Asking for a refund for ev charger (€1400), request for refund on 20-05-2026 and still pending. I was told a month ago that your request is processed and you will get it soon and its still pending. Their account team does not answer the call.

I hope i get my refund soon.
Think twice before paying ECOPLEX.

I dealt with Dean throughout the process. He was very helpful.

During the installation, the engineers were very accommodating and they took their time to talk me through the process and then ensure that everything g was in working order, app running and answered all the questions.

The customer service staff have been really responsive and helpful.

Overall very good experience and satisfied with the result.

If you have a problem they are a disaster. Ordered and paid for a charger about 10 weeks ago. They came to install about 6 weeks ago but as I had a sauna installed they wanted an electrons cert to continue which of course I didn't have. In email conversations agreed to cancel which they offered and go with someone else. Since then still can't get a refund. Keep getting fobbed off by my rep with "It's with finance". Over a month no refund of €1400 and now they won't even respond anymore.

I had the pleasure of dealing with Conor, who carried out our site survey. He explained everything clearly and in great detail, and his knowledge and professionalism were the main reasons we chose Ecoplex for our solar installation.

The installation itself was seamless from start to finish. The workmanship and quality of the installation were excellent. A great company with outstanding customer service and quality workmanship!

The installation crew was first rate, fitting 16 panels to a complex roof in around 5 hours, in first roasting sunshine then a hailstorm, and with great good humour. Well done, guys!
All the paperwork was handled properly, the grant is approved, and the system connected automatically to the grid.

Excellent customer service particularly from Harsh Shah who organised an EV charger for me. A bit slow to get the engineer report for the SEAI grant but overall a satisfactory service

We bought our system from Ecoplex in 2024, and while the support team have always been polite, helpful, and professional, the overall experience has been very underwhelming. The inverter has been unreliable since installation, failing repeatedly and often without warning. to date the system continues to shut down or operate inconsistently.
Both Eddie and Solis are reputable brands, which leads me to believe the problem is either a faulty unit or an installation issue that has never been properly addressed. Ecoplex staff are pleasant to deal with, but it increasingly feels like they do not have the technical know how to diagnose or repair the underlying fault. Each time an engineer visits, they complete the repair or update and leave immediately — there is never any proper quality check to confirm the fix actually holds. As a result, we are often left with only a temporary resolution, and within days or weeks the system fails again.
Support communication is polite, but the process is slow. Responses typically take 24–48 hours, and repairs can take 5–7 days. One repair last summer took two full weeks. When the system fails, we are left generating nothing for days at a time, which defeats the purpose of having solar and results in direct financial loss.

Since February 2026, it has failed another three times.
This long term pattern shows repeated failures that have never been resolved at the root cause. Whether the inverter is faulty or the installation was done incorrectly, the system has never operated reliably. The lack of proper diagnosis, quality checking, and long term solutions has left us with constant downtime and ongoing inconvenience.
Overall, while the staff are polite and the brands themselves are reputable, the installation quality, lack of technical resolution, and repeated failures mean I cannot recommend the service based on our experience.

From the very first site visit for the quote, Dean Creighton was very good, explained everything in detail, and the guys who installed the panels and the electrician were spot on! Highly commend Ecoplex. I’m delighted with the quality of their service.

I found Harsh Shah very easy and approachable to deal with online and in phone calls. He was helpful and patient in dealing with my queires.
Also the crew that came out to fit the charger unit were efficient and tidy and pleasant to deal with.

I have been without hot water since January, they never return my calls.. They closed my ticket without contacting me.. I find them evasive, they will not engage and never allow me to speak with a supervisor or manager when I ask.. They are unprofessional, and I would recommend to STAY AWAY from them.. Cheap is defiantly not better in their case.. The Saga Continues..

I would also like to thank Les Lowan, the electrician, and his entire team for their excellent work. They were professional, friendly, efficient, and paid great attention to detail throughout the installation process.
There were no surprises or hidden costs, and everything was explained in a straightforward and trustworthy manner. The whole team worked to a very high standard, and the quality of the installation was excellent.

To be fair with you, choosing Ecoplex was one of the best decisions we made. Dean carried out the initial survey of our house and immediately put our minds at ease.
