RETROFITTING FRENCH DOORS TO MOBILE HOME
From the beginning when we contacted Downshire Caravans about retrofitting French Doors to our mobile home to the measuring up and the eventual installation Lee and Johnny were a great help to us They took time to offer us recommendations on deciding which option suited our mobile home best and answered any question we had in relation to the job to be done.
We decided to go for a complete frame which included the doors and the side windows as this made the whole structure very strong and stable.
They were a pleasure to deal with, their workmanship is exceptional and we’re very happy with the end result.
If anyone is looking for work to be done on their mobile home or caravan we’d definitely recommend them.

Good value for touring caravan service and very happy with the repair work done. Excellent communication throughout. The only negative (and this is nitpicking a bit) is the interior floor of the caravan was a bit dirty when we came to pick it up which we had recently cleaned. Overall very pleased and will certainly go back in future.

Following a recent storm that damaged our caravan roof, we contacted Downshire Caravans to inquire about repairs. Simultaneously, we considered upgrading the van's aging windows. Caravan repairs
Two panels from our mobile in Co Louth got damaged in a storm four weeks ago and needed replaced. We were recommended by our site owner to contact Downshire Caravans. Lee came out to our mobile to see the damage, took a sample of a panel and then ordered them for us. He informed us it could be up to six weeks before delivery but they arrived in four weeks. The communication and workmanship from Lee has been first class and we would highly recommend him and the company.

Annaginny Static windows/doors upgrade
They arrived on site exactly when they said they would.The windows and doors were fitted and working perfectly.This was all done within one day. Our van was left nice and tidy by the company. I would highly recommend this company for their quality of work and craftsmanship. For anyone who wants to change their windows and doors then this is the people to use. Price wise we got very good value for our money. Companies like this are hard to come by, as a lot of people promise the earth and then you never hear from them again. I just want to thank everyone involved in the work at our static!! If I ever need anything else done then I will use this company again!!!!!

Excellent MH & Caravan Dealership
So pleased we choose to buy our new MH from Downtide.
Great service from a local family run business. The experience from initial contact with Bruce, assessing and valuing our trade in, registration and arranging modifications to the new MH, to collection has been perfect.
We had a better overall offer but decided it was worth buying local as twice previously travelled a long way to fix issues with a MH. Generous trade in and not knocked back unreasonably when our MH was inspected.
Downtide said they treated every new sale as they would a second hand sale as fully test the MH before handing over to the customer. The handover itself was thorough two hours. Based on our first two trips away they did as they said as no major dramas.
We would not hestitate to recommend Downtide for your next purchase.

Damage to our Static Caravan
During the recent storms our caravan roof had been damaged, we reached out to Downshire Caravans to see if the roof could be repaired. At the same time we had thought about getting the windows in the van replaced as they had started to show their age. Lee, Jonny and the team got all sorted and what a fantastic job they have done. It’s like a new van again.
