Emergency Assist Avis 

I am incredibly disappointed with the parts and labour claims process from Emergency Assist breakdown cover.
My vehicle broke down, and despite paying out of pocket for repairs, trying to get my valid reimbursement has been an absolute nightmare.

On top of their administrative stalling tactics, their policy terms are incredibly misleading. I strongly advise everyone to fully read the small print before buying.
You will find that this policy does not cover you for basic, common repair items.
Something as standard and essential as a battery replacement and fan belt isn't covered at all, leaving you completely out of pocket for everyday breakdown faults. Even for the items they supposedly do cover, they do everything they can to delay payment. After jumping through their hoops and providing a fully itemised invoice, they then decided they also required a full breakdown of the labour costs - yet another stalling tactic, I was then advised my pay-out would take a further 3 working weeks to process.
This is a poor, blocker-heavy claims process designed to avoid paying customers what they are owed. Avoid this company if you expect a smooth experience or genuine coverage - The constant chasing calls and emails isn't worth the stress!

I have been with Emergency Assist for a number of years now and I can't recommend them highly enough. Cover is reasonable priced and the service is second to none. They have always attended my breakdown's very promptly and are always polite, friendly and helpful. They are definitely the best breakdown service I have been with and I would recommend them to anyone looking for breakdown cover.

Wasn't fit for my purpose when needed couldn't supply breakdown recovery so won't be recommending to anyone very poor service especially when asked if I could empty goods out to get recovered disgusting service

They can be trusted, easy to contact, Renewal Process to get Motor Breakdown was very easy.
Everything was clearly explained, documents were presented in an easy to understand way, process was easy to follow.

I am really happy with continuing using Emergency Assist services, since I really trust that if the car breaks down, I can contact them and they will inspect the car, to check what needs to be done, or organize towing to my house or the repair centre.

Just in case of some problems with a car, I also organized Parts and Labour Insurance. Thank you for cooperation.

Also, name of "Emergency Assist" is easy to remember, and just what they do. So useful when needing help on a road and forgetting who is a provider of emergency motor breakdown assistance.

So easy to apply for, with a replicable well established company supplying a reliable service, at competitive prices.

I experienced a burst tyre and therefore called EA . They answered quickly and sent Bud rescue and recovery . Aon from that company was very helpful and polite and sorted my tyre out quickly . I would recommend Emergency assist

Have used this company for many years for UK cover and needed upgrade to EU. Easy and tremendous value.

My car unfortunately got a punctured tyre on the way to a funeral. Emergency Assist really didn’t seem that bothered - I’d expect a company to try and help a long-standing customer and get them on the road quickly so they could attend a wake! Not something I could have rearranged. But nope, quoted £250 for a mobile tyre repair (for a budget tyre for a Clio!) so asked for recovery instead. Shortly after, I got a call to inform me I still had over two hours to wait, but couldn’t cancel and seek a quicker option to get to the wake because that’d cost me £120! I spent a portion of the three hours in my car outside a crematorium looking at their trustpilot reviews. Safe to say, we will be swapping to another company asap!

Really wanted to help. A screw in a tyre. Flat. Totally. EA very understanding. SB Recovery arrived very quickly. Changed the tyre quickly. Told me things about my [14 year old] car, no mechanic had every before told me. Very helpful.

Easy signing up process , different tiers of cover , make your choice based on level of cover, pay , sorted.
First time with Emergency assist , very attractive pricing , hopefully won't require assistance as this will mean we have broken down , Service level will be the proof in the pudding .

Shame I had to even give 1 star. Be advised this company employs a whole department of "Wriggle Out" people whose modus operandi is to refuse claims to make this company more money. Their complaints process is a total joke. AVOID AVOID AVOID. Just received an automatic reply fro. Them saying they are concerned. Yeah right!

Call handler very helpful and friendly. My wait time was less than expected. The gentleman that came to my car was very professional and soon sorted.

I've been with this company for a good few years now, and so has my family. We've called them out a few times and have never had any trouble :)
I've often had to call up and make amendments at the time of renewal, and the team have been great. In particular, I've just dealt with a lovely staff member called Tyran who helped get me a deal on my next renewal and sort out a payment issue. Thank you for all of your help!

Excellent service, recovery vehicle arrived with 45 minutes of ending the call, recovered vehicle and took it to the garage of my choice.
