Canary Care Avis 

The Canary Care system was brilliant for my mum who was living on her own with dementia. Without intruding on her privacy we were able to check she’d got up and went to bed, we knew if she’d had a shower or made a cup of tea and when she went out of the doors. It was massively reassuring and without canary care she would have had to have gone into care home much sooner.

We used this product for a number of years and it proved invaluable in being able to tell / see if my elderly Father was up and about. Gave us great peace of mind

We have used Canary Care for several years. It has been an invaluable help in checking on our very elderly parents in their own home. After Mum died we kept the system in place and in fact it was instrumental in realising very quickly that Dad was not moving around the house in his usual pattern so we were able to call for help and it was found he had fallen so we were able to send for an ambulance very quickly.

On or approximately January 19, 2026 we were experiencing an emergency situation at our establishment, I called Canary Care and Charlie answered, I briefly explained the urgency of having someone cover a shift, to make long story short, Charlie immediately stepped in, he assisted with everything, even fixed a television that one of the residents was experiencing. I can't say Ienough about this company and it's owner(s) I highly recommend them for all of your Care needs...

Excellent system for someone with dementia living alone and no wi fi. It enables the family to monitor their loved one and keep them safe

As others have written, this is a brilliant system that has allowed us to keep our mother at home on her own. We can check her movements, ensure that the heating is on and also check that carers have come in.

I recently rented a canary system for my elderly mum before she went into a care home. For the time it was installed in her house it was absolutely invaluable - as well as peace of mind, it was great for spotting an issue with room temperatures which meant the central heating boiler had a fault. It also provided evidence needed that she required 24 hour care in a specialist dementia home.

All staff involved have been 5 star - from the admin staff to the lovely Sue who helped with the installation. Thank you all so so much

The Canary Care system was easy to set up and manage. It did not take long at all.

We used Canary Care for our mother when she was quite frail. It's really simple to set up, the rules are simple to configure and it needs very little maintenance. It's really useful that it can alert multiple people if the rule triggers. It's non-intrusive - just a small box stuck to the wall - and it doesn't need the person to wear anything. The service was totally reliable and we never had any trouble with it. I would definitely recommend it.

As a family we found the system very useful to help us keep mum safe. she had a form of dementia and had very poor short term memory. She had a habit of leaving the front door open. Canary care system would send us an alert notification so we could call her and remind her. we also found the temperature readings very helpful as she also had a habit of turning off the heating.

I bought Canary Care to monitor my Mam's movements through the night as she lived alone with mixed dementia. The ability to activate an alarm on my phone for certain activities was a must, I monitored the front/back door along with a doorbell camera. I could monitor her movements during the night as she was very active at that time and at high risk of falls. On a few occasions I was able to tell that she had fallen and go to her aid quickly.
At first the system appears confusing but as I got used to how it worked and my mam's routine it really helped me understand what she was doing while I wasn't there while protecting her privacy.

Reliable and really effective monitoring system that allowed me to check on my Mum at home on her own. It gave me real peace of mind. It is very easy to set up rules and alerts which come direct to your phone. Friendly and efficient customer service. Highly recommend

Canary care has literally been a life-saver for my elderly father who is insulin dependent diabetic. It has enabled me to contact emergency services when he has been unresponsive who got to him before I could.
The service is also exceptional from the staff. I will always be grateful to them.

This system has been designed incredibly well. From an end user perspective it’s simple to install and use and the amount of data it gives you is remarkable. In the four years of using it I never had any issues. It gave me great peace of mind and in particular the door sensors were invaluable. I was able to support my dad living at home for much longer than I would have if I hadn’t discovered Canary Care. The Canary Care System has been incredibly useful to us. It has given my mum an additional 4 years of being able to live independently which is phenomenal.

We installed the Canary Care system on the advice of Adult Social Care as Mum has Alzheimers. It was easy to install, and both the app and desktop alerts setup were easy to use. It was invaluable for me as I was able to see when Mum was not sleeping at night, or wandering confused during the day, to explain her tiredness and moods and take any necessary steps.
All contacts with customer service were exemplary from beginning to end, and I would not hesitate to recommend Canary Care. It has given me great peace of mind.

An excellent service which I took on when a previous provider of a similar service ceased. Only good things to say. The system is simple, foolproof, reliable and gives confidence to both my mother who lived alone and me. What little contact I have had with admin teams has worked perfectly.

Brilliant system for keeping Mam safe and independent with total privacy. This monitors only movement, temperature and light... so we can track if there has been a really sleepless night that might impact on the next day, set alerts for different things so a couple of times got alert that temperature in one room had spiked so could ring to turn fire off that had accidentally been left on... in the future will add the door sensors on the external doors - this is a great discreet monitoring system for inside the house that we've paired up with a Locaite key fob tracker for outside the house, as Mam would never forget her keys - that's a tracker and phone combined... the 2 systems together give us such piece of mind to help keep Mam safe while she keeps her independence - thank you Canary Care for such a great system!!
