We purchased the Camptech Starline Elite 260 around three months ago for our Elddis Chatsworth 155 after seeing one set up at Spinney in Knutsford. It was a bit of an impulse buy, but one we've never regretted.
The quality was obvious from the first time we put it up. The single inflation system makes assembly quick and straightforward, and it provides loads of extra living space – easily enough room for six camping chairs. It feels far superior to some of the more budget air awnings we've seen, and the price definitely reflects the quality of the materials and finish. It also looks fantastic once it's up.
We've used it in both wind and rain, and it's been rock solid. It keeps the weather off brilliantly and makes sitting outside possible even on cooler, out-of-season camping trips. It actually became our safe haven after I broke my arm, giving us a warm, dry space to relax when camping could easily have been cut short.
We also had to contact customer services after discovering a buckle was missing. The process couldn't have been easier. We returned it through our local Spinney store and received a brand-new replacement in under a week. The only slight mix-up was that the replacement was the newer 2026 model with aluminium veranda poles instead of the inflatable ones we'd originally had. It wasn't a major issue, and replacements were inexpensive, but what really impressed us was how quickly and professionally the problem was resolved.
Overall, we couldn't be happier with our purchase. The quality, appearance, ease of assembly and extra living space have made it a real game changer for us. In fact, we've already recommended it to friends, and one has since gone on to buy one too. We wouldn't hesitate to buy another Camptech product in the future.

Sold as all season air awning fit for a seasonal pitch; it is not. Poor fit on our size 14 that allows water to pool in middle. Does not manage the heavy rain that Peak District gets & has completely collapsed with weight of water twice as it does not flow off properly. We have taken it down - readjusted it, added air, everything we could think of & now have resorted to propping up the middle beam with wood above the window.
We are not novices to awnings, and wish we had not gone from our old faithful £250 second hand Isabella dorema poled awning to this which we had no problems with.
At a cost of £1800 plus storm straps it has poor instructions, poor quality & is a pile of rubbish. Only one curtain per window & barely fit.
Putting up is hard work & very heavy.
The only reason it’s got one star is for the colour.

I can only advise anyone NOT to buy this product. It came down in the first week of rain. I have had to but 8 poles to try and keep it up. This awning so far in repairs has cost me over 500 pound. Stay well clear of it or you will be wasting your money. the poles are flimsy, so beak in a bit of wind when it collapses.PLEASE take my word for it. DO NOT BUY!!!!!! I paid a professional man to put it up the following year and within one week it was down again. So I have tried with this awning.

Avoid...there are other makes out there.
Brought a buckingham awning in March.. side poles came down putting 2 holes in canvas and in binding around exit point for canopy after 4 days. Contacted camping shop who were brilliant and did a request to camptec. So disappointed not once have Camptec acknowledged any poor workmanship or even pretended to listen.
I have later found out in the new Buckingham awning they are putting in bigger clamps which was the problem.. the clamps supplied were too small and could not be tightened. Even with pliers.. which broken wing nut when tried to get undone and still moved. But I was told it was my fault basically.
If you do buy one be prepared to have to buy extra poles to keep it up and from rain pooling.
As a seasonal awaning it needs some adaptions to make it fit for purpose.

Bought Camptech awning at Glasgow caravan show in February just put it up this week in April 2026. Instructions were not very clear but worked it out ourselves and watched a YouTube video. Once you have put it up once the next time will be easy enough. Nice looking awning

This is John who bought one of your falsely advertised full season awnings that fell apart after a couple of days. Your reply is like your awning.A Joke. I have lost over 1k on a not fit for purpose awning. That isn’t full season. I had to purchase another awning Dorema after yours fell apart. Guess what I went to Anglesey for Easter. Had storms at 56 mph and gusts over 106 mph with hail non stop all night and most of day. The Dorema which I bought is advertised as full season and not a thing was wrong with it. So how come your cheap made awning fell apart in winds and rain 50 percent less than what I have just experienced. Is it because the awning I bought of you was badly manufactured.YES. Your reply to my previous post is a JOKE JUST LIKE YOUR AWNING. NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE. DO NOT BUY CRAPTECH

I brought a camptech kensington air awning just over a year ago. I have just been told that camptech do not supply replacement front panel. My awning front panel was damaged by storm Dave and I can't get a replacement one! Why is the question I spent a lot of money on this awning so you would think that spare panels would be available. You buy a car to find out that you cannot get replacement panel if you have an accident. So I would advise think against buying a camptech awning.

