COWBOYS

The writing was on the wall when we tried to drop our car off the week before. We couldn’t get through on the number we were instructed to call and kept being diverted to a Giffgaff voicemail box that was full. After 20 minutes of trying, we finally managed to let them know we were nearly there.

When we arrived, we were directed straight to the ticket machine to pay the airport exit fee so they could take the car away. To be fair, that was our mistake for not reading the small print.

The biggest problems came when we landed. We had to call them 21 times and then wait an hour and a half for someone to finally return our car. Once again, most calls went straight to the same full voicemail box. On the rare occasions we spoke to someone, we were repeatedly told, “It’s on its way,” despite the fact that I could see via my car’s tracking app that it hadn’t moved from a parking spot four miles away.

In fact, the tracking app also showed that my car had been moved to another location and driven a further three miles midway during my trip.

It seems we got off lightly. The lady before us had been waiting two and a half hours and was eventually told by a poorly informed member of staff that her car was parked downstairs on a different level. No apology was offered to her either.

When our car finally arrived, there was once again no apology. To make matters worse, there were muddy footprints and clumps of mud all over the driver’s side of the vehicle.

Disgusting service from start to finish. Completely unprofessional and absolute cowboys. I would not use this company again and certainly wouldn’t recommend them to anyone.

I would five 0 stars if I could.

After dropping our car off in the carpark at Gatwick nothing seemed odd as we booked (what we thought was meet & greet, as advertised) we soon noticed no signage and the Gatwick workers couldn’t direct us as they were unaware of the ‘business’ that was running in their car park. We managed to locate and drop the car off to be asked to pay the parking fee for the carpark we were told to arrive to.

Instructions instructed us to call 30 minutes before collection, which we did. To be told 45-1hour wait. WOW was we wrong. We arrived at the carpark we were instructed to attend where our car would be brought to, to find multiple families waiting for over TWO HOURS!!

They were refusing to answer the number supplied & when they did respond we were told ten minutes the car would be there.

In the end we had to call the police and report our car stolen!! I finally got through to the company and was abused over the phone and was told to ‘ report the car stolen you F*** B****’
My partner took over the phone and about 45 minutes later I got a withheld phone number saying we needed to attend another car park where the car has been dropped. We finally found the car with nobody there, the key was left on the car.

ABSOLUTE disgrace, from further investigation it seems they have plenty of dissolved companies and are not currently suppose to be trading. I will be taking this further so that nobody else can be SCAMMED.

Be very wary

Not impressed at all. Very casual bloke met me took my key hardly spoke English. There was a woman complaining saying they had lost her keys. Didn’t fill me with much hope. I then had to pay an additional fee for them to leave the terminal carpark. On arrival back in the UK rang them they told us where to go. Saw my car straight away but no one there to give me my key. Rang them again and they said key is on the tyre. Absolute joke. I then had to pay another additional fee to get out of the car park on top of the £93 I paid originally. Looked over my car in the morning, looks like a farmer with extremely muddy feet has been all over the back of the car and all down the sides. I should have checked my mileage before I left, as other parking providers have in the past I just didn’t think at the time. Really, really unprofessional and would not recommend.

DONT USE THIS COMPANY!

Please whatever you do, DONT use this company. Unreliable, they don’t answer the phone or they cut you off. We only just made our flight out due to waiting and the guy who took our keys was so rude and clearly not bothered at all when I got annoyed by the service we had received. In fact he just shrugged and walked off. On return there was no answer when I tried calling and then I received a text to say “on our way" only to still be waiting 4 hours later. We had 3 other families with the same issue and another couple of people turning up and waiting whilst we were there! 100s of calls between us with a s getting nowhere. When we rang the final time we were told our car was waiting on the floor below where it had been dumped with the keys and the ticket to get out. So they couldn’t even face up to their wrong doings. Other families were more unfortunate and had found that their cars were actually left in the car park for the week, they got the keys returned but had a bill of Over £500 to be able to leave the car park. The most awful, unreliable scamming company I have ever dealt with. I have always used other company’s off site parking etc and have never had this issue. It’s actually shocking that Gatwick allows them to operate on the premises of the airport.

Actual criminals

Actual criminals. On drop-off, was told to leave car at Orange Car Park Level 4 at Gatwick and handed over keys. Returned week later and car was in exactly same spot and left with expensive parking charge.

Roll the dice ....

I had a reasonable experience, compared to those I met at both drop off and collection.

The departure drop-off was quite a wait 60mins (lucky I was early).

Also the lad didn't do any sort of inspection, claiming his phone was out of action.

