It was a good buying experience, all the exploded views with all the parts... easy to order... after that...
Lots of time to send the parts and only after contact the support they have said there were some stock problems and they were waiting for the parts.
After reception... they sent one part wrong... i controlled my order... they have sent the wrong part. Contact... waited for days... new ticket... and then, "there was a mistake... ble bla bla... we will send you the correct one..." two months have passed, no part.... and my current ticket is waiting for 5 days right now. So... i would give less stars if i could.

Waste of time
Ordered a part. Chased once and told it would be with me next week. Chased again and told unable to supply. Bought elsewhere without any hassle or delay. Won't be using this supplier again.

Dear Prefer not to say, sorry we could not supply the part you ordered, we can only go by what a manufacturer advises at the time of orderng. In this case, they accepted the electronic order and failed to advise us that the part had recently been made no longer available. After chasing them up and being advised as such, we contacted you to let you know and the order was refunded in full. If another stockist happened to have one in stock, then that is good news and we are glad you found one, but like us, they would now, not be able to order another. Your review is therefore somewhat misleading and it is a shame you prefer not to say your name, so a company can contact you in person, to explain the situation and to have an opportunity to apologise for any inconvenience caused. Parts for a 7yo Hayter mower
Needing mainly bearing and circlip parts for my 7 yo Hayter mower I searched Google and found very little availability, most parts seemed unavailable, which is ridiculous for only a 7 year old machine. Then found DIY Spare Parts who listed everything I needed and more. Being suspicious that this company could supply what most websites could not I rang them and spoke to Jon. They didn't stock the parts but they would call Hayter and see if my parts could be supplied. Only a few minutes later Jon rang back to say that they could, and I had them only a week later. Even Hayter's website didn't list my parts.
So well done Jon and DIY Spare Parts. My mower is back on its wheels. Excellent service.

Great experience with DIY Spare Parts
Very pleased with my recent experience with DIY Spare Parts. I contacted Jon and his team to order some parts for a Stihl 2-stroke blower and a Stihl Kombi engine. Not only did Jon and his team have the parts available, he was also able to add an additional item that I required to my order, before shipping it to me. The parts are genuine, priced competitively and were shipped in a careful manner as to ensure they were not damaged in transit. Long way to travel from England to Australia, so I am thoroughly pleased with my experience.
Why buy new when you can repair old engines and breathe new life into them. I highly recommend Jon and DIY Spare Parts for anyone looking for spare parts and I will be using the site again in the near future to continue my restoration work.

Just bought a pull cord for an old…
Just bought a pull cord for an old mountfield mirage 18 and can’t believe the help and advice I got from Colin. Talked me through the whole procedure from getting the model number to how to re tension the unit and what safety precautions to take. Bearing in mind this is a 27 year old engine and the cord was less than £5, his friendly professional help was incredible. Fantastic person and company, can’t recommend them highly enough

Clutch removal tool
I recently purchased a recoil clutch removal tool from this company for a briggs and stratton engine and cannot recommend them or the tool highly enough . The service you receive in regards to being kept informed and despatch time is great and the product itself is sturdy/ does what it's meant to and is also the cheapest you will find. A great faultless company.
