Excellent friendly service

The staff are very friendly and helpful with a great deal of knowledge of product specifications and comparisons to other like products. There is no hard sell and you are free to try and compare any products at your leisure. They offer a level of service that a lot of bigger stores should look at and incorporate. The customer experience is second to none I travel 120 miles round trip and cannot recommend them highly enough.

I have recently had a problem after buying an extended insurance online for a new camera bought from Cambrian. The code that I was given by the camera firm did not work on my account. The camera firm also had a problem with their email provider which blocked contact from my email provider.. i could not contact anyone to get help.. Finally I asked Cambrian and they undertook to contact the camera firm on my behalf. It was sorted within a day and I am grateful. This is not unusual assistance from Cambrian, they are always approachable and helpful ..

Extraordinary amount of kit available during the 'Jumble Sale' Had a BIG box to carry all the items purchased away to home.

Wanting the most sought after and hugely pre-ordered camera in many years and resigning myself to a long wait, I was astonished to actually receive it less than 24 hours after placing my order.

The member of staff I spoke to was friendly, helpful and efficient and the whole ordering process was totally painless.

I highly recommend them and will certainly be using them in the future. Thank you for the great service.

I went in for a passport photo

I’ve made two purchases from the shop and can’t fault the staff and the shop at all….very well stocked with all different optics which you can try out and that is rare nowadays.
Staff extremely friendly and helpful and also very knowledgeable which helps with a berk like me…can’t recommend enough.

Charged £16.99 for 2 x passport photos. I paid less amount an got 6 copies last time and this time their excuse was not convincing for giving 2 copies. I checked with jessope and they are still proving 6 copies for less price.

Lens as described in top condition. Very fast delivery.

The care and attention that went into printing my pictures was exceptional. The sizes were non standard and a lot of thought and advice was given to making sure the prints were of the best quality. I’ll certainly use Cambrian for any future work.

I have been purchasing from Cambrian for the last 20 years, this must speak for itself.
I know that I can usually buy items cheaper from the internet.
But what you can’t get is the personal service and backup. Optical equipment is usually quite expensive. If you find that you wished that known more about the product this can be an expensive mistake.
At Cambrian I have always found the staff most knowledgeable about the product and when necessary they will point you to consider alternatives. My recommendation is that anyone looking to purchase these types of items always goes to a reputable shop as opposed to the internet should you find you have a problem Cambrian have always looked after me.
