Had home emergency cover on home insurance. I called them when I had a flood at my home. Explained I had 3 inches of water and lost all electrics. I am a single mum with 2 children under 13years old. I was told they would contact emergency plumber and electrician and I would recieve a text within an Hour. This call was at 13.07 on Bank Holiday Monday. I called them at 17.59 to chase and was told I would get a plumber coming out tomorrow??? they hadnt heard from an electrician. I explained I had managed to turn of stopcock to property. I was admittedly quite emotional but said how unhappy I was that I hadnt been contacted as promised. They said 'Oh Sorry!' then asked to put me on hold whilst they cancelled electrician and plumber. I tried to ask why they were doing this but they had put me on hold. Then when they came back on they said 'Ok thats all done!' and the hung up on me?? I have cancelled my policy and am now leaving this review. I have been left in a property with no running water and limited electrics. I am paying out for my own trades people to make safe. When I called today to cancel policy they asked why, I explained and then they said ok. No apology. and when I asked them to repeat the cancellation fee they were charging me she repeated it like I was stupid. Very insulting.

Terrible service avoid
Terrible service & I should have known from the start when I could not register (& still cant ) to view my policy on line within their customer website. No renewal advice received, policy has now lapsed and I am unable to get my no claims statement. Avoid, you may get a tempting quote but they are a nightmare to deal with. Additionally they did not ask for my years no claims evidence last time due to what they call ‘an error’ now I have lost my previous 9 years no claims!
Excellent customer service
Mateo was excellent and for me went beyond what was expected, making the whole process simple. The price quoted was the best price across all platforms I’ll definitely be using them again.

Very good customer service
Very good customer service. I needed to upgrade my insurance and my all was accepted quickly without anything issues. The lady I spoke to was lovely and knew everything about what I needed.

Price was reasonable for cover…
Price was reasonable for cover required. Only snag i had was to pay as it kept processing ‘forever’ eventually i realised they probably dont accept Amex! A message to say what cards are accepted would have saved tons of time!
