Helpful delivery driver great price

Fantastic customer service all round from initial ordering, informing delivery time slot and actual delivery. Driver was pleasant and courteous, when we have finished the fence we will be ordering decking😊

Fantastic Quality timber, delivered within 3 days of ordering. Ordered multiple different types of timber all in which came in great condition. Also much more cost friendly than anywhere else! Delivery driver was friendly and professional. Will always be purchasing from here from now on!

Nothing not to like. Prices are excellent, and even with £25 delivery fee, it still works out cheaper than going to the local merchant. Delivery is quick and with good tracking so you can make sure you're in.

All words I would use to describe the service I received from Decking delivery

First time using Decking Delivery and must say very impressed. Prices were way below anywhere else and quality was great. Order 2pm on a Monday and delivered the next day. Very helpful young man delivered it . Decking now laid and very pleased with results. Will definitely be ordering from here again. Have also passed details on to friends and family.

Absolutely fantastic company my son recommended you to me as you are much cheaper than all the builders merchants we have around us , the quality of the wood is amazing and very reasonably priced , we shall be using you again , I ordered my timber on the 8 th April and received it Wednesday the 10th April and was kept notified where and when the driver would be arriving. Very friendly and helpful guy who delivered it too

Fast delivery, very reasonable price for bulk delivery of 15 x 2.4m sleepers. Driver went the extra mile as he handballed them all from his vehicle into our back garden. Was expecting to have to move them myself from the driveway, pleasantly surprised when I got home… many thanks

3 orders later and this company still can’t get their delivery service right!

Order 1 - dropped at incorrect house
Order 2 - dropped blocking a road
Order 3 - was going to drop again blocking a road but I managed to cancel it before.

All because - apparently - it’s a big ask for the delivery driver to deliver the material to the driveway (about 3 meters off the main road) yet on the website it clearly says “delivered to your door” - yet the guy on the phones seems to think this means delivered to a curb no where near the property which would mean a side road is blocked.

It’s a shame decking delivery could not get this right as the materials are half decent.

However the information on delivery is misleading and their responses to my email communication poor.

I don’t trust this company now, I’ll be taking my clients money elsewhere!

A few relies to your comments:

As previously said, your website says, “delivered to your doorstep” (not curbside delivery).

Are you saying you base your deliveries on where wheelie bins are on the street? This is concerning.

My house has a house number on the wall as does 9a and 9b.

Small ford transit vans can fit, I have one parked on the drive!

The second delivery was not delivered to my driveway, it was left at the end of the road blocking access.

Liam never contacted me to discuss any order, I had to call him (even though I had made an order over 1 week ago and sent an email asking to work with you in getting these materials to my driveway).

When I spoke to Liam, all he kept saying was “this is a big ask”. Liams was talking over me and quite frankly should be listening to my needs as a customer so I said I will not be ordering again and would like a full refund but Liam was still talking over me at this point so probably did not hear me say goodbye. I did not just hang up.

This review is not about the 1000s of happy customers, it is about this customer who you have failed numerous times so your comments on the numerous happy customers are irrelevant.

If anyone has concerns over access, I suggest you order from someone else as this company really doesn’t try to help!

Great choice of sleeper lengths with option to cut if required.
Great prices.
Delivery tracking accurate, arrived within a few days.
Very happy to use again.
