Awful!

Awful!! Waited an hour to get our car kept getting lied to “2 more minutes” “10 more minutes.” The man steps out without saying a word hands us our keys- so rude and no apology that we had been waiting for so long with our 2 really young children. Plus you have to pay for your car park ticket so price isn’t fairly advertised and they didn’t tell us we had to pay on exit so had to have further delays there. Awful, rude and very untrustworthy!!!

Dreadful service

Dreadful service - do not use. Lied to us on the phone about wait times and were generally rude. We waited over an hour after getting our bags. People before us waited longer. All positive reviews are seemingly done by staff of the company.

Awful service

Awful service! do not use this company. On calling 45 minutes before we left the airport, we were told the car would be there in 45 minutes. We then waited a further 2 hours. Having chased multiple times to be told it was 5 minutes, just leaving, 10 minutes which were all lies as the car is tracked and was sat at the compound. When the car turn up, it looked like it had been used for off roading.

Not really open 24 hours a day!

Waited at airport upon arrival in Nashville - 90 minutes.
Told attendant when leaving auto that we would be returning about 5 AM at airport. On arrival at garage pick-up point designated on ticket, we called the phone number on ticket to alert attendant that we were at the airport ready for pick-up. No one answered the phone. Voice mail instructed us to text the ticket number to same phone number. Received text "Could not retrieve your claim check at this time. Try again. If you continue to get this text, call." Still no one answering phone. This continued over a period of 90 minutes! Finally, an attendant answered the phone and sent a van for pick-up. When checking out, the attendant at the counter said that he had just come on duty.

Flight to Gold Coast 5/7/24
Arrived at flyaway and had to wait 30 min for the one shuttle to international airport missed our flight check in counter closed as we got there had a long walk from drop off and we had to buy the last 2 seats on jetstar $2,200
And sat in the airport for another 6hours
We have used flyaway quite a few times they always seem dodgy to me NEVER EVER again
I’m going to try airport park and fly next trip in 2 months they say shuttle bus every 10 min and drop you off at the airport door

Excellent

Excellent, efficient, reliable service from the team .

Dropping off and picking up the vehicle was simple and quick and even one call from the airport was very quick.

Leaving my vehicle here was hassle free as it was well looked after in their parking and I recommend flyaway to anyone traveling overseas as its cheapest and quickest option instead of hiring a taxi for drop off or pick or looking for someone to drop you off.

Simply load your vechile with your luggage and their shuttle will do the service.

Thank you to the team for excellent service and reliable service.

Flyaway Parking Auckland

Easy booking online. The staff were helpful and efficient.
Phd for shuttle there quickly and the was driver very good and chatty. Car within 50 metres of depot waiting for us.
Great service for our departure and arrival.
Happy to use this service again.

Avoid this place at all costs unless…

Avoid this place at all costs unless you want to be stranded at the airport without being able to reach them, or risk having your vehicle damaged or stolen, with no responsibility/liability from Fly Away.

Here are important things to know:
- they claim to be 24/7 : not really the case as the return process don't work when using the number provided to be picked up, we landed during the night as planned and they would not answer the phone, text messages, voicemail is full, email address on their website can't be reached and email will bounce back. We and other customers were stranded last night at the airport without having a way to reach them

- they take your key and park the car for you. Sounds nice until they are not answering calls during the night when comes time to pick up your vehicle. Also, upon return to pick up the vehicle, we were told by the driver that nobody was on site AND OUR CAR WAS LEFT WITH THE WINDOW OPEN, KEY ON THE DASH, while no employees were present onsite. Anyone could have stolen the car.

- the contract says they take no responsibility/liability for damage or stolen vehicles. This is scary as they have your key, and as well they closed our booking before we even landed, placed the key on the dash, left the window open and were told by the driver that all employees left. There is no gate/spikes in their parking that we could see, anyone could have stolen our car.

Here is a short summary of what happened last night : arrived at the airport and followed their instructions (text them your booking number by SMS). When doing this, got an automatic reply saying that the booking is already closed, and to call them if it's incorrect. Turns out they closed the booking 2h before we landed and all the employees left. When calling the number (only one number possible), nobody answers and mailbox is full. We were therefore waiting at the airport with other customers who also had their order closed before the planned time, they were waiting since 40 minutes and no shuttle was showing up. We then waited along with them another 20 or 30 minutes and started the process to book an Uber to go there (33$) not knowing if anyone would even be there to get our car keys. As we were confirming the Uber booking, the shuttle with a not particularly friendly driver showed up. When we arrived at the parking, we asked the driver why no one picks up the phone and asked if anyone is there right now. He said there is no one on site (at that point it was 2:30am) and our keys are in our car, on the dash. We walked up to the car and the window was open (most likely since midnight when they closed the booking and left), keys visible on the dash. The parking is not secure, we did not see any gate when leaving, and anyone could have stolen the vehicle as the window was open, keys on dash, no employees present.

Avoid at all costs.

The one star is for not damaging my…

The one star is for not damaging my car. I had a coupon for 2 free days parking. I parked there for a week. I was charged full price and was told at the time i would receive the credit for 2 free days. That seemed strange to me but i went with it. After a week, no credit. I called and they said 5-7 business days. I went with it. Its been almost a month and no credit. They tell me the credit was processed. It has not shown up on my credit card statement in Sept or Oct. My next step is to print all these statements and drive back to Nashville to prove I never got the credit. Then if the Manager isnt there (he isnt often). I would have to go back. All of this and a 30 minute wait to be picked up at the airport. Maybe the Manager should spend more time there or at least empower his people to make decisions. This place is not worth the headaches

I travelled recently and had the usual efficient and friendly service from Flyaway. This time I managed to lose my wallet. Luckily someone found it on the ground where my car had been parked and Flyaway not only phoned me but also had an employee who lived nearby drop it off to me. I am so grateful.
