I am writing this review to warn potential customers about the misleading and opaque billing practices at Daipost. My experience with shipment WMG00000872725 has been a frustrating ordeal, stalling from June 12, 2026, to the current date, July 6, 2026, with no resolution.1
On June 12, Daipost initially contacted me claiming my parcel was held for 'applicable GST' amounting to SGD$144.21. It was only after I questioned the total that they admitted the amount included a 'Formal Clearance Fee'—a disclosure that was completely absent from their initial demand. When challenged, they claimed these fees are government-mandated, yet they have failed to provide any pricing logic, official policy documentation, or valid proof that these are customs charges rather than their own internal broker fees.1
For context, I have paid the standard 9% GST on multiple similar items from the same region in recent weeks without incurring these 'formal clearance' costs, making Daipost’s sudden imposition of this fee highly suspicious. As of July 6, nearly a month later, my delivery remains on hold because Daipost has yet to provide the requested invoice or documentation to back up their claims.
I find it deeply unethical to misrepresent carrier brokerage fees as government-mandated charges to customers. I strongly advise others to be aware of these hidden costs and the lack of transparency in Daipost’s communication.
My parcel was meant to arrive today but no one rang the door bell. I have been home all day and no one attempted delivery. It has now been delivered to a location not near my home and over two suburbs away. I've checked the hubbed map and several other locations within one kilometre could have been selected and were actually on the way to this location if the driver was near my home.
Knocked my letterbox over after delivering package. Refused responsibility by showing a photo of it up right when delivered. Of course it was up right when you arrived. It was on the way out it got knocked over. Unproffesional. I didnt want money or anything other than acknowledgement of wrong doing and a sorry. Got neither.
Disposed of my shipment as they failed to deliver! When asked why or how to complain - said contact shipper, they take no responsibility.
I found the courier company to be very communicative with emails of my parcel arriving. I sent a comment to leave safely within my gate if I was not home which they did. And was sent a follow up email after delivery. I had no problems receiving my parcel.
Echoing the many complaints about packages being stuck and delays in delivery timing, I would still like to highlight the exceptional service provided by DAIPost’s customer service team, particularly Lerry Barcoma and Erika Dapar.
Erika was helpful and professional in assisting with my concerns, and I appreciate her support throughout the process. I would especially like to commend Lerry, who was exceptionally patient, responsive, and consistent in following up with me. He attended to my queries promptly and assisted with resolving the outstanding shipping charges, which made a frustrating situation much more manageable.
Thank you to both Erika and Lerry for their assistance.
Worst delivery experience I have ever had and next worst is not even close.
I was told they could not deliver to my PO Box Plus, which accepts external delivery companies (have had Fedex and DHL deliver there in the past with no issue). With no updates for weeks after requesting a redirection to my home address, I called and was told they couldn't deliver to my home either...with no explanation as to why that is the case. Now I have to go to the warehouse in Dandenong South to pick up my package, which is over an hour from my home. What service am I actually paying for here...
I have already contacted my supplier and requested they never use DAI Post again, I advise everyone else to do the same.
Parcel was stuck in transit for close to a month. When they eventually reached out for me to pay 'clearance fees' I made payment immediately and it has been radio silence ever since.
Have a package that arrived in Australia 2 weeks ago and hasn't moved since. After 4 phone calls and 2 emails they finally told me the package was damaged and is now under investigation, and that I would hear from them within 5 business days. Of course, 5 business days later, I haven't heard anything...
Nightmare, what a crap company
This is my first experience with DAI Post, and unfortunately, I am very disappointed with the service.
My parcel was sent directly to a collection point, and it appears that no delivery attempt was made, as I was home all day. In addition, I did not receive any email, SMS, or other notification advising me that the parcel was available for collection. I only discovered its status myself by checking the tracking information.
Based on this experience, I will be providing feedback to the sender and recommending that they consider alternative delivery providers in the future.
