I was looking to apply for my ETA and this is the first link that appears. The webpage is very misleading as it looks like the governmental one, the disclaimer they have is extremely small and in a light color. Pricing is extremely higher than the actual fee.
I have reached out to customer service to request a cancellation of my application and refund of the fee.
This is not a well-intended set up.

Yesterday I bought an ETA for a trip to Scotland.
Since April 2025 this is an extra requirement. ETAS is the first website that offers this. Now they have charged me 99£ for an an ETA that officially costs 16£ according to UK Gov!!
I demand a refund of 83£!
This is not ok!

Etas is the first website that pops up in your search engine. Sponsored, ofcourse, with the excessive price they dare charging you for your ETA.
5 times(!) the official UK Gov cost.
I demand a refund of the 83£ you overcharged!
Not only is the need for an ETA a recent extra cost to a vacation trip. It already starts with a non-governmental website ripping you off!

I accidentally applied for a UK…
I accidentally applied for a UK visa/ETA through ETAS Travel and was charged £99, which is far above the official fee. At no point before payment was the total cost made clear, which I find misleading and not transparent. And don’t tell me your fees are clear - it is not
The website looks exactly like the official one and the disclaimer is very small - clear misleading
I immediately realized I did not need this service and contacted ETAS Travel to request a refund under their own policy. I have also asked them not to process my application and to delete my personal data.
I hope the company will resolve this quickly and refund me in full in the next 24h

Ik wil 3 dagen naar Engeland en heb hiervoor een ETA verklaring nodig.
Ik heb dit aangevraagd via de eerste website op google. Nu blijkt dat dit mij 100€ meer kost dan dit werkelijk zou moeten zijn??? Hoe kan dit? Ik voel me bedrogen. Ik wens deze transactie te annuleren!
Na contact met de klantendienst werd de trnasacite geannuleerd waarvoor dank.
