Horrible buying and post-sales experience.

Cars are advertised without stamp duty and other on-road costs included, so the advertised price is not the actual drive-away price. Buyers should be aware of that upfront.

After purchasing my car, I found multiple features were not functioning correctly. Cars24 heavily promotes its 3-month warranty, but in my experience the process has been awful. I took the car back to them, waited around four hours, and was ultimately told to take it to the dealership instead.

Communication is the biggest problem. They call from different mobile numbers, the support team seems disconnected from the sales and warranty teams, and there appears to be very little continuity between representatives and they make promises to call back which they DO NOT KEEP.

The customer service representatives also seem to rely heavily on generic AI-generated or automated responses. If you are to text or email your "case manager" you will get and AI response instantly, with no option of talking to a functioning human. Should you choose to call them and explain an issue, you will get a response that barely addresses it before they try and palm you off to a different representative and the cycle repeats.

When my original vehicle delivery was delayed by an extra 9 days, nobody contacted me. It took a week of calling every day just to find out what was happening. Had I not called them they never would have told me and I would have been left in limbo. This was all after they had taken the full payment mind you.

The warranty process has been even worse. I was given the mobile number of another staff member, called multiple times and left three voicemails without a response. When I called support again, they gave me the same number and then hung up on me.

Another representative later promised the warranty team would call me the next day. No call came. When I called back again, the new representative had no idea what I was talking about and effectively told me everything depended on one particular staff member eventually getting back to me. Surprise surprise.... I was never contacted.

That sums up the experience. Every time you call, you seem to start again from scratch. Nobody owns the issue, callbacks do not happen, and different teams do not seem to communicate. If the entire support department was replaced with competent representatives this would have been an extremely pleasant experience.

I cannot recommend Cars24, the Melbourne team or the customer service department. If anything goes wrong after the sale, expect to spend a lot of time chasing them up yourself.

I bought a car. A sales person was going to call me back. No one called yesterday or today so far. I booked a virtual demo. I followed the meeting link. No one was on the other end. I have paid for a car outright it failed its roadworthy inspection despite it passing Cars 24 360 points of inspection due to a engine mounting leak. So their inspection was obviously marketing and advertising only in words. Rohit has now booked a new appointment for tomorrow. Im still waiting on a dealer to call me as per Rohita. This is my 4th car purchase during my lifetime and its my worst experience to date. Let's see what happens this week.

Overall an easy experience. Everything regarding the purchase of my car was explained and pricing was transparent. Vansh did a great job communicating the process.
