DCTUK Avis 

Not very helpful staff, I asked for an optimum layout plan for a T shaped hallway and provided an accurate floor plan but DCTUK declined my request. Ordering very easy although I had to order 40 tiles when I only required 32 which basically swallowed up the discount i was offered. Promised delivery within 7-10 working days, now 7 working days since ordering and no delivery date recieved from DCTUK or the courier.

Found DCTuk by chance on a google search. They have a fantastic range of carpets and they are reasonably priced. I ordered some carpet tiles for a job I was doing at a school, the tiles are great quality and stuck down really well. Client was extremely happy with the end result.
Definitely would recommend DCTuk for any carpet needs.

Have used this company three times during lockdown, couldn’t fault them or the flooring however the fitters are a different story (not DCTUK staff).

Bought these tiles with a bit of trepidation as sometimes It is difficult to get a feel for things on line. I needn’t have worried as they were absolutely first class - great service, great communication and great product. They were so good, I bought the company! Actually I didn’t buy the company but I’m going to buy some more tiles off them!

Was easy to order, was kept informed and the tiles arrived within 10 days. They are really good quality and am planning on ordering more for another room in the house

We contacted DCTUK because they had exactly the right colour carpet tiles we needed for a big refurb we were doing. Heather spent a lot of time with me, ensuring that we got the right type and colour tiles that we needed for the type of traffic in that area of our office and then she spent even more time getting what we wanted within our budget. Then disaster struck and their supplier wasn't able to deliver in time, so Ross put on his Superman cape and was able to secure a similar, but better quality tile, but for the same price. Once we pressed the green light with DCTUK, everything happened very quickly. The adhesive was delivered the day after and the tiles the day after that. We would highly recommend this company for going above and beyond in their Customer Service and quality of product and we will definitely be using them again! Thank you DCTUK

We are preferred contractors to Lloyd’s banking group, DCTUK have been supplying us with carpet tiles for a recent Bank refurbishment, they are very knowledgeable, well priced, great availability, excellent dispatch speed and delivery, I have no issues at all with recommending them to the trade and domestic customers.

Great Quality Carpet Tiles and a Great Service

Great service - delivery on time and good product.
I would recommend DCTUK for carpet tiles.

If you’re pushed for time (or at least want it done in a given window period) I would recommend you burn your money and find another company - this will save you great time, stress and (ironically) money.

One star does not quite accurately describe the experience we had with DCTUK.

A job started on the 30/06/2021 and completed on 20/08/2021 - not even 1000 sqft. That’s 51 days in total (including weekends) for a job that was predicted to take 4/5 days.

The key problems occurred:

1. Delayed delivery of flooring, meaning the fitters had to come back the next day. Told to be the fault of their own supplier (if my work was through their supplier, then it would be unfair to be dissatisfied with DCTUK on this point).
2. Incorrect calculation of materials (not once, but four times). Despite asking Adam Turner whether any measurements could be clearer or if they wanted someone to come in and have a look, but to no avail. Funnily, he was happy to ring me every day asking if I was ready to pay the invoice.
3. Raising a second invoice. Furthermore, they requested a second payment due to incorrect calculations on their end (of approx. £936). Naturally, this led to further delays.
4. Our primary fitters were sent off to another job because I had apparently complained about them to Marta Bukat - which I never did (in fact, I got along with them very well). In order to find a replacement, builders from London were sent up but were unable to complete the job due to insufficient vinyl. Another order, another delay.
5. Lack of internal communication within DCTUK: 4 weeks into the project, I began communications with James Hennessy - the operations manager who had no idea about these delays (forgive me, truly, but I believe this is the purpose of having a manager).

It is not possible to isolate the finishing of the flooring from the experience as a whole. The two are inextricably linked.

What a wonderful, caring experience!
Online shopping has always bugged me, being faceless and chats hiding behind automated responses. I was in a pickle and needed help, forced to use the chat option.
The chat was a person! AND he made good on his word with follow-up emails & telephone calls.

Have ordered a number of times and am very impressed with the quality of the carpet tiles. Easy to lay and hard wearing. Sadly my last order was let down by the stock manager. I initially placed an order for 88 tiles, not realising that they only come in packs of 20. I paid the extra for 100 tiles, better than risking too few. I made the mistake of not counting the tiles until I had done the job a couple of months later where I find I am number of tiles short, I count the tiles to find that I only got the 80 tiles. Contacted dctuk and I've been told that the full amount of tiles were delivered. I've now put and order in for the extra 20 tiles and has cost me over a £100 extra, or given dctuk a £100 extra profit. Not how I do customer service in my business....

DCTUK offer good value for money, prompt service and a lot of helpful advice on their website about choosing and laying carpet tiles. I'm very pleased with the tiles and underlay that I bought. The only thing stopping me giving them 5 stars is the appalling inadequate carboard packaging in which the underlay tiles were shipped. It was barely holding together because it was so thin and was ripped in several places. Fortunately the contents weren't damaged, but that was more by luck than anything else. The tiles themselves were shipped separately in very robust packing. I would urge DCTUK to look into this as their shipper is doing them no favours here

Top marks for service!

We ordered four colourways of carpet tiles initially, then placed an order for 60 Heuga 727 carpet tiles in Linen shade together with 60 Interface Interlay carpet tiles.

We were notified at each stage of the process and delivery was prompt.

The tiles are now down and the room (home office) looks great. Very pleased indeed, thank you.