The family waiting for the return of their car had been there for 2 ½ hrs, with little or no response from the 0088 number.

On our return, we waited a mere 2hrs from our first phone call, with the man who answered the 2nd call asking me "have you called us today?".

Whilst waiting, there were a couple and a single lady waiting. The single ladies car was returned with a bumper hanging off and the couples car was dumped on 5th floor without the key or the ticket to get out of the car park. They had waited 3 & 4hrs respectively.

Too much risk if you ask me. They only stole my magsafe car mount!

Missing a Key

If anyone gets back from their trip and finds that this company doesn’t have your Nissan car key it was left in our vehicle. We only found it when we got home and tried to call but the company haven’t got back to us.
Terrible company. Will not be using again! Very glad we managed to get the car back in one piece but some peoples vehicles had been left in the short stay car park for the duration of their stay!!

DO NOT USE. We called as instructed in the confirmation email 30mins ahead of arriving at Gatwick airport but nobody was there. We had to call 30 times and waited an hour until someone turned up - no company ID, no company marking, charging hidden fees that were not mentioned in the booking confirmation. Left feeling we just handed our car to an unprofessional individual and would never see it again. Worst way to start your holiday. Back on arrival we called as soon as we landed but again had to call several times, always being told car is on its way but took an hour. We consider ourselves lucky to still have a car… It’s not a meet and greet! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

⚠️ TOTAL NIGHTMARE: Car Abandoned Unlocked, Severely Damaged & Fled Scene! AVOID!

Do NOT trust this company with your vehicle. What was supposed to be a secure Gatwick Meet & Greet service turned into a dangerous, expensive, 5-hour ordeal in the middle of the night.

After landing, I called for my car and was given a string of blatant lies. First, they tried to bring me the wrong car (an Audi, mine is a grey RAV4), and then they lied about being "just outside the terminal." After waiting over an hour, they texted me an address to a dark Best Western hotel car park 10 minutes away from the airport with no instructions, claiming my car had a "puncture" and I’d have to take a taxi to it.

When I arrived at the hotel, the situation was shocking:

Car Abandoned Unlocked: My vehicle had been left completely unattended, wide open, and UNLOCKED in a dark public lot. Anyone could have stolen it, and my insurance would have been completely void. There was no driver and no key.

Severe Structural Damage: The tire didn't have a puncture, it had a massive, dangerous hole blown through it and was a complete write-off.

Alloys Destroyed: Both front alloy wheels had deep, fresh, severe gouges and scratches from being completely mistreated.

Driver Fled: We had to wait in the dark until a driver finally turned up, literally threw me the keys (he spoke barely any English), and immediately sped off in another car without taking an ounce of accountability.

I was left stranded on my own for 5 hours. I had to pay £25 for a taxi just to find my car, and £220.00 for a 24/7 emergency roadside tire replacement just to make the vehicle drivable. Because it is a lease car, I am now facing hundreds of pounds more in lease penalty fines to fix the destroyed alloys and swap the emergency tire for the contractually required brand.

While waiting at the hotel, hotel security and reception confirmed this parking company operates an unauthorized, rogue setup out of their lot, speeding and thrashing customers' cars back and forth. They do not look after your car in the slightest.

This business is a rogue, negligent operation. I have raised a bank chargeback, initiated a legal Letter Before Action, and reported them to Trading Standards and Gatwick Airport. Save your sanity, your money, and your car, DO NOT USE THEM.

Terrible company

Terrible company. DO NOT USE. Had to call 27 times to given mobile number to get through to let them know we were arriving at the airport. Arrived at car park no one there to collect keys/car. I ring multiple times more to ask why no one is there as we need to go & get told they're there waiting. Someone wanders up they've clearly just been sitting in another vehicle in the car park. He barely talks to us then starts talking to another guy at which point I got annoyed as he didnt even know where the car was parked or anything. Really unprofessional service, rude man taking the keys, definitely not a meet & greet that I would go for ever again. Return journey at 2am had to call multiple times again to get through. Waste of time & money

DO NOT NOT NOT use Fly Away Parking. It is not a legitimate business, it’s a scam. We waited 3 hours for the car, eventually they told us it was a level below, with the key on the tyre! We found it, and when we exited the car park we were charged £350 by the car park owner, presumably because our car had been sat there for days. We were surrounded by people in the same situation. I cannot stress how strongly you must not use this site.

Avoid this company!

