Turned up on time , loaded van quickly and very cheerfully, at new house we had to wait 3 hrs for keys ( bank messing about ) but unloading went uneventfully and away 90 mins later , hard working and cheerful too , highly recommend Chris and his team

Packing on the first day went well although quite a lot was left for moving day. On the day, they arrived later than I was told to expect, I was then told we would be on the road to the new house before lunchtime but then one van was elsewhere completing a job so it was 2:30pm before we set off. Communication was poor (they set off without telling me, meaning they were then waiting for me at the new house). Unloading was quick (an hour total) but some items were placed in the wrong room (they assumed based on where they had been before but didn’t ask) and there wasn’t much consideration for what we would need access to in terms of how items were placed in rooms (one room we had to empty in order to be able to start unpacking). Our plants were fairly damaged, some books were bent and our bathroom unit had two legs snapped off the back - it was propped against the wall so I’d be surprised if they didn’t realise this was done when they put it there. Would not use again.

To address the points made below:

It’s true that the lift was out of service for a few hours on the packing day (not all day). Given this, I don’t understand why the time that would have been used for loading wasn’t used to complete the packing - when we arrived home on Sunday all three bedrooms and our large storage cupboard had not been touched. The team told me we would be leaving before lunchtime when they arrived on Monday and were fully aware of what they still had to do - I was told the delay was because the other van they needed was delayed on a job in Northwich, not because of the lift issues.

Although no designated parking is available outside the apartment, we had arranged with the council for the van to park on the side street alongside our building. This was communicated to the office both verbally and in writing in advance and to the movers on the packing day.

I informed you of the broken bathroom unit within 5 minutes of submitting the review. You have not responded to that email at all or offered any restitution via the review response.

As you didn’t counter any of the other points, I assume that you concede them. If anything, your response makes me more convinced that the rating I’ve selected is a fair reflection of our experience.

Cheshire Removals team Jason, Nick & Jack were absolutely amazing, they are a real credit to your company, will highly recommend family & friends.

Had a fantastic experience from start to finish and would highly recommend. Janet, the lady who sorted the booking was extremely pleasant, understanding and helpful. Tom, Dan and the other young man who packed up the day before the move were all brilliant, packing with care and consideration and being very patient with my Dads high anxiety levels. On the day, Tom, Dan and Michael all did a fantastic job getting us moved out and into the new property, putting things in sensible locations and asking where things should go, positioning heavy items in exactly the right place. I literally cannot fault them - huge thanks guys!!

This is the best moving company we have used. The reservation process was very simple and the lady on the end of the phone was lovely. The chaps on the day were also amazing and helpful.

Made what can be a relatively stressful experience (moving house) as easy and efficient as possible. All staff were friendly, polite, considerate and easy to work with. Cheshire removals we’re recommended to me and I would definitely recommend them to others

The 3 removal men, Tom and 2 Dave's were excellent. They took good care of our belongings and our property. They were extremely pleasant and obliging. Our whole experience with Cheshire Removals from the initial visit to the final box deposited at our new home was efficient and reassuring.

Absolutely amazing experience with this outfit - the house move was done with such care, attention and organisation that I could not fault anything, at all.

From start to finish Cheshire Removals were really helpful and supportive. Their preliminary visit was reassuring and we had a very smooth removal from Cheshire to Hampshire.

The removal men were great and nothing was too much trouble for them. This was a hard move and a long day which was made much easier by the cheerful staff.

Cheshire Removals were fantastic every step of the way. The day after calling them a chap popped out and gave a competitive quote. Paula in the office was then on hand to answer lots of questions and pencil in our date. Super helpful! We paid for the packing service. Three lads did a great job. Arrived bang on time, everything was boxed up quickly and the van was packed, all the day before completion. The following day they were at the new property with our stuff early doors. Once we got the keys, five lads got everything into a 4 bed house in less than 2 hours. We’re now unpacked and everything is fine. A perfect move, no stress, had a laugh with the lads and everything done quickly. Highly recommend!

This is the second time I’ve used Cheshire Int. Removals and I’d use them again and again. Everything of their service is amazing from the initial enquiry call to the actual move. Everybody is friendly and professional and the movers are careful with the items they’re carrying and equally as careful not to scrape those items along a wall. Just an absolutely fabulous company to deal with.

Two hardworking lads loaded in the miserable rain, managed to keep things mainly dry. Unloaded and moved furniture around the new house, really would recommend Cheshire Removals, communication from the office / admin was also great, thanks!

A really positive and smooth experience with Cheshire Removals moving a hefty laser engraving machine from one unit to another with a narrow doorway.

From our initial call to the office (we spoke to Paula who was really friendly, empathetic to our situation and very efficient in dealing with our request, quotation and updates and follow ups) to checks that everything was still OK to go ahead from Janet, through to the superb removals team on the day (a big shout out goes to Charlie, Austin, Jason, Tom H. and Rob M.); everything was great and we cannot thank you all enough. We hired a team and a TEAM is what we got; all working brilliantly together and alongside our laser engineer, with consideration and respect for the machine, dealing with the logistics of a challenging situation, health and safety including looking out for one another, plus they were all friendly, pleasant, polite and helpful throughout.

Cheshire Removals took the stress out of what was quite a stressful situation and we cannot recommend them highly enough.

The service from start to finish was excellent. Communication and advice before the day from the office staff was really valuable. On the day of the move ( 10 days ago) the team were prompt, polite and so efficient. Nothing was too much trouble and they made what is a stressful day so much easier. We chose Cheshire Removals as they came up with a good plan and a very competitive quote for a three day move. From Duncan, who came to set up the quote to Paula and Janet in the Office, who held our hands metaphorically, after a delayed exchange and a very fraught time when we had to go ahead with the removal the next morning or cancel?? We took the gamble and went ahead. As it happened exchange DID take place eventually and completion the next day but they were there at the end of the phone waiting patiently and reassuring us! Dave, Tom and Max, the packing and removing team did a great job working from early morning to late in the evening. They were constantly patient and respected the property, we couldn’t have had a better team! The next day was even harder with, in effect, split drop offs, but constantly cheerful they worked tirelessly to get everything moved in safely.My daughter, son in law and I would heartily recommend the company.
