Awful Experience - MISSING FUNDS STILL NOT RECIEVED
Awful Experiance -
I am waiting for Fineco Bank to transfer my remaining funds to my designated account due to them closing my Fineco GBP Current Account however no one seems to be responding to any phone calls I am making nor any emails I am sending. I have sent ALL THE REQUIRED BANK DETAILS in order for them to release and return my funds however they still have not done so. This is a simple task and I should not be put through this as a vulnerable respected customer. I would like someone higher up to immediately look into this and process all my remaining funds so that my Fineco account can be properly closed!

Apparently Fineco IS a genuine bank!

I’ve tried twice to open a trading account. It has not been successful, and the customer service was less than helpful. So I have given up and used an alternative organisation.
TBH I came on here to see if the were are legit company because I was beginning to doubt it.

So far really frustrating

So far really frustrating. I have been trying to open an account in my married name for a month and have just been told they can’t update my name because I can’t prove I am eligible to reside in the UK despite being a British citizen! I have sent my British passport in my maiden name and my marriage certificate but it is still not enough. Really hard getting much help in the phone either. Should I give up?

I'm dumb founded by how bad someone has…

I'm dumb founded by how bad someone has managed to make a website, i recommend you actually try and register for a new account just to see how incredulously bad it is. You enter the wrong password and it sends you to the italian version of the website, the password can only be 8 characters, you can't reset the password, you press reset and it says it will send you a code, code is never sent. The option for some countries as country of birth doesn't exist. So you can't sign up,

Disaster after disaster, shame.

What a disaster. I was drawn to the low fees but wouldn't recommend if you require speedy or accurate trading.

Missed out on the stock I wanted at the price I wanted when I learnt you can only buy UK stocks with an s&s isa.

'Not the end of the world' I thought, until I move my s&s to a different bank, I'll just deposit more funds to invest in the stock from my regular account. So I send my money, 2 days later it arrives.

Great, I think, the stock is back at a price I want to buy in at! I activated currency exchange already so go to buy USD with my GBP with it's updated balance. Only, no I can't, because it says 'Insufficient funds to carry out the transaction.'... less than HALF A PAGE from where it says 'Account balance GBP +*****.**'

They let me down for the second time.

Such a disappointment as for a second time I'm not able to get the stock at a price I want.

Wouldn't recommend this service, there are plenty that offer better, faster, and more diverse investments and trading.
