Loren was fantastic, he solved the problem and also improved the situation under our sink to reduce the chance of it happening again (previous workmen had made an unnecessary mess with extra flexi pipes etc). My only complaint is that it was expensive, I did expect it as it was an emergency and I accept that there is an extra cost, but it seemed a little much.

After moving into our new home unfortunately we woke up to a leak in our en-suite toilet which was coming through the ceiling. We called with Shero coming out within a hour, troubleshooted the problem and stop leak so no further damage was caused.

Absolutely great. I already had a previous plumber out who told me it was fixed.Then the next day I had water coming through the ceiling. Couldn't get hold the first plumber. I phoned this firm and I had someone within the hour. They told me on the phone, when booked the price per hour. At first I thought it was a bit expensive, but they were upfront with the cost. Unlike the other emergency firm previously.They only told me only the call out and then the plumber would tell me the price at the end. This turned out to be more expensive.

With this company I new how much I was paying per hour and the work was guaranteed. The plumber came in 40 minutes he was very professional and friendly the job was done in 1 hour.
I would highly recommend especially as I phoned a number of different companies and the fastest anyone else could come was 4 days away.

Whilst I understand that based on the below reviews some people have had a poor experience of emergency services 24, and I sympathize with them. My experience could not have been more positive.

I have been renovating my bathroom myself. But there was one part of the renovation that I wasn't comfortable with. The plumbing. I had contacted a very highly rated tradesmen on trust a trader.com and had asked them to re-root some plumbing for me. However after just two weeks of said plumbing being installed I had five separate leaks throughout my bathroom. After contacting the trader about the problems he told me that he was not able to return to the job until one week from now. Panicking, I turned to these guys to help me with a quick fix. Emergency services 24 we're able to send someone out within the hour to help me with my problem. However as it was very late and I had already turned my mains off we arranged for a contractor to turn up at my house at 8 a.m. the following day.

At 8 am the following day Shero arrived and he was able to fix my problem within an hour or so, fixing the multiple leaks I had from my new plumbing. He was extremely pleasant and polite, he did a great job and the leaks had stopped.

All except one of the leaks. Which did return the next day, however shero quickly returned and fixed that leak the same day.

I would not hesitate to recommend shero specifically to anyone. He is the perfect handyman and a really pleasant person to talk with. No doubt someone I will use again.

This company is horrendous plumber attented my home fixed my issue but he said he had sent me a invoice for my insurance company i checked my email i have nothing from plumber . Be warned ive rang emercency service 4 times and told someone/ manager will ring me back no one calls back emercency service take the call for dan hooton plumber im £360 out of pocket for a basic tap fix emerceny services will not guve me their address so i can at least direct my insurance company its information and it can be checked by them to say work was completed this company is bad if i could give zero stars i would

Never bothered to get back to me about my leak. Couldn't be bothered I guess. So much for an emergency response. From reading the other reviews here I can see that I dodged a bullet. Based on my experience with them I would recommend avoiding

Very unprofessional advertising company. They are not local but advertise themselves as “Bens Plumbing”. It’s false advertising as Bens Pluming doesn’t exist. They then rely on local guys to attend on their behalf. The rates are absolutely ridiculous and as you can’t understand them on the phone it is not made clear that the charge is PER HOUR as they don’t know what per hour means. My advice is STAY WELL AWAY!!!!!! Read the other reviews they all back my experience up. They only want your money.

Please do yourself a favour, and do not book this company. They were not transparent at all with their prices and wanted to charge me double the amount that they gave me in my quote. I called them 10 times trying to resolve it. They kept on saying that someone would call me and nobody called. They did not want to give me email, so I could make a complaint and raise dispute. I will never use them again. Honestly, very awful and stressful experience. I regret deeply that I booked them :(

Further edit: I have now spoken to someone in the quality department who have accused me of lying about damage caused to my property by a guy THEY hired to do the job and are telling me he will come back to do the job and are refusing to pay any refund for me to have the damage repaired and job done properly.

Edit: In response to Maddison, I will not be accepting the 15% discount as I will not be using this company again for any future work.

I was quoted £144 to do a job over the phone and asked if this was for the complete job and included labour etc and was told it was. This turned out to be false as I payed over £400 in the end after the plumber told me that was the hourly rate and also I had sourced and paid for the materials for the job myself. I have been waiting 4 days for a call back from the area manager as they do not have a manager on site in the office. The job done was messy and unsafe for a house hold with 2 young children but the staff do not seem to care and keep telling me every time I call that it will be priority, and 4 days later, I’m still awaiting contact never mind a resolution. Disgusting service.

I had some leaky showers and hence booked this service. Shero came to do the work. He fixed all the things and did a good job.

Since last update. I had my payment refunded, only after telling them i was to file a claim court and these reviews.
These guys are only a website as they say , no proper address. They employ whoever they can locally, qualified or not!!. I reported the gas man calling himself Combi Doctor to gas registry and trading Standard agency.
My word of advice is NOT to go anywhere near such companies. I had the water tank storage matter sorted by another but proper company. They only charged £75 call out. These guys charged me £180.

Sent email to below, no response. Keep calling the one number I have, they hang up.

