Dependable and conscientious
Shero Taher arrived at the house at the time promised and installed the new taps with commendable care and attention. He was polite at all times, and tidied up after completing the job. He also phoned to advise when he would return to finish the job. I would recommend him without hesitation.

This company is a scam! They use another name called Bobby Plumber Near me on Google to get customers and they charge you money and then send completely unqualified people for the job that stay for about 10 minutes and then say they need to come again another time.

Please avoid emergency services 24h as scammed my money
On 5th October 2023, I wrote a review about Emergency services 24h that they were scammers so to warn other people but my review had been removed because this company flagged it because they want to continue robbing innocent people.
they send a plumber by the name of Umair Asgher, who he said he lives locally in Colchester to fixed the toilet which was making unusual noise when flushing every few minutes. The plumber did not fixed my toilet but instead robbed me of my £144 which was paid via bank transfer to his account which he insisted immediate payment but not receipt issued. I ended up finding another trusted plumbing company in Colchester who fixed my toilet
I provided proof of bank transfer being paid to to Umair Ash Hat from my HSBC bank account but still my review was removed.
Very disappointing as I am a concerned citizen, who had been scammed money by this company & provided genuine proof to support my review.
Please ignore positive review as it’s from their mates, read negative ones. If this review is removed again, I am going straight to report to the press or via watch dog tv program to expose this company.

I have already complained to this…
I have already complained to this company. They sent a plumber to repair a toilet leak. He fitted a broken part. Wanted part of money in cash which he pocketed. They made an offer to settle the complaint. I did not agree with their offer.
No further reply.
I have now sent a Letter Before Action to them and the plumber.
If they do not refund I will sue.

I was given a false email address when I tried to complain
Had a terrible experience with the company. A review on here was replied to saying to send them details of my experience to an email address. The email address didn’t exist and the mail wasn’t sent. It’s been two months since I originally tried to contact them. I’m considering legal action if nothing is done soon.
Edit: I already tried emailing the email address given in the reply to this review three times before writing this, each time with no response. It was also the same person ‘Madison’ who gave me the incorrect email address before.

This company should not be trading
This company should not be trading. A complete scam. I have repeatedly asked for an invoice and breakdown of why I was overcharged for supply of new tap and charged £416 for 1 and half hours work. Unbelievable!.
I have been told a manager will respond but never does. I would never have used this company if I had read their appalling reviews. I will report my experience to the trading standards.

Left with no cold water
I needed a plumber to fit an electric shower, this was done although very expensive at £216
But then I noticed I was left with no cold water upstairs and no water going into the toilet, when I called them back and messaged over 5 times, no one got back to me, they just said they would pass it on to the manager!

Called for emergency plumber to take a look at blockages as causing a bad leak engineer came took a look and said can't help you! Still charged me £180 for call out !!!! He even broke toilet seat too .. no invoice supplied for records! Called to complaint even messaged on what's app group nothing back just a manager be in touch never happened !!! Emailed too nothing .. now my calls to try to speak to someone is blocked !! Awful company complete fraud of an engineer who came .. a plumber came next day and said any professional would have had this sorted in 15 minutes !!! Complete scam !!!

Scam company
Scam company. Over charge and then won't supply an invoice. Ringing and emailing just to be told an area manager will call - not happening. Paid way too much for an emergency plumbing job and now can't get an invoice for the insurance company. Wished I'd read the reviews before using but when water is pouring through the ceiling, you just don't.
It seems many people are in the same situation with invoices. Can I urge you to contact Trading standards, BBC Watchdog and your credit card companies where appropriate. The more of us that complain and raise the issue, the more chance of something getting done.

I’ve been waiting 6 weeks for this imaginary manager to call. Do not use them, do not waste your hard earned money as they don’t care
They won’t even give me their registered address.
Thanks for your automatic response. Not once did I mention price. I have sent numerous emails to the address in your response and you have failed on every occasion to respond. You could pick up the phone and call.

Far too expensive.
I cannot fault the service but price was extortionate. £368 for an hour and half of work and a tube of mastic. As my husband was a plumber I fully realise you are paying for their expertise however removal of a fascia, tightening up a loose joint and making good the shower tray seal and fascia was well overpriced. I don’t need a discount voucher as I won’t be using this Company again thank you.
Thank you for your offer of 15% off if I use you again. I needed it off the original bill. I’m afraid I won’t be using you again. It was very deceptive to ring Alex plumbing services of 20 years to find out I was ringing you! Although your website says you use different plumbers how would we know that unless we rang you directly 😡

They are the middle man sucking the lives out of small businesses trying to make it out there.
I called them for a call out on the 3rd Sept, a young plumber came out and did his job nicely. When I asked for an invoice, I was told that he could only supply me with an invoice of half the cost so I was to contact this outfit for the full invoiced amount. They take ages to answer your call, tell you that they'll let the area manager know and that he will phone you back later to discuss the invoice(after its already been paid) ITS BEEN 2 WEEKS and I still don't an invoice or a phone call from anyone.
So Below is the response from this company, delivering lip service.
IF Lisa had read my review, she would have seen that all I want is an invoice.
In return she leaves an email address that DOES NOT WORK.
Time to speak to the Ombudsman, and ask HMRC to do an audit on their books, so we can see exactly where my money went.

Untrustworthy Business
Really poor communication and customer service. I had an emergency plumbing issue and needed a plumber to come out ASAP. I was informed by Emergency 24/7 by Direct 24 that someone would be at my house within the hour. They cancelled this after the hour elapsed and said another plumber would be on their way. This was again cancelled because the plumber "need to get parts". I called another firm who were able to get to my house within 3-4 hours.

Absolutely disgusting company
Absolutely disgusting company. £342 to fix a leak and the plumber would not leave my property without payment when it’s my landlord’s property so I had to arrange the payment from him. Sat on my doorstep for 3 hours knocking every 5 mins to check if he had paid me yet. Also wouldn’t take a bank transfer so I had to go to a cashpoint twice, bearing in mind I have 2 autistic toddlers in tow. Plumber also let my child out the back door. Caused me so much anxiety and distress I think i’d rather have no water than use this company again. 3 hours was charged for he went off galivanting for an hour and was on his phone constantly. I called them because my main water pipe was leaking, and on the phone they said that it would cost me £114 to fix my problem. All good, the technician came in 1 hour, assessed the situation, and charged me £135 in cash, saying that he would go to buy materials and come back to fix it, but after I paid him and waited for his return for 3 hours, when I tried to get in touch with him, he picked up my call after I told him who I was, we hung up and blocked my number, I rang the office, they blocked my number, I called from my wife number , and when they found out why I called them, guess what? Block number. I denounced them for fraud. Avoid is a scam. I don't know how that is still going on.
