we also booked a family room on amtrak train for 2 nights when we got on train no family room booked £1500 for the room still no refund

Very good value for money holiday to Italy and Sicily. Transfers great and good hotels. Would definitely use the company again. Sofia was very helpful. The only improvement would have been to have transfers in Sicily covered too, although we manged to sort these ourselves in the end. Good travel company!

We booked a short break to Procida, Italy, with Flights and Packages. The booking was easy. Sofia was really helpful. I spoke to Sofia on several occasions. She was always helpful and very knowledgeable about the product. Our short break was excellent. All the flights and transfers worked. Our hotel, Hotel Solcalante was an ideal base to explore this beautiful, small island. The hotel staff were very friendly and approachable. All-in-all an excellent trip.

The holiday experience was good. Very well organised and generally well communicated. It all worked seamlessly from pick up at the airport, transfer to the ferry and giving us the necessary tickets. As we were the only ones going to Procida they were very clear about which ferry we caught and where to get off.
After booking I did receive paperwork to the incorrect destination but this was rectified nearer to the departure date.

We booked a 2 centre trip to the Czech Republic via Flights and Packages, staying initially in BRNO for 3 nights and then Prague for 3 nights. We started the journey by flying to Vienna Airport in Austria, taking a bus across the border to BRNO. We the took a train from BRNO to Prague, returning to Manchester Airport via Prague Airport. In BRNO we stayed at the Cosmopolitan Bobbycentrum Hotel which was about a 200 kroner taxi ride from the city centre. The hotel was very clean had a small limited evening menu, the breakfast choice was very good. In Prague we stayed at the Devadla hotel which was a fair distance from the city centre but it was easily accessible using the tram system (free as we are both pensioners), the trams are approximately 1 km from the hotel. The hotel did not do evening meals but there were 3 restaurants very local to the hotel and the breakfast was good. The taxi fare to the airport was 900 kroner. The staff at both hotels were friendly and helpful and the rooms were good.
The only thing negative about the trip was that taxi's are difficult to find on the streets, so you really need to book through a central contact number which if you can not speak Czech makes it difficult. Also make sure you agree a price with any long taxi journey before you take it.

We’ve just got back from doing the golden triangle and Goa we booked with flights and packages it was such a good price, from getting on the flight to coming home we had 5 star treatment the hotels they booked were excellent we had our own driver who was amazing very professional and friendly if I needed to know anything I sent a message to the head office and it was answered within 10 minutes we will definitely use this company again

THE best experience ever! In terms of customer service, the holiday overall and the aftercare. From initially booking I cannot fault the service we received from Rose. We have never done a tour before and didn’t know what to expect. Rose explained everything so we were prepared. We then had a call just before leaving to ensure we didn’t have any queries. We went to India and the night before we were sent contact information by our India contact Shuhul. Everything went so smoothly and we were kept informed every step of the way.

The tours, guides and drivers were exceptional and made sure we received the highest level of service and experience. The hotels were perfect and we cannot believe the level of service and hotel for the price we paid.

Upon our return to the UK we were contacted by both Shuhul and Rose following up on the holiday. I just cannot fault the company at all. This was the best service we have ever experienced and I will certainly book again with this company

I had heard many good things about Lisbon and Porto, so decided to take my wife on a short break to see both, with a view to returning on a longer break in the future. F&P came up with a package. Sofia called me and we tweaked the package to give me better flights.
The package was fairly basic with a good hotel(4*) in both locations and train travel between the cities.
No transfers were included and there was only a basic luggage allowance.
Everything was clearly communicated and clear documentation was provided for all aspects.
The hotels were both of the expected standard and both were on a bed and breakfast basis.
Overall we really enjoyed the break but I have a few observations.
On arrival at the Lisbon hotel we were informed that there was a slight problem. The reservation had somehow not been completed between the hotel’s reservation team and the 3rd party room booking company “beds online” The hotel (NEYA) was very good and reassuring and a call to the agents soon had it sorted. No dramas!
The other minor issue was on the train between Lisbon and Porto.
On boarding the train we found that the seat numbers did not exist in the carriage specified.
Notwithstanding the peculiar seat numbering of Portuguese trains, it turned out to be down to the train company changing the configuration of the carriage between the issue of the tickets and the day of travel.
This led to us sitting at and being subsequently moved out of a number of unoccupied seats during the journey.
This meant we were a little on edge every time the train stopped at a station.
Near the end of the journey the ticket inspector arrived and explained (via another passenger) that the company had changed the configuration of the carriage (and he had a conversion list!)
Unfortunately the new seat numbers hadn’t filtered through to us.
A note of caution, then, to anyone taking an intercity train in Portugal.
I would also urge anyone to check out(Google!) how the seat numbers work as they are extremely confusing.
Anyway, I feel that these issues are not the fault of Flights and Packages, but I have spoken to Sofia about it and I trust that she will pass the information back so hopefully(!) no one else will experience this.
Bottom line is that these were minor irritants in what was otherwise a very successful and enjoyable trip.
We loved both Lisbon and Porto.

What an amazing Southern India trip! Everything was perfect from transportation, accommodation, trips/tours and pre-arrival information.
A very special shout out to our amazing driver for the duration Sreejith. He was punctual, knowledgeable, courteous and most of all an amazing driver. He knew the roads like the back of his hand and gained our trust on the first journey from Bangalore airport . Thank you Sreejith.

Flights and Packages know their audience and had everything spot on . Would certainly recommend.

First the good side - great price, lovely hotels, good fight times and good communication. A great trip to Venice, Lake Garda and Verona

Not so good - despite being a “package” there were no transfers - fine arriving at Marco Polo airport with its good communication and easy enough to get to Venice Mestre station but we arrived at the south end of Lake Garda and the hotel was at the north end. Luckily I’d contacted Flights and Packages to ask about transfers and was informed there were none so had pre-planned the boat trip to Riva del Garda. There was also no transport back to Verona airport which was reasonably simple to arrange with a combination of bus and train travel but this was not clear in the information given. It did require some planning and organisation.
Finally the hotel in Venice was lovely but did involve a 45 minute tram trip into the city which, if you are only there for one whole day does eat into the time rather.

Well organised from planning to completion. The service at the destination and throughout the tour was very efficient and the driver and tour guides could speak and understand English. They were courteous, knowledgeable, informative and helpful. The whole process from planning to returning back and post return seeking feedback was very professional. The In-Country Local representative – SShuhul, was constantly in touch with us, the drivers and the guides making sure good service was provided and ensured very prompt resolution of any issues arising and ensuring the tour went as planned.
