Run from these crooks like a plague. I am trying to find a lawyer to sue them. They are an absolute SCAM!

First of all you guys are a rip off you don't tell the customer that they have to have $300,000 and insurance in order to rent a car basically if they don't which 99% of the people don't have a $300,000 insurance policy they're forced to buy your insurance policy. On top of that the fact of the matter is your assistance person was rude and disrespectful I had to pay $149 on top of the money that I paid from rentalcars.com. Yes it was a third-party person that was supposed to have been the only money that I spent. There was nothing anywhere that mentioned that I would be forced to get insurance from you guys for additional money. Also when I went to drop the car off, no one was there. according to the other car provider , you guys were gone for the evening. I made sure to let the individual who I rented the car from know that I had a late night flight on Sunday. That I will be bringing the car back at 8pm at night. Because that was after the 9am time that I originally rented the car, I had to pay for an additional day.
The other rental car place called a shuttle guy who pissed off and decided that he didn't want to help us. He would not let us explain the situation. He actually walked away and said oh well I'm not taking you guys to the airport! He walked away while I was talking. My whole experience with you guys was totally an atrocity of mass proportions for any rental car company. Your employees are disrespectful. Your policies are misleading and your services are absolutely terrible. I had to beg your driver to give me a ride to the airport. Me and my 10 year old were so vulnerable, out at night, in a place that we don't know literally having to plead with a stranger, who it was obvious could care less if we made it back to the airport safely. Clubs car rental is the most predatory car rental company I have ever utilized in my 20 years of traveling. Please know that I will be going on every rental car site that I can to report about your company.

I wish I'd done more research first, but I trusted Discover Cars to provide us with a safe and reputable care hire firm. I was wrong. Don't make this mistake, just avoid.

Hired a car from Clubs Car rentals Orlando for our honeymoon. Awful experience. Booked through Discover Cars we had all the paperwork in place showing all the details. First, Clubs Cars sent us details about picking the car up in Miami which was concerning, then when corrected they had the wrong me as the wrong customer. Got this sorted, then finally when we arrived in Orlando, we were driven to a dimly lit car pound with a shack in the corner and presented with paperwork to sign for significantly more than what was agreed with Discover Cars.

Despite repeatedly pointing out that it clearly stated the price on the booking and that no extra fees or taxes were payable, they made us pay sizeable extra admin fees and then charged us the state tax on the whole bill all over again (this was already paid). We were told we had to pay it, if didn't, we needed to leave and wouldn't get the car. There was no assistance afro anyone available, Discover Cars don't put a contact number on their paperwork, and when I searched online they were based in Latvia and it was 1am there.

Had to pay it as it was evening and after 18 hours of travelling, we still had a long drive ahead. We then spent the next 2 weeks wondering how much we were going to get shafted when we returned the car.

I am in the process of taking this up with Discover Cars so await an outcome, but as it stands I would never use Clubs Cars Orlando/Miami ever again. They simply cannot be trusted.

Cannot contact discovery cars, clubs car rental as car is faulty, very worrying, no answer to phone calls , text messages, if club car rentals read this, highly unlikely will they please contact us

HORRIBLE RENTAL CAR COMPANY-LEFT US STRANDED, KEPT DEPOSIT, EUROPEAN OPERATORS THAT ARE NASTY....THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM. WHATEVER YOU DO MOVE ON TO ANOTHER CAR COMPANY, THEY OFFER CHEAP RATES AND THEN BAIT AND SWITCH!!

‼️AVOID AT ALL COSTS‼️ I only wish that we had read these reviews before booking! I agree with every negative comment stated as we had the same AWFUL experience! This company are nothing but SCAMMERS and CON ARTISTS. They openly lied that the tolls no longer accepted cash since Covid and even after we had driven through one minutes earlier PAYING CASH the agent said this couldn’t have happened! They charged $15 a day for a Sunpass, failing to tell us that all toll charges had been suspended in Florida due to the recent hurricane. They remained suspended for two weeks of our holiday! The office would not reply to messages as they were aware that they had lied but just thought they could get away with it. We are pursuing them through our bank for the return of all mis-sold and fraudulent charges. There are hundreds of UK sites for Brits eager to visit Disney/Orlando all looking for travel tips. I look forward to spreading the word that this company are nothing but liars and thieves.

The car was in a dangerous condition, the rear tyres were badly worn and slid out on wet roads. The rental office is a dingy hole and outside of the airport grounds so when they get you there you’re stuck paying the charges they heap on top of the rental. The rental may look cheap but it’s not. If you don’t pay the additional $15 a day to activate the sunpass toll tag, they activate it anyway and monitor the tolls you go through and charge a penalty of €30 a toll plus the toll fee even when you pay cash at the toll. Clubs put my myself and my family in a dangerous car that lost grip and came closest I’ve ever been to crashing in over 30 of years driving.

Reading the other reviews I wish I’d known the information before I booked them but I booked through discovery cars and didn’t know who Clubs Cars Rentals until they turned up at the airport. Our flight was late we were very tired and when they over charged me I questioned it but reluctantly accepted the amount. The vehicle had over 30000 mile on the clock and a number of items didn’t work. Upon returning the vehicle I was told that they would refund the deposit. Obviously despite several emails I am yet to receive anything. This company is a bunch of crooks!!

Crooks do not rent from them. Charged 50% more than agreed at time of booking SCAM

Horrible they added so many feees and lied to us on getting our 300 dollars deposit back !! Definitely a SCAM! I have tried to get in contact with them and they never replied! DO NOT rent from them!

When I saw the prices, I thought it was too good to be true.
Unfortunately, it was not true. The moment we arrived, the customer ahead of us told us his frustrating story and encouraged us to try anywhere else but here. I wish I would have turned around right then and there.
The staff insisted that we purchase extra coverage for the vehicle when I had already purchased what their website called "Full Coverage" ahead of time. I showed my proof of this plus car insurance, yet they wanted more. Apparently, full coverage does not cover everything. The customers behind me were running into the same issues, it was a nightmare, and we all just gave up. Getting out of there was the smartest thing I did that day.
The only plus was that they drove us back to the airport. We ended up renting from a company at the airport and I never looked back.

Save yourself, this is just a scam. Don't do it.

Review for the Orlando Airport office: Worst rental experience ever. I thought my luck was in when I found car rental so cheap, and later realised that this business is set up as a honey-trap. On arrival they tried to talk me into taking a very expensive SunPass option, but I said I had made my own arrangements which they accepted without dispute. Then on return, they presented me with a $500 bill for violating the terms of the agreement using my own E-pass (despite a clear discussion on the matter), and when I would not pay they then refused to take me and my arthritic father to the airport (so breaking an implied term of contract), so we had to take an Uber. They tried to take $500 from the credit card, but the credit card company eventually found in my favour because I could demonstrate there was no meeting of the minds on that part of the hire contract. Rent from this company at your peril.
