing lawn. A task that I have done probably 20 times before. This was done after scarifying. Seed was distributed and raked in so that it was covered. Growing conditions were perfect. Absolutely no germination at all. Very poor quality seed and no germination at all. Contacted Boston Seeds. Ping pong emails and to date nothing resolved. Very poor company and inferior seed.

I ordered my bulbs on the 8th September, I emailed on the 29th of September as I hadn’t received them and hadn’t heard when they would be delivered. I got a quick response saying that they had lots of orders and were hoping to send them that week.
It’s now the 8th October and I still haven’t received them or heard when they will be delivered. I could have kept the money in my account for another month.
To add “insult to injury “ I this week got a general email saying that bulb orders place by 2pm Thursday (today) would be delivered within 24hours ie this week.

Ordered some snowdrops bulbs online. Easy to do and plenty of choice.
Had to wait for delivery due to when the bulbs were expected but that was clear when ordered.
They were then delivered when I expected. Ver happy with the service.

You had a good variety of orange crocuses, at a reasonable price and delivered them when you said they would arrive. Can't say what the crocuses will be like until February or March 2027!!

I have received 2 orders on the same day incurring 2 delivery charges . Could they not be packed all in 1 carton and save me £5.99 . Also some of the bulbs I received were below standard. 1 x Apeldoorn (Darwin Red) very small and crispy, brittle .2 x apricot Impression (Darwin) . One was sooty black the other scabby yellow . I can provide photos if necessary. I would like replacements please .

The ordering process was easy and straightforward
l would say the delivery leaves a lot to be desired it seems very mixed up as to how and when the delivery will be made as of this point no delivery at all.

Prompt delivery of grass seed, which has now been sown. Too early for growth as yet.

Ordered grass seed without problem and fast delivery.
I did cringe when I saw it was Evri that were delivering but thankfully it was delivered on the day and time slot thay said.

I liked the fact the website explained the different types of seed for different environments and having shady clay soil i chose based on this at the start of this year for a bald patch of lawn. The grass looked so good this summer that I have ordered more to put over the rest of the lawn. I was impressed with the quality, price and speedy delivery

Great experience using Boston seeds. I need to wait a few weeks to see the final results but very happy with all the products I purchased.