I had a package arrive from the UK. Quickly cleared customs and had a set delivery time of 2-4 days after. Nearly two weeks later, the package hadn't moved. After a week of chatting with customer service they eventually admitted to having lost the parcel.
My parcel has been sitting in Brisbane since 18 June. The delivery due date is 25-29 June. I have sent emails asking why it takes so long to be delivered when it's only two hours from me. Only response is that I will be contacted in one business day and how I can track my parcel and contact them online. And surprise surprise, no one contacted me. So I called. I was on the phone for 10 minutes because that was how long it apparently took them to find my parcel. When I eventually got to tell him that I knew where it was and that I wanted to know why the wait, I was told it was because I didn't pay express postage and they don't work on the weekends. Then as I am talking he starts talking over the top of me and hangs up.
When they emailed to say they couldn't deliver it, I replied saying it was fine and I'd pick it up from a depot\collection point. It took the bot (must have been a bot - any real person would have resolved it at this point) 18 days to provide a pickup address.
My prepaid package ordered on 26.5.26 arrived in Singapore on 9.6.26 and I was informed of the duty being charged to it. I was also told to pay a whopping service fee for processing the duty which I also paid. In spite of the payments, I have had no news as to when I will receive my package even up till date. Atrocious service is a definite understatement here. I have never come across such uninspiring and terrible service standards. Ebay should use other reliable courier companies.
I contacted Dai to request my parcel be delievered to Australia Post, but was told it would cost an additional fee. Instead, they would add a delivery note ensuring the package would be dropped off securely. Unfortunately, it was just dumped at the front of the mailing area where anyone could take it. Highly disappointed.
I’ve been unfortunate enough to have three parcels shipped to me from overseas by DaiPost. They have been reliable in only one thing - not delivering.
They have 100% success at not delivering. You can give them all the information you have to help them and they will drop the ball and fail to deliver.
EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.
SLow , Incompetent. Parcel for Singapore . I paid GST and its been 2 weeks , got an email saying they are still checking their funds if i have paid the GST !!!??? Third world countries would perform more effectively .This is Singapore , everything moves fast . If you cannot perform , pls get out and let a better logistic company take over the business
Parcel was disposed of! The parcel was a gift sent from my brother. I received no information about the package being held, so when it didn’t turn up I started trying to track it. This is when I spent days with multiple calls between the DAFF (which said the package should not have been disposed of) Freight Hawk and only to find that DAI had disposed of the parcel. Their reasoning was that the parcel contained cocoa beans which it did NOT. DAI said they could not contact me because there was no information on the parcel to do so. THEY HAD MY ADDRESS!!!
In the past I’ve had parcels that have been held and they send a card in the mail saying a parcel is held with a contract number. Then the parcel arrives checked by DAFF and they leave a card inside to let me know that it has been opened checked and nothing removed.
DAI WILL NOT CHECK AND JUST THROW YOUR PARCEL OUT!!
Hi there. My parcel was held up by Customs!Having ordered exactly the same items previously I was somewhat bemused and highly disappointed.I was contacted by the team at Daipost …especially Angelica Canete…who on a regular basis asked for important information particular to my case.By this stage I was in a state of fluster…a psychologist would describe it as more akin to chronic stress mixed with episodes of depression. Not good.Anyway, having provided the required information I was kept well informed as to the status of my case over several days.I was deeply concerned that my parcel would be destroyed and my money wasted. Then yesterday a miracle happened!
Angelica told me my parcel had been cleared by Customs!Yay!After recovering from disbelief I waited patiently looking out the window for the courier driver….and he delivered!I was overwhelmed by happiness!Sincerest and heartfelt thanks to the team at Daipost…and especially Angelica…for her tireless effort in helping me through this difficult life experience. The end.
my purchased product that the company says will be delivered within 3-4 business days, instead sat with DAI Post for 6 business days (9th - 17th June), before they sent it on to Australia Post.. and no updated tracking information regularly nothing. company where i purchased product didnt get any answers from them either.. CRAP service by DAI Post.
