I filed a straightforward claim 4 months ago, providing all necessary documentation in the correct formatting both via their site and through one concise email. They have dragged me along for 4 months, long drawn out phone calls 2x per week and there is always an excuse, confusion on their end as to why it hasn't yet been accepted, and a new way they want me to resubmit the same documents. I feel this is a scam meant to drag out until I give up. I know I am in the right here because they would have simply denied my claim long ago if not. complete scam.

If there was an option of zero stars, I'd give it. Horrible customer service. I filed a claim EIGHT MONTHS AGO. I emailed and called about FIFTY times (no exaggeration). I get nothing but the run around. After FIVE months they finally decided that they received all the paperwork (which I had to submit more than once). The field investigator said he called the rental agency, yet the rental agency has no record of their name or number. I begged eclaims many times to call me back - that was MONTHS ago, still no call back. I simply don't know what to do at this point. I even tracked down the underwriter of the policy, they too say Eclaims must help me. So I'm hoping this review will get them to reach out and help me. UPDATED 11/18/24: I EMAILED HELP.TEAM@ECLAIMSLINE. COM LAST WEEK - NOBODY HAS REPLIED

They made the process very easy and handled my claim with care. it took less than a month from the time I filed the claim to when I received the check for reimbursement. I only spoke with 1 rep and the rest of the communication was through email, which I preferred.

I rented a car and declined the insurance because of the coverage promised by the Chase credit card. I was involved in an accident on the Atlantic City Expressway resulting in over $5,000 in damage to the rental car. I followed directions and filed my claim and held my breath and after about 2,months I got word that everything was taken care of and the claim was settled with Budget Rental Car. I am pleased and will continue to use my Chase card for future rental car reservations.

I am very satisfied with the outcome of my claim. However, Chase did not provide a reason for the final amount of my claim and though it was near the amount of what I had paid out-of-pocket to repair the damage caused by Delta Airlines, it wasn’t explained why the settlement amount was less. That said, it was close enough and much better than it could have been so I am still happy! Thank you again for all of your associates attention to detail as I know my claim was not a simple case.

This was as easy as I could hope for. I used Eclaimsonline through my chase credit card to settle damage on a rental car. Making the claim, adding documents, and getting instructions on the phone was easy and quick. They kept me updated by email. It was settled exactly as I hoped, paid directly to the rental car company. The only issue was bugs on their website preventing me from uploading documents, but they had alternatives and good customer service.

My husband has an accident right before our trip, and we had to cancel a month's worth of prepaid travel in the UK. I dreaded having to make the claim
The forms were sent to me electronically, but suggested I hand-write or typewrite into them. My handwriting is illegible, and who has a typewriter? These forms should be updated to pdf fillable forms. That was my only complaint.
Otherwise, I was very pleased with how quickly and smoothly the claim went. I always received acknowledgement when I sent something, and there was only one request for specific data. I was also very pleased with how quickly the process went. I received the full amount of my claim. I'm telling everyone how satisfied I have been with the card and with the results of my claim. Thank you soooo much.

First time making a claim after using Chase (or predecessor) cards for 25 years. The Hertz claim was very weird (and unfounded) yet eclaims processed my submission in an efficient and relatively painless fashion, ultimately paying the claim. This kind of quality service breeds loyalty, believe me. Thank you!

I had to cancel a trip because of a need for heart surgery. The insurer paid all claims eligible under the policy for nonrefundable amounts we had paid for the trip for my family, and did so expeditiously. Since I received flight credits from an airline upon cancellation of airline tickets, I wasn’t eligible for reimbursement of that expense until the credits expired unused. I was particularly gratified that the insurer paid that portion of the claim promptly after I provided evidence of expiration of the credits.
I was surprised to discover the policy as a benefit of my credit card. Only expenses paid with the credit card were covered. I will now be sure to use that card for all of my travel expenses.

UPDATE: After some deeply frustrating phone calls, and waiting on the line for 30 minutes, I was able to get them to re-review the claim and accept it, although, I have not seen the money yet as my claim is processing. That said, nobody should have to go through this nonsense as this surely is not an uncommon reason to file a claim and these kind of hoops deter people from getting their claims which they deserve.
Recently my father became gravely ill and nearly passed away so I had to fly to see him, which meant I needed to cancel a flight which is supposed to be covered by this company's insurance policy.
I tried to redeem my insurance, and this service deliberately made it impossible to complete by making the documentation impossible to provide.
Specifically, they asked for documentation from the provider that was impossible to obtain (emergency physicians are frequently travelling in rural areas), but also, I'm not physically in the country so it would be impossible.
Upon phoning the hospital, they are understandably too busy to help, but also, would not be legally allowed to because I was not the patient.
I provided extensive documentation of the trip that was more than ample (included documentation of medications, illness, etc), but this was not sufficient.
This insurance is deliberately setup to take your money and not follow through on their obligation. If it's not a fraud, it's damn close. Do not give them your money.

I had a non-refundable hotel reservation that I had to cancel due to an airline flight cancelation. I was a bit skeptical of the claims process due to some of the reviews. But, I used the online filing process, and after providing the requested documents I had some follow up questions from a reviewer, and my full claim for my hotel costs was paid. I will definitely continue to use my Chase card with travel benefits and would recommend it to others.

The trip cancellation benefit is an outstanding benefit considering our circumstances. I had no issues especially that I submitted all the documents required. Submission was easy and the response was quick.

This is the first time in over 40 years of traveling internationally that I had to file a claim for a trip cancellation due to the unexpected illness and death of my husband’s Mother right before the trip was to begin. We were very happy that the process went so smoothly. The information request was clear and complete. Once we submitted the documentation we received one follow-up message for clarification on one point and then the claim was processed and finalized. While we lost about $4,000 due to cancelling the trip, we were happy to get back $10,000 via the trip cancellation/interruption benefit so that we didn’t lose the full $14,000. We hope we do not have to cancel any future trips but we will rest assured that if we do have to cancel or interrupt our trip it will not be a total loss due to this great benefit.

Incredibly painful dealing with these people after my backpack was stolen. They are obviously trying to make your experience as miserable as possible so you give up before they have to pay you. I tried making a claim on their website multiple times and each time the website crashed at the very end. When I finally managed to submit my documents, they told me my police report was "insufficient" because "it did not list the claimed item(s)", but the items were clearly listed. I resubmitted with the same police report and it was accepted, so the first person who looked at it must have been illiterate. They said it would take 10 business days to review my case, but I had to send them a reminder after the deadline passed. Now they've finally approved my claim, but for some reason the payment is only for one of the two items I claimed, so I have to write them another email so I can get the full payment I deserve. This company is maliciously incompetent.
