Efficient and educational

DO NOT BUY

Having purchased several CDA integrated appliances for a brand new fitted kitchen less than 3 years ago the washing machine stopped working after 30 months. I accepted that Labour cover was only provided for 24 months and paid £139 for an engineer to attend. I was advised that the error code the machine displayed was not a code that should be recognised by this machine and was informed the engineer would order a part that would fix the problem. 12 weeks later and still the part was not available. After complaining I was offered a discounted price on a replacement machine however I would need to cover installation and removal of original machine. I requested a refund on the engineers visit cost to be told this was non refundable. After explaining I was told that only one charge of £139 would be applicable in order to get my machine working irrespective of the outcome of whether parts were available I was offered a £70 refund. I am a single person living alone so the machine was not used excessively. I feel that CDAs inability to get parts when they offer 5 years free parts guarantee is not my fault and I have been totally mislead and to be honest feel ripped off and I will never purchase anything from this company again.
A small tip, anyone trying to get hold of customer services and being told they are busy and you could be waiting for 20 minutes plus, end the call and ring SALES you will be answered immediately and just ask them to transfer you.

Engineer fixed the issue and did a good job, only issue facia needed replacing as had to be pulled off and they no longer have them so they said nothing they can do.

Great support

The Customer service team were very helpful and replied promptly to my emails. The engineer arrived within the arranged time frame and soon sourced the alignment problem with the extractor screen. Very pleased with the result.

Absolute rubbish company.....engineer was booked for 17/03, received a text on the 16th to say he was on his way( no one arrived), waited all day on the 17th, phoned CDA who said engineer came yesterday & appliance was OK... what a joke

Repairs to a broken wine cooler

Our ageing wine cooler broke down. I contacted CDA and an engineer date was confirmed very quickly. Graham arrived well within the timeslot and was very knowledgable and friendly. He quickly identified the problem and gives a new part. Thank you.

Engineer made things worse

All went well until the engineer fitted a new door on our dishwasher. Now the door doesn't fit properly and it leaks. Still waiting for some action to rectify this. Slow response.

CDA - Poor customer service and poor communication

Fault in LCD clock required a circuit board to be replaced. CDA arranged an engineer to attend on 12/02/26 but the engineer called up on the day to say that he had not received the part and the repair would have to be rescheduled. The engineer requested that the new circuit board be sent directly to my home address and the board was received a few days later.
CDA rearranged the engineer to attend - no consultation with me.
You have to wait until the day before to be informed (by text) of whether the engineer visit will be a morning or afternoon visit.
Over a month later the engineer attended and he brought a replacement circuit board with him. He was surprised to find out that a replacement circuit board had already been sent to me!!
The repair was straightforward and the new board installed successfully in a matter of minutes.
I was disappointed that the engineer then asked me to dispose of the faulty circuit board. I was surprised that CDA do attempt to repair or recycle the faulty circuit board.
CDA’s communication is just through text messages apart from the original call to report the fault. Generally CDA’s customer service is poor and very impersonal.

All of the members of staff that I spoke to were extremely helpful and professional and the engineer, Graham, was fantastic! He quickly found the problem with my freezer and fixed it. Would highly recommend.