Avoid this company. I waited for 2 hours for my car to be delivered. I rang the mobile number I had been given several times whilst I was waiting. I was told that my keys were missing, that they couldn't find my car, that someone had written the wrong date on the information. I was very alarmed at one point when it was suggested that they didn't have my car at all and that I was to blame. I was told that they would ring me back to update me but this never happened. I called repeatedly to ascertain what was going on and no one seemed to know.
I paid for easy and secure parking. It was clear to me that my car keys had been left in the wheel arch of my car where it was parked in their facility and that no one had taken care of them. The quick and easy service I was promised was slow, inefficient and difficult. The customer service was very poor as I was repeatedly told that the car was on its way when it clearly wasn't and when I was told that I would be contacted and I wasn't.
Others waiting at the same time as me also had frustrating experiences with one person's car being dropped off in the car park without him being notified and another couple waiting an hour for their car to be delivered.

The worst meet and greet in history. They do not meet and greet, they ask you to call in advance but then dont answer, they make you wait over an hour to collect your car, they are rude, unprofessional and a disgrace. They should not be operating as a company.

I used Flyway Meet & Greet Parking through I Park Gatwick and had one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had with airport parking.
After landing at Gatwick, I called Flyway to return my car and was told it would arrive within 30 minutes. After waiting over 30 minutes with no car, I called again and was suddenly told my tyre was flat. What makes this suspicious is that all 4 tyres on my car had been replaced with brand new tyres only one week before.
They claimed they tried contacting me, but I received absolutely no missed calls, voicemails or emails.
I then had to arrange my own transport late at night to their off-site car park. When I finally found my car, all windows had been left open and the tyre valve cap was lying on the floor. The place was dark and unsafe so I had to leave the car there and pay for an Uber home.
The next morning I returned and discovered a large cut in the sidewall of the tyre, with air rapidly leaking out. There is no possibility this damage existed before I handed over the vehicle because I drove 1.5 hours to the airport without issues and also have video evidence showing the car was in excellent condition before drop-off.
The condition of the car park itself was shocking:
Cars with windows left open
Broken windows on some vehicles
Open fuel flaps
Multiple cars with flat tyres
Deep puddles everywhere
One unattended car left running
It honestly looked like complete negligence and chaos.
Communication was terrible, most staff struggled to speak English, and despite waiting over 2 hours, no manager ever arrived to speak with me.
I strongly advise people to avoid using this company.

This company is an absolute joke. called 20 minutes before arrival, arrived there was no one to pick our car up, had to call multiple times and was told the man went to the wrong terminal and then called back he said it would be 15 minutes, 15 minutes later no one arrived. Guess who made us late!! This useless parking company!!!!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Had to call 28 times to finally get an…

Had to call 28 times to finally get an answer and they almost made me late to my flight. Upon return, I had to call several times again to get someone to answer, then had to call back 45 minutes later to he told the driver is 6 minutes away. About 20 minutes later, I get a call saying my car battery is dead. It is almost midnight and I have 4 young kids I need to get home and can't because of the incompetence of this company. Avoid at all costs.

Do not use! Meet them on level 5 car park 6 , one man taking keys from about 5 people ,when i returned from my holiday Waited 3 hours for car keys , and my car was parked in car park the whole time I was on holiday for 4 days, so cost me £800 to get my car out Gatwick car park , security dont help or do anything , there was 6-8 people waiting for there keys and cars, one person found her keys on the wheel of another car on a different level of the car park , multiple people had parking tickets between £800-1200 . Ive just put my car registration online and 2 vehicles have came up so my car has been cloned also ! They put the phone down and dont answer you for hours

Don’t use this company

Don’t use this company. They hide behind various names- flyaway parking and ipark. Leave you waiting at airport for hours. They then call on withheld number to say car is on different level leaving your key on windscreen with an exit ticket. When you exit you are then liable to pay £270. The car transporters spend all day moving the cars around the carpark when people arrive. They steal anything they can find from your car.

Absolutely disgraceful…. DO NOT USE THEM
We arrived at car park 6 level 5, only 1 man working… told us to go to floor 6 he then asked for 10.00 cash, asked him for a receipt and said it was all online/.. we then arrived, called and went straight to voicemail, eventually got through as was told car would be 44 mins.. this was at 1.05am.. we went to the right level, after at least 8 calls asking where my car was they eventually delivered at floor 3 and didn’t tell me… that was at 3.54am. Nearly 3 hours!!! My car stunk of cigarettes and ash all over the carpet…. Absolutely disgusting and will NEVER USE THEM AGAIN!!! Don’t book as also a furthe 16.00 to pay!!!!
