They message at 10pm on a Sunday night to tell you to come in later or not at all, then when I text the same number to tell them I had an appointment they didn't get it

it's min wage for low skilled job, the application app is horrendous,I had to give them my login to do it in the end
I wasn't paid on the first week I complained they said it was my fault, and I'd be paid a week later I walked , them found out from head office thet they'd given them the wrong start date so I was never going to get paid fior it. They were supposed to send me an induction email I asked 3 times they said they'd sent it and would resend it I still didn't get it.
Stay well away from these

The staff communicated very well and they were honest with me. They are effictive and good on follow up.
I am very happy I got a positive feed back, and on time.

Working for Challenge-trg Recruitment didn't start off well as I was ordinarily given the wrong shift (the dayshift) and I wanted the nightshift because my commute was far but this was soon rectified the following week. I found the challenge-trg Recruitment supervisors to have poor communication skills, rude and unapproachable when you needed help. Instead of helping, they would rather lecture you. The worst of them was Marius Culica a little man with an ego bigger than his stature.
Marius Culica's belligerent, arrogant attitude made it very difficult for me to work under him, he nitpicked my work at every opportunity he had gotten, striving to regress my progress. His
behaviour had been rude and condescending. He had berated me in front of people for nothing. (for example, after I achieved my pick rate target he promised me a Yellow Vest the next night
but when the following night came, I didn't see him, he must have been delayed so I asked for a Yellow Vest and a member of Tesco team handed me a Yellow Vest and when Marius saw me,
he started to berate me, shouting at me, asking me where I got the vest from and how he's the only one to issue vests and nobody else and if I didn't like it I could go and work the dayshift. I
was left perplexed by his conduct. Later on, I realised that the vests he issued my colleagues all displayed the " Challenge-trg Recruitment " company logo on them, and my one did not. If that was the problem he had with my vest he needn't had a temper tantrum about it but explain it to me nicely, what his issue was.
I understand Challenge-trg Recruitment (part of the Challenge-trg group) celebrates equality and diversity but I still don't understand why Marius imposed a 100% pick rate to the black
employees before we could be issued with our Yellow Vests, but the same stipulations were not required for people of other ethnic groups, and did not have to reach such a high pick rate
target of one hundred percent, but fell ten to twenty points below it. I myself ended up with a pick rate of 109% which I must say was not an easy endeavour.
I can not work under this type of individual, and feel like this type of individual will always hinder the working progress of people like me to strive because of his personal prejudices, unless you decide to do something about it. Overall, I wouldn't recommend anyone to work for Challenge-trg Recruitment as the hours are not guaranteed and were consistently being shortened.
