Horrible experience they cannot verify the checks they have made with citi bank due to this citi bank has my funds on hold they are advising checkbook to reclaim the funds but they refuse so my money is stuck due to suspicious of fraud way to go checkbook
Maybe hire someone to answer the verification phone

The support is beyond terrible. It is only email, they do have chat on their website, but nobody answers. It can takes weeks to get any response and the responses read like they are answering someone else's questions. The product is not customer friendly and definitely not business friendly. I would not recommend it to anyone.

Response is terrible. U can not talk to a person. U get emails asking the same questions I have already answered. They tell u keep looking for the email with link to deposit, I never received email. They said will pass on to someone else, who will ask n say the some thing. I have been getting check since 2020. But in Jan for the past 2 or 3 years the deposit email stop coming. I chat n email with them asking them to fix the problem, And i keep asking. It is now Feb 28, I am still asking for checks/money from Jan.

I had concerns about an electronic deposit of a check related to a lawsuit settlement. I reached out for help, and Giovanni took my information and escalated my question. Rose responded a week later with some needed information and, with that information, I was able to confirm the deposit. I apologized for adding to the confusion, and Rose very graciously responded. I appreciate the attention I got from Rose and Giovanni, and thank them for resolving my concerns.

Checkbook.io is a TERRIBLE Business!! It is so unfortunate that they are integrated in Doorloop's Software. Knowing myself, I never would go out of my way to write a review but i'm so dissatisfied with their service and professionalism. Communication is the arch of a good business and they show little to none. From their support chat in app to their email support.checkbook.io. Needing to request a limit increase, i've submitted multiple Bank Statements and Photos of myself holding an I'd. I started my account back in December and we are now coming to the end of February. They've manage to tell me this month that my bank statements address doesn't match my business address. With do details on how to fix this, I responded with my Bank Statements are my home address where my account was set up and Business address is my Office location. As of now I'm not sure what to do next, and honestly this has put a halt to my business. After speaking with Doorloop's service reps they are not happy with Checkbooks services either.

Checkbook.io has been a huge disappointment. They NEVER get back to you. I am about to cancel my property management software because of Checkbook. There is no common sense. How do you limit an outgoing payment to 2k per day when the rent collected was over 5k?!! Unfortunately my software integrates with Checkbook to make payments. So far customer NO service. It is 2/7 and I have been trying to resolve this issue since the third week in Jan. So bad!

How can you trust or rely upon a financial services / payments company that 1) has no phone number to speak with actual humans (their 1-800 number is a message that directs you to EMAIL someone)... and 2) requires you to wait 3 HOURS! just to text CHAT with someone on the web. And I'm supposed to trust them to save my bank account number?

This company is fraudulent and a scam, and they do not answer the phone. I received two checks through email from America PAC for the Elon Musk petition referral program. Checkbook.io sent the checks.
I deposited the checks via mobile deposit and my bank flagged the checks and shut my account down saying the checks were fraudulent. When I tried to dispute this matter and explained that they are not fraud, Wells Fargo told me they require verification from Checkbook.io to prove the checks were legitimate. I sent over 30 detailed emails as well as attempted to call them. When you call them, it says “no support agents are available. Leave your number and email and someone will get back to you” and nobody ever calls you.
All I needed them to do was call from a verified phone number and tell my bank the checks were legitimate. They couldn’t even do that.
What financial business does not operate using the phone? It makes no sense.
When I finally do get an email back, it isn’t helpful at all, and my support inquiry is closed and marked completed.
My bank is closing my account on 2/4/25 if I can’t get the checks verified by then. My funds are being held by bank, and I will have to have my long awaited checks recalled and then re-issued if I can’t get this done.

Ach electronic payment submitted to known bank account from approved bank account
Sent as a snail mail paper check and took over 7 days.
Tried multiple days/times to get help through chat - nothing but endless loop of chat bot responses no matter what I typed.
Tried to call and just got instructions for how to send an email.
The ACH was SUPPOSED to take 2 days, but took 7. Bill was late. Late fee incurred. Nothing I could do since I was stuck in the "processing" Loop

Absolute worst Customer Service. It took them a week to respond to a question I had submitted through their chat box after selecting to speak to a live agent. A couple of weeks later I had another question and it has yet to be answered. The only reason we have not dropped them is because it is integrated with another software program we use. We may have to drop both soon if this doesn't improve.
Update on 1-27-2025 - The support message I sent on 1-9-2025 & again on 1-10-2025 still has not been answered or even acknowledged. The automated chat says:
"We're offline. Check back later or leave your email to be notified when an agent responds."
I left my email then the chat says: "You'll get an email when an agent replies to your request"
I have not had a response as of today 1-27-2025.

It took me no less than 10 emails back-and-forth, with unclear instruction provided to get resolution. The dashboard is very unclear on how to self service any action. The fact that there is no 800 number to call is very frustrating. The only bright spot was that my helpful emails were responded to very quickly. I would not recommend this service.

Checkbook quickly took charge, when I had a problem with a deposit. In no time another payment was issued and went directly into my account!
