I love this company. They answer the phone instantly and provide the most excellent customer service. They had my details up in seconds and provided a clear and definitive answer to my questions. The insurance itself is extremely competitive and I have no doubt that if I needed to make a claim they would handle it with ease. Thank you ETA

On fri 11th july I broke down in a layby with a flat tyre at 9am. One of the hottest days of the year. I tried some local garages first, then last resort, ETA , having located my insurance information, I phoned. Lady asked few questions, and at the end said, i was uninsured, even though I'm on the policy for 'insurance purposes ', then demanded I pay £120 for rescue. I declined & waited for my husband to come rescue me from his work. The most appalling service, the lack of compassion for a vulnerable person, and over 10 years I've paid into this platinum service & when I needed it I was refused. I haven't even had an apology from ETA for getting it so wrong. If there was zero star rating, you'd have it.

Muller was great. He was empathic and communicative. He always responded to my questions and I felt that he was ‘on my side’ and was doing his best for me. I was very happy with the support and the outcome regarding my claim.

I found that my claims handler Tristan Kumm was very helpful with my claim from start to finish very professional and friendly would highly recommend ETA

got a puncture on my mobility scooter. rang ETA, spoke to Callum. Very helpfull. Sent in my call-out/repair invoice and paid my claim in 10 days. Exellant service!

My experience with my ETA insurance was fantastic from start to finish thanks to William for sorting everything out the claim was sorted within days of the start of my claim thank you 🤩

Worst experience ever. They are the same if not worse than other insurance companies, the insane loopholes they create to ensure they do not pay out.
Do not buy the scam that they are ethical, it is all rubbish.

Update: Your policy highlights very nuanced and mostly vague statements that are purely open to interpretation and the decision of your company. The bicycle was locked in the rear and back frame and secured in the front garden. Unattended for 18hrs is fairly vague as while I was not home, my partner was.
Going to court is futile, you have the power and the financial backing to win anyways.

Like I said, ETA is the same if not worse than other insurance companies, use them at your own risk.

I disliked the fact that although I cancel my insurance I didn't receive a refund until I wrote them again as I suddenly remembered about it. So If I haven't chased them I would have lost my refund. They said the refund had not been initiated. I wasn't been offered any compensation for the trouble caused only the money they owed me.

Deon was great, really friendly to speak to over the phone and email. I made another claim and the process with ETA was easy and a fast resolution as always. Thanks.

Husband arranged insurance for our bikes with ETA. When my beloved shopper was damaged, ETA’s customer service phone line was invaluable. Helpful. Clear and responsive. Claims handler William was excellent conveying process information well, listening acutely to our circumstances and when able to act on the claim, doing so swiftly.

We've been ETA customers for years and (luckily!) haven't had to use the breakdown service very often, but every time we have, the service has been consistently excellent. We had a break down recently and both the call handler and the recovery driver were incredibly professional, efficient and prompt - which is exactly what you want when you're in that situation. Would highly recommend!

Came up trumps when my new phone stopped pairing with my e bike. I really do not know what i would have done without ETA. So glad I took out cover. My bike is too large and heavy to get in a car.

Really good customer service.
Dealt with my stress thoughtfully and sensitively and the breakdown vehicle arrived in a short time.
Kept me informed throughout the process and also checked up with me to ensure that all went well.
I would really recommend.

Broken customer portal, couldn’t cancel renewal and then refused to refund. Went to cancel my renewal over Easter. Customer login broken, advised to call but closed for weekend. Ended up emailing a couple of days later and they initiated the renewal seconds before they replied to say too bad it’s already been renewed. Denied there being a problem with their website - it’s still broken so not sure how they can claim that. No longer trust them.
