Calm the f*** down! They are only selling ink and labels, not demanding to eat your children! The ink is Royal mail approved and is cheaper than your current supplier. So stop being vile and listen to what they say and you will actually save your Company alot of money!!!

Call pretending to be your currently supplier. Very misleading! Spoke to a manager who of course denies they would do this and tells me that I can't just make things up! So rude - judging from the other reviews they do this all the time. Trying to mislead unwitting staff into placing an order. Asked them not to call again, we'll see how long that lasts. Stay well clear

Complete Con Artists: Avoid.

Tried to scam us today. Alex said she was from Chip and Pin Ltd and they were clearing back log of orders and did we want to add anything to our order. When asked who ordered and what did they order she said she didn't have access to that information. Staff took her name and number. I called the number which was answered by Franking Supplies Ltd and asked them why they were misleading us. Tara denied Alex would have said anything misleading blah blah, Asked why the number given was for another company and assured Franking Supplies were answering the phone for Chip and Pin who were in another office upstairs. Informed them their cold calling scam tactics would be reported to OFT and have done so. Beware the good reviews on here...

Very professional experience recently with Franking Supplies. My order arrived very quickly as promised and the ink cartridges were much cheaper than my usual supplier. I will certainly be using Franking supplies again. Thank you.

Had a cold call from a lady from ‘Franking supplies uk Ltd’ no introduction, very hasty pushy manner trying to make out that they are our usual supplier of till rolls. Which they are not! They hastily ask how many till rolls you need with no mention at all of prices or payment arrangements to make you feel like they are sending items to you as a free insensitive. When items arrive they come with an over inflated invoice! THEY COMPLETELY MISLEAD YOU! I contacted them to challenge them, I was told either keep the items and pay for them or if I send the items back I had to pay for delivery! They would not pay for any returns! My experience is pretty much a carbon copy of most of the bad reviews on trust pilot! AVOID AT All COST!!!!!!

A receptionist had placed an order, not aware that they aren`t our usual supplier. After receiving the goods and the invoice I have noticed they are a lot cheaper than our usual supplier. Also my colleague had mentioned how helpful Franking Supplies were and how easy the process was. Will definitely be using in the future.

Used to buy direct from pitney bowes but was informed it was a lot cheaper here, decided to try it out and wouldn't go back! Ink is the same quality and almost half the price.

Always calls to say 'calling to see how many supplies you need for the next X months'.
No introduction, no explanation that we have not ordered from them before. When I say we don't order from Franking Supplies they always say we have ordered from them before. As i do all the ordering and have done for over 12 years I know I haven't. I say not to call again but then get a call at some point. There are ways to get customers and choosing words to mislead or telling lies is a matter for Trading Standards, so I have written to them. It is disappointing as they may have good products but trying to mislead is not the way to get good business.

This company sales technique is aimed at tricking receptionists into believing that they are a regular supplier to the company of franking cartridges and labels. They send a fax or email pre-completed form that the receptionist simply needs to sign and date in order to complete the usual order. The ink cartridges and labels are extortionate and when you try to contact them to return the items they refuse to communicate. I told them via email to remove my company from their mailing list and to to contact us again. They ignored this and emailed an order form ready for my receptionist to sign instead.

Their method is described perfectly described by OFT against two Kent based companies if you Google "OFT STAMPS OUT MISLEADING CALLS FROM MAIL SUPPLIERS"

Totally agree with all the other comments here. How on earth is FRANKING SUPPLIES UK LTD allowed to continue to trade??? Some loser called Amber phoned in connection with 'our order' and outright lied to a colleague about it - even going so far as to send a form across for signature with our 'usual' order on. Incidentally, there were no prices against the goods being sent - 2 x Ink Cartridges and 2 x Postal labels - totally laughable!! AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!!

Terrible company.
Called trying to scam a young sales member of our team to make an order with them, claiming they are our usual supplier - which is not the case. We have no signed purchase order for them and they have said they cannot provide us with one as the order was 'placed' over the phone (which they claim in comments below this is needed to make an order?)
We will be blocking them from all our call lists and reporting them to trade standards. If they want to take this case further they can feel free, will just be a waste of their money and time though. Learn how to run a business properly with your spare time!

I believe this company is dishonest, immoral and preys on junior inexperienced staff by cold calling and posing as your current supplier. We record all our telephone calls and on reviewing this they are clearly misleading and vague. They tricked our staff member to respond to an order form that is either emailed or faxed. There is no mention of costs on the phone or on the order form and the quantities are also misleading. They then sent an invoice separately and by the time we realised what had happened it was too late to return items. Their prices are unsurprisingly also excessive. They are ripping off small businesses and cause distress to inexperienced staff.

I would recommend any business having the same issues to report them to your local trading standards

Agree with other companies who say these people are scammers. They even send letter through “debt collectors” if you question them.
They call saying, “I’m Tara from franking supplies, we are stocking both labels and cartridges it’s for 6m. Will four of each be enough to see you through?”
Especially when they rope in some junior member of staff, it’s really hard. They also ask for email and ask them to send it back soon and they’ll sort everything out.

We have learnt from these scammers and will be vigilant next time.

These people cold call pretending to be existing suppliers, and trick employees into placing orders by way of an emailed order form.

We asked them last year to remove our contact details after one incident, only to find today that they've managed to get another order by contacting a different department.

SCAM, SCAM, SCAM. You absolute shysters, you claim we ordered PDQ rolls, which we didn't incidentally. So you can send us a rogue invoice priced at 5 times what our actual supplier charges us. Reporting you to the OFT.

I've had an account for the last couple of years and usually speak to Amber , who is friendly, approachable and professional , the goods always arrive promptly and the prices are highly competitive against the majority of main suppliers

These guys are dodgy scam artists. They send us invoices and harass us for payment even though we have never ordered anything through them
