The guys Sam and Connor were excellent and explained the work they did when servicing our units very well. They were polite and a good laugh. Managed to complete the job quickly and thoroughly whilst telling me how to run the clean mode for the coming months.

The guys turned up exactly at 8.00am as booked. Very respectful and removed shoes when coming in . They where super efficient got straight on with the job and done in just over an hour. Brillant service would highly recommend them

As usual, exceptional service from CoolYou. Had a leaky wall unit when switched on, emailed the team in the mid afternoon to see when they could come and help, the next morning (first thing) they were on site. Sam was excellent, knew what he was doing and identified and then rectified the issue very quickly without having to use parts etc. very happy and the service was friendly and professional from start to finish.

Being a ground floor apartment there was not necessarily an easy path through the ceiling space to locate the wiring but the team did a great job persevering until it was done. I am really pleased to have the unit installed and it works so well and so quietly - thank you!

Sam did my A/C maintenance and was absolutely fantastic. He is professional and knows his stuff well. He is able and willing to explain how the whole thing works and how to use the A/C units more efficiently. I enjoyed conversations with him, and the units produced by this company are unlike any other.

Sam - the CoolYou engineer - provided a first class service - quick, efficient, amazing helpful and showed us how to keep our AC in its best condition. Highly, highly recommended.

Andrew was great for the 6-month service. He gave me guidance on how to clean the system every 3 months when not in use.

Andrew came in the afternoon of 16 September and most efficiently checked and confirmed that the system was functioning perfectly.

We’ve had Cool You air conditioners for 5 years and have been happy with the equipment and the service.
Andrew came this morning for his annual service visit. As always he was very polite and efficient.
Cool You is very expensive, but having air conditioners makes a huge difference during summers like the last one.
I would definitely recommend.

Had a really really poor experience with cool you.

Had two surveys of flat to discuss where to install air conditioning units. During survey they said pipework would be hidden in ceiling and I was reassured that holes and damage to ceiling and walls would be kept at a minimum.

On day of installation I wasn’t in but person who let them in said Cool You engineer had no idea where units were going or what the plan was - they had to show them, despite two surveys. I was later told there was an installation video on file they should have viewed. Didn’t fill me with confidence - they either didn’t watch it or didn’t understand it at all. The website also advertises installation in one day.

Got a call at ~14:30 in afternoon that pipework would have to be exposed. I was annoyed about change, would have to box them in, but these things happen. I then went to the flat at 15:00 to see / ask questions and found the Cool You engineer had already left without finishing the installation. I also found several very large holes, many more than suggested during the surveys. The Cool You employee who told me about the change was surprised they had already left, obviously wasn’t communicated, and said they would come later in the week.

Later that week they cancelled in the afternoon. Installation pushed back to after a bank holiday. To be fair - they did offer a free maintenance visit in the future for the delay. However, pushing back was costly as it delayed making good work and other decorating works in the flat, which cost more due to more extensive damage to walls and ceiling.

Cool You arrived post bank holiday. Did the remaining work. 10pm that evening get call that flat below has water pouring through their ceiling. Have to call out emergency plumber. Pipe installed by Cool You leaking, put together haphazardly, also very cheap according to plumber. Plumber has to contain leak at midnight, return next day to finish the job. Cool You, again to be fair, did pay for plumber to finish job, and said I could remove emergency call out charge I had to pay for from final bill.

The air conditioning did not work after this point. Looking at the compressor, two cables were left disconnected (not by plumber, called to check). The toilet that was used to supply the cold water was continually flushing (again not touched by plumber). Fortunately not leaking, but had to turn off valve to w/c to prevent more wasted water / leaks.

Asked for further review of the system - which doesn’t work, has cost more money than necessary, and more stress. Was told engineer would look at his diary and give me a date, now almost 2 weeks ago. That engineer did say he was going away, but I raised issues above to other Cool You team members and no one else has got in touch on when they will fix it. Have had to chase - which feels like poor customer service when they installed such a bad system.

I am now stuck with this system which I hope will work eventually. Cool You have offered reimbursements along the way, but the repeated problems are upsetting when paying so much for a supposedly seamless premium product.

A warning to others!

PS if you buy your downstairs neighbours chocolate and wine they just might forgive you after Cool You come to call!

I was very satisfied with the call out to diagnose and fix a faulty unit. The engineer turned up on time, was very polite and considerate and dealt with the issue quickly and professionally. The engineer went above and beyond to deal with my issue. The pump was installed without mess and he made sure I was satisfied with everything before he left.
