Flamerite Fires Avis 

We are very happy with our Ennio 3 Electric fire from Flamerite, installed by Fireside Studio Ltd in Bolton. The product is an efficient upgrade from our previous gas fire and also looks very modern and gives the room the warm feel of a real fire experience.

We purchased our fire through the Knowle store - the staff were patient and certainly not pushy when we were a little vague about what we wanted!! Fitting was a dream - two great guys just before Christmas - no mess and done in just a few hours (including filling in the hole in our outside wall where they took out our old gas fire).

And it looks great too - even convinces us that there is heat when only the flame effect is switched on!!

Excellent company, Prior to our purchase we looked at many makes and did a lot of research. We shortlisted a couple and visited the factory in Lichfield. The staff were brilliant, really helpful and showed us various options, there was no pushy sales pitch, just useful information. We phoned a few times to clarify a few points. every time customer srvice was excellent/ Highly recommend the Company and their products/

Absolutely great fire, good effect and quite. The only concern is that you have to use the app to control it or buy the very expensive remote control. Can’t understand why the remote control is supplied as standard and the app is the option?

I would have given Flamerite 5 stars except for the fact that our fire had a fault that was only recognised after it had been fitted in place. But then maybe I am being too harsh with a four star award as Flamerite were very proactive in having the necessary repair made free of charge so that we could have a lovely new flame effect fire (and it is really lovely!) working to enjoy over the Christmas and New Year holiday. I will leave the reader to judge for themselves.

Ordered Flamerite fire after advice from friend in the trade. Great advice and purchased through friends shop. Arrived at shop within a few days. Easy to assemble and get working.

Looks beautiful, very quiet, not really enough heat unless on continually in the recent cold spell.
When on the 21°stat the fire is continually clicking every second on off on off on off, drives me crazy.
Very expensive.

I bought a Sonata-2 electric inset fire in January 2019 costing around £500, simply for the flame effect as a centre piece having seen how realistic it looked.
Flame effect stopped working in March 2019 but a new blower resolved the issue.
Again in November the flame effect wasn't working and another blower was installed.
In February 2021 I had the same issue again but paid for the repair being out of warranty....yet another blower.
It is now November 2022 and the blower is buzzing loudly when on so the fire is unusable. I can have a further repair at a cost of £190 but I'm not convinced it would be worth it?
The claim on Flamerite's online page of 'Ultra reliability' I would question with this particular product as I don't feel it has been fit for use having needed repairs 4 times in just 3 years of owning this fire. (Including the fault it has now. ) Customer services are outstandingly helpful, but I feel this fire has put me off further purchases.
UPDATE: After reading my review I must be honest Flamerite totally agreed that the parts fitted shouldn't have failed after such a short timescale, furthermore they sent an engineer free of charge to replace the blower and they now have a very happy customer. Not many companies these days respect their customers once the warranty expires so on that basis I am happy with the outcome. I did originally say their customer service was outstanding and this proves it. Thank you Darren and Natalie.

Darren promptly replied to my enquiry and supplied me with clear advice as how to get my fire back up and working. Good to know I have this resource at my fingertips.