Camptech starline elite 300 air awning. Only had the awning a week and put it up for 3 days, awning seems good quality so far, I contacted Camptech to ask about veranda bars, they replied by email to say the veranda bars are alloy not air and that they don't deal direct with the public and couldnt send a link to the poles we need and that i should contact a dealer, i have searched the internet for these poles and no luck, this is the worst customer service ever UPDATE
I clicked on the link you sent and I still can't find these poles, it is absolutely crazy that this starline ELITE has alloy poles but the cheaper version has air poles, also since I left a 1☆ review you have changed your attitude and trying to help which you should of done in the 1st place

Top Notch experience.
We originally ordered an Atlantis from Purly outdoors in Nuneaton, unfortunately the Atlantis was on back order & not available until May, so we took the bull by the horns & ordered a Buckingham instead.
Extremely pleased with this choice, it's a HEAVY awning to erect, however when completed it does look "The Business" on the side of our Bailey GT75 Portofino.
The following is not in anyway meant as a criticism but more of a "user engineering" point of view.
The Buckingham is 3 metres wide & honestly it could really do with 2 extra stantions at either end, This would make it far more "stable" in high winds ....(personally I purchased 2 extra poles & it is now far more of a "solid" construction)
Further, 1 roof rafter does not do the job of keeping the fabric "tight" on the roof, again I purchased an extra roof rafter & it is amazing the difference it makes.
Overall 9.75 outta 10 ....a little more consideration on the 3 metre width would have been a good way to go !!

In response to your reply. You fail to mention that you deemed that a bird had probably caused the damage.
Yes you agreed to repair as a gesture of goodwill, which we accepted, but had we known what a botch job the repair would be, then we would have refused the repair.
For a professional repair company, I can only say what an absolute unacceptable repair they have carried out. It would highly unlikely withstand the stretching of the canvas and the elements of the weather.
Maybe you should take on board other customers opinions on how unhelpful the customer service and aftercare from Camptech is.
Your awnings are far from cheap, so would expect a better level of customer service. Yet this is not the case. Just reading other reviews about Camptech and your lack of empathy, says it all.
Camptech products are ones to definately avoid buying.

We purchased our Camptech Count DL awning from A&E leisure. They were very helpful in answering all of our questions and did so very quickly. Delivery was very efficient and everything arrived well packaged. We haven’t yet had chance to use the awning as the 2026 season is yet to begin, but we are very much looking forward to it.

I first spoke to the Camptech team at The Caravan and Motorhome Show, and they were incredibly friendly and helpful. Their advice made choosing the right awning easy.
I purchased the Buckingham awning, and it has been absolutely brilliant—no issues whatsoever. The quality is outstanding, and it’s clear the product is built to last.
In fact, because of how impressed I’ve been, friends and family have since purchased Camptech awnings too. Great product and great team—highly recommended!

The awning was very difficult to erect. The instructions might as well have been in a foreign language. It took me four hours to erect and the result was not satisfactory. A few days later it rained and there was extensive pooling on the roof. After a prolonged discussion with the supplier, the CampTech manager visited and adjusted the setup. It took him 3 hours and it still is not perfect; it certainly does not look like the publicity photos. However, we accepted it. To resolve the roof pooling requires "roof-raiser" poles. These are described by at least one supplier as "essential accessories". If they are essential why are they not in the package? Why must they be bought separately?
The awning itself gets a 2 because I believe there are design faults. The CampTech manager gets a 4 for effort and perseverance. But I would not buy a CampTech awning again.