All I am trying to do is get a contact for the plumber I used, so I can call them but they will not speak to you again.

Wonder if this time they will send me to the email again below, as they will not respond.

They keep saying we will email back, or we will call. They won't. It is all lies. Once they sort out your booking, they won't talk to you or send you an email or manager that can help get you back in touch with the plumber.

Scammers and gives data out to then be abused. British Gas agrees, and encouraged me to flag.

Plumber came round - turned off water and electricity in my boiler, by removing a fuse and some other way.
Then said something was broken, a valve.

This was £360, and left me without a boiler for the night. No invoice but they have constantly lied about sending it, and also given me a fake email to contact them on.

Quite funny really, as I work in tech, data specifically, so I know what is fake and what is not, and legality in data!

British Gas came round the next day, and said what they did was illegal, dangerous and incorrect, and took 5 mins to fix.

I complained to this company, they keep saying a manager will call, an invoice will be sent. I know it won't.

I also have asked for a refund which no one seems to be able to process.

Currently they have hung up on me around 5 times, and also the plumber kindly used my number to call me the next day and abuse me down the phone.

I am assuming I will get an automated response from 'Madison' around 15% off, not our plumbers, and some code that can put your name into it, like it is a real person. Sadly, again, working in data and tech and knowing the tricks, I know this is a bot!

Also, sadly I have contacts in legal data teams, trading standards, ombudsman, due to my work, so likely this company will be shut down.

Also reported to the police, as it is now illegal to scam people and not protect data security.

Will keep calling, and reporting until I get somewhere, as they are scammers.

I live in Ipswich where on Google they are known as 'Louis Plumbing Near me'.

It was a pain finding out their real company name was emergency services. They are an incredibly fraudulent company with fake reviews on Google. They're not even a plumbing company, they are just a business that contracts other plumbers

I called them to request for someone to fix my bath and sink. We agreed 12pm. By 2pm thr plumber still wasn't at my house so I called them back to cancel. The plumber then came at 4pm. I told him it was too late. He insisted he doesn't mind checking the bathrooms just to see the problem. All he did was measure my bath and then said I had to pay £180 for his services. He wouldn't leave until I did so. They didn't provide any other services after that. Where is the rest of the work? They haven't fixed anything. And they charge x10 the amount of any other plumber.

For the past 2 weeks I have been calling them to dispute this. Every time I go through the same thing, they say they'll pass my dispute to the supervisor and then they never call back. Thankfully I've found their company info now, so i can open a legal case against them.

They're so unprofessional, they don't even provide you with a receipt or invoice. I will be opening a case against them until I get my full refund

Just called this company (having found them on Google advertising as Dave’s Plumbing Service), for a quote to repair a leaking pipe under my sink, and was met with a catalogue of lies. Firstly, the operator quoted a price of £180 for the job, and when I asked if they charged VAT I was told that “if you pay cash you won’t have to pay VAT”..!! When I mentioned that this was completely illegal he back-pedalled, and claimed he hadn’t been working there for long so he wasn’t aware? Training required, I think! When I then asked if all of their Plumbers were employed by them he stated that they were, however it’s quite obvious that they are not, and that they use a network of self-employed subcontractors, so there would be very little comeback should anything go wrong with the service you receive. (See the response to the review below this one, where they state themselves that “ It's important to note that the technicians involved are not directly employed by our company”). When I pressed him on this point, the operator told me again that they were all employed, and ‘living in the local area’, but when I mentioned a couple of well-known local landmarks the guy had no clue, probably because he was working in a call centre many miles away, and simply books jobs for, as it turns out, Emergency Services 24, who according to the many reviews in this page have a terrible reputation!! I decided not to use them, and instead looked a bit harder and found a local guy who came round about an hour later, and charged me £100 - it was 9pm, so I was delighted with that, and he wasn’t VAT registered, so I was happy to legitimately pay him cash!! It’s quite apparent that these guys are a sharp operation who will charge a hefty call-out fee to send a sub-contractor to your house, so you may as well cut out the middleman and find someone local, who will provide just as good a service, for less money.

The plumber, Josh, was on time and the problem was efficiently and professionally sorted. He was very polite and courteous too.

SCAM - This company are a joke. I reviewed their activities prior and received a phone call from 'Customer service'. They stated that they are only an agency who contacts trades on the customers behalf and they cannot help. After my friend was ripped off for £600 the work wuill have to be re-done professionally.
The left a response to say that they would offer a discount of 15% on future work. I then receive a call from the plumber stating he justifies 3 hours work (600) to replace 6 inches of pipe. Then the company calls to say that he was justified all the time refusing to listen and talking over me.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY -You will regret it

Absolutely wonderful service from Shero. He came out within the hour on a Tuesday evening and had my problem sorted within half an hour! Swift and smart, and would totally recommend!

I called the Emergency Services as I had a leaki the kitchen. They were extremely efficient from start to finish. Shero arrived within the hour and was quick to find the problem. It’s a very old building and ended up being a difficult job. Shero soon had it sorted. He had a very friendly manner and was extremely polite. I would not hesitate to call this company again. Many thanks.
