"This has been the worst experience I've ever had with a car rental company. The agent quoted me $149.00, but ended up charging me nearly $500. When I tried to cancel the rental, they refused to refund my $80 deposit. This is clearly a scam! They included fraudulent information in the contract and completely denied any responsibility, claiming that this was what their sales agent had stated. The vehicle already had 150,000 kilometers on it. This is completely unacceptable and should be reported by everyone! On the last day of my rental, I rented another car from Enterprise and everything was transparent and fair. The cost was even less than half of what Clubs Car Rental charged

The worst experience ever. Although I paid for the rental inluding insurance and taxes after booking, they wanted to charge close to 400 extra, allegedly for taxes. They also claimed, that paying for sunpass was mandatory.

These people are running a scam based on a loop hole. They advertise cheaper rates on third party sites then claim they have nothing to do with the third party site info. They only accept a handful of car insurance and if you happen to actually have one of the ones they accept please be aware that they require a 500K liability insurance coverage. Which most average drivers don't carry. They force you to buy their insurance at $39.99 per day fir the liability insurance and $29.99 for the collision insurance. That's on top of their daily rental rate. You will end up paying about $80 per day if you end up using them and you don't have the required coverage thru an ACCEPTED insurance company. It is not cheaper to use this company. That amount of money for an older model rental in insane. Do yourself a favor and skip this place. You will not be saving any money with them.

En primer lugar deben tener un personal que entregue el auto aunque estén cerrados porqué llegar al aeropuerto y quedarte sin auto porque cierran a las 9 de la noche. El auto alquilado no le funcionaba los aires atrás, les comuniqué y quedaron en cambiar la unidad y nunca me llamaron. Es un engaño todo así que no se los recomiendo a nadie

Beware - insurance scam!!
The same thing as in previous reviews happened to us even though we have American insurance, it cost us an additional $500. I will just copy the review I am referring to in here instead of typing everything again:
Stay away from this company. They will lure you through a low quote to book. once you're in their office they will refuse the CDW that is offered from your credit card company and also your personal insurance even if the insurance has the OPCF27 endorsement which is valid in Canada and the USA and was accepted by the respectable Avis rent a car without any problem .The booking company 'economy bookings ' will never alert you that if you are Canadian that this car rental will not accept your personal insurance thus leaving you stranded and without a car in a foreign country. And what are the chances that you might have coverage with one of the insurance companies that the car rental is accepting since almost all of them are not operating in Canada . Such issue makes the online booking company an accomplice with the car rental company in gouging and scamming the customers .

Clubs car rental was amazing! Jesus was a great help. He is very friendly and professional. He picked us up from the airport to get the rental car and dropped us back off. His customer service was absolutely fantastic! We will rent a car here every time when we come back to Miami!

Gracias a Club pude rentar mi auto sin contra tiempo. Me recogieron en el aeropuerto, me gustó mucho.

Tuve la oportunidad de rentar con ellos en agosto, me acerqué con la dirección que me dio el asesor quien me comunicó y pagué lo que me indicaron. Realmente volvería a utilizar sus servicios para mi siguiente viaje

Muy buen servicio. El carro espectacular y siempre se respetaron lo acuerdos pactados. Al regresar a Orlando los contrataré nuevamente.

Me recogieron junto a mi familia la hora indicada en el aeropuerto, hicimos un recorrido corto y me entregaron el carro en perfecto estado, me dejaron claros los costos y fueron muy cordiales, totalmente recomendado.

Good car, easy process they pick up at the airport and take you to the office. They have the car ready with the AC on. I always purchase full coverage to avoid any incidents and they give me a deal with the tolls.

Very pleased with the service and vehicle. They gave us a Rav4.

This is a long review but read it if you want to avoid a big mistake and headache.
I’ve booked probably 50 rental cars in my life and I know how it works. I’ve had some disappointing experiences before, but never anything like this and I’ve never left a review before today.
They run their operation out of a portable office trailer. Every other rental car company tires to sell you on their insurance but i was an insurance agent for 20 years and I know that if you have full coverage insurance then your policy almost always covers rental cars. So I never buy the insurance. Well in clubs super fine print (literally you would have to read 10 pages of fine print to have noticed this) they say your policy must 1. be with one of their 5 listed insurance companies (which is stupid, but my policy is with liberty mutual which happened to be on their list) and
2. It needs to have (are you ready for this?!) 300,000 property damage coverage or else you MUST buy their outrageously priced rental insurance. My week long rental jumped more than 4x more expensive than I thought I was agreeing to.
I have 250k/500k/100k (100k being the property damage part which is higher coverage than the vast majority out there. The state requirement in most states is 15k. 95% of America has 100k or lower limits (google it) and this company says you need $300k coverage lol.
To put that in perspective…if you caused a 15 car pile up (rare) that caused damage to 15 other cars at 10k each that is still only 150k property damage. I called my former college and insurance agent of 10 years and he laughed and said “you know no one has that”
So in other words they bait and switch you get with low daily rental rates but NO ONE one will have 300k coverage. So you are stuck there without a ride and you have to buy their overpriced rental insurance or you are stranded. They know exactly what they are doing and shame on them.

Reached the rental location which we sat outside for 30 minutes before allow in the office. Once inside were told that we owed $35.00 a day for additional insurance and $15.00 per day for tolls. This added an additional $500.00 to the cost of the rental on the original quote of $149.00 plus taxes.

Would rate it a zero if I could. I was another sucker for booking this because of the low price, then forced to use their overpriced car insurance.
This place is a scam!

If I could give it a negative rating, I surely would. I have contacted “Economy Bookings” about the shady business dealings that Clubs Car Rental and their booking agency participate in. Your representative acts as if they are not aware of the bait and switch tactic of quoting a booking price and then forcing customers to pay additional fees and basic protection plans at an outrageous rate after the customer is shuttled to your office. The automobile insurance industry has a standard PIP level that they recommend on automobile policies and it is $300,000.00 bodily injury and $100,000.00 property damage. It is obvious that you have buried this $300,000.00 property damage “requirement” in your fine print to trap people into buying your grossly overpriced basic coverage.

Now that I have read your reviews, I see that this is a commonly complained about business trick that you use and apparently you continue to get away with it. I will surely spread the word about the dishonest tactic that you use and as I told your representative: “This is the first time that I have used your rental service.” As a result of your terrible business ethic, it will also be the last time that I use your service and Economy Bookings.
