Been impressed with the team at Eureka Capital. They did what they said on the side of the tin. Investigate your capital assets and provide an assessment of what opportunities there are to offset against income tax. In my case, I expect to receive an in-year rebate from HMRC and be able to draw down further offsets against future income tax in the coming years.

I hesitated reclaiming Capital Allowances for a couple of years because I thought it was too good to be true. Then, with the FHL deadline approaching, I thought it was time to investigate. I tried phoning a few Capital Allowance companies but couldn't get them to even answer their phones. Then I watched Jason of Eureka give a presentation online via the ASSC. Next day I phoned Eureka, spoke to Jason, then conferred with my accountant who subsequently joined in a conference call and Eureka flew through the process from there on. Rarely do I manage to find a company who act like professionals but these people do. They handled everything from start to finish. It's a subject that most of us find mind-boggling and a little mysterious but Eureka did a professional job with minimal intervention from me. They identified over £100,000 of Capital Allowances, with professional reports to back it up, forwarded the complete job to my accountant, who in turn had it filed with HMRC in minutes and that was it. The whole process only took about 10 days. I'd urge anybody to just phone them and get on with it - before it's too late. It's your money after all.
